On October 12, 2017, the end of the world was believed to be close as an meteor, the size of which could have ended the prehistoric age of dinosaurs was coming down on Earth. Countries all around the world united in hopes of stopping this catastrophe before it could reach Earth or even redirecting to a different path but all was useless as no matter what they did, the meteor never shifted as if it was homing in on Earth. As days trickled by the meteor was about to reach Earth and break through the atmosphere. Everyone around the world was praying to their Gods, screaming hopelessness or staring blankly in acceptance but the moment it touched the atmosphere, no impact was felt. Instead the meteor broke apart and turn to something like dust that was filled with all kinds of colors and shades. This dust surrounded the whole world and seeped into it. At the same time as the dust seeped to the Earth, it also went into everything living and non-living thing on Earth. It hit everyone and everything with dust and as people thought that it was going to kill them they all have a daydream. In the dream they saw a future of themselves with powers only believed in the works of fiction. Some saw themselves flying, teleporting from one place to another, breaking mountains with a step and many more.

This was known later on as the ‘Day of Dreams’ where everyone was given a new form of energy or power. With it should have come chaos as super powered humans broke past streets with their newly found powers but it did not. The masses were quelled before any form of chaos was ignited by one woman. The woman would later be known as “The Angel’s Voice” but at the time she was also known as Elizabeth Mary, a famous woman politician in England. In her dream, instead of her being given abilities suited for combat, she saw herself leading the masses into the right direction with her voice. Her voice had the properties to cause people to listen to her and calm themselves.

After being calmed down the Elizabeth Mary’s voice, people started to rationalize and wonder what they should do in the future. As the common citizens and politicians wondered what to do, a group of people from around the world formed a group called the “Endless Dream”. This group was created by people of many different asnicities, genders, ages and jobs but they all had one thing in common, they all wanted to create a future for the currently lost world. This group had multiple agendas, from enlisting more recruits around the world, to researching into the powers the got and to even increase their combat abilities. In the beginning the final part wasn’t in their agenda as they didn’t want to cause any harm, but it was later added because of the increase in incidents where people would wrongly use their powers.

The group “Endless Dream” started to pick up more and more momentum as more people and even politicians joined their group. Even Elizabeth Mary, had later joined their group to use her power to help the world. The group became so big that heir influences reached parts all around the world and they became the UN of superpowered humans and also the sole authoritative force in claims relating to such matters. During the ascent of “Endless Dream”, incidents from all around the world relating to the death of humans animals were reported and in some cases, an whole area was damaged with craters. At first people thought that this was caused by superpowered humans but they were wrong. The cause of this damage were being called Nightmares. Nightmares were other living things like animals or plants who had also got dreams and had gotten powers. Though all living being got the dust energy from the meteor, not all were given powerful abilities. It was also less common for plants or animals to have gotten huge amounts of powers but some animals or plants were more susceptible to it than others and some were even more powerful that humans.

The first Nightmare sighting was caught during the destruction of New York by an former eagle turned Nightmare. The eagle had grown to colossal height with a wingspan that covered 1/4th of the whole of New York. This Nightmare cause havoc on the city until other superpowered humans with enough strength were able to beat the Nightmare. This incident was only the start as more and more cases started to pop up and many countries with more wildlife like Africa or Russia. These crises pressed the need or warriors to combat these monsters and this resulted in the creation of companies called ‘Guilds’ who fought against such threats and ‘hunters’, people who hunted and fought the Nightmares. This had also caused for programs and schools to be created to create hunters to fight nightmares called Dream Academies By that point, the whole world was integrated with this power given to them by their dreams.
