The electric rod didn’t interest him, but the sacrificial blood puddle peeked his interest, after all, the blood void was an ability that can be used for attacks and enhances other abilities.

But he was completely unaware on what the corrupted faith points are.

He guessed that it was a type of faith point needed for some of the abilities, but to be sure he searched it up in the ability shop.

The results were abilities that are either demonic, disease, blood or any other type considered evil.

But he already decided that he will use these abilities, because there were a lot of disaster abilities among them.

So, after weighing all the pros and cons to using the blood void…he found that there were no cons, because he wasn’t afraid of ghosts and nightmares.

While the pros were: Corrupted faith points production, ability enhancement, special attacks and dark creatures that live in the soul and can protect it from attacks…which seemed logical even though it wasn’t said, bearing in mind that they obey all of his orders.

Without any further hesitation, he bought the knowledge of how to create the sacrificial blood puddle.

‘Just as I thought. The sacrificial blood puddle is easy to create, because it is a basic technology. Basically, I have already created it, when built the automatic blood sacrifice, but it is useful to know that the blood in the puddle and later stages like the lake won’t actually be blood, but rather the blood energy left behind once the blood disappears. And this dark energy will be slowly merging and combing, so I am likely going to end up with a drop that is actually an ocean. Luckily, it is possible to decrease the density of the blood energy. But all this is not very useful without the blood void, because the corrupted faith produced is leaked into the surroundings’

The more he thought about it, the more he was amazed by the blood void ability.

What interested him the most was that the ability was completely safe for the mind and soul unlike some other abilities considered evil.

He opened the ability shop and searched the desired ability.

Blood void

The foundation of all blood gods. Creates a pocket dimension in the soul where the blood puddle, pond, lake etc. will be transported alongside all the people used to gather blood. Enhances certain abilities, can give access to abilities with sufficient development, creates dark creatures and allows to receive the corrupted faith at all times. Can be elevated from a pocket dimension to a material domain using enough blood energy.

‘Hm, so it is considered a disaster type ability. Makes sense considering that it creates dark creatures, but the price is still too high for me. Unless I sacrifice 25 of the people that are still alive, it will take a long time.’

From one side, he wanted to obtain the ability as fast as possible, but from the other he thought that it would be more beneficial to leave the people alive.

Impatiently, he went to the place where the people were kept and killed 25 volunteers that were begging for death by repeatedly hitting them with his lightning body.

Finally, after leaving the building, he bought the blood void and while he was at it, he decided to also buy the lightning rod with the last 10 FP(Faith points) he had gotten from the first person he killed.

Unexpectedly, while he was getting the knowledge for the lightning rod, he felt as if lightning struck him.

‘Lightning is created from lightning elements gathering together and then being released at once. Then maybe, my lightning strike doesn’t create the lightning, but accumulates and then releases lightning elements.’

The world around him changed, now he could feel little particles in his surroundings, they linked together and divided constantly.

And the place where he could sense the lightning elements linking to the most was…his body?

Then, he decided to test a theory, if it was correct, once he used the lightning strike, the lightning inside his body would disappear.

And indeed, when he used the lightning strike, the particles in his body disappeared and created a thunder strike.

Then, he saw the particles going inside his body and linking into electric wires that were intertwining and moving inside his body.

That meant that he didn’t create the disaster, he accumulated the disaster…at least the lightning element disasters worked this way.

This made him think of two things, the first one was that he could use the lightning strike as much as he wants without waiting for it to completely accumulate and reach maximum strength.

And the second one was that since he can live without the lightning in his body, the disasters in his body were only an outer layer protecting his true body.

‘Doesn’t that mean that I am completely defenceless once I have used the lightning strike and even a normal hit can hurt me? Normal people won’t be a big problem since I can fly, but there won’t be many normal people left after some time because of the 7 billion humans turned into gods and sent here.’

This realisation brought him back from the heavens to the earth, he was still weak and can be killed as long as someone can counter his flight ability and disperse the disasters protecting him.
