This is the world. It’s really plain, it’s really boring. You’re forced to run through a certain system. I’ve got a question to ask? “Do you really enjoy the world as it is? Have you ever wished that you were somewhere else instead?”
The thing you always wanted to do as long as they weren’t a norm you’d be scorned upon, if you gain too much you are subjected to alienation, if you also lose too much you are also subjected to alienation. Then… is there really a meaning?
I’d always wanted to go somewhere else. A place where I can be who I wanted to be, not what was instilled in me forcefully ever since I was a child. What is this place? Why are we still here… why am I still here.
If only, I could have just disappeared. I’m sick and tired of listening to all of these people. I’m on the verge. The verge of just ending it all, but suicide in my opinion is the losers way out. Or, is that even true?...
At least those were my thoughts. What were the others like?
I’ve always wanted to be part of another world, one where magic exists, or at least one where people are allowed to do the things they truly want or are still able to do so without them going to utmost turmoil as the world I’ve resided in now.
I’ve always wondered? Those authors, creators or movies that seem surreal, are those their way of running from reality? Protrude a way that they’d want to view reality. There has to be a reason why they’re always popular and why people always read them. For the readers, it’s to indulge themselves into a world that is not of their current plane. For the authors, they’d want to create a world that they seemed ideal.
But they weren’t enough. I for one, wished that I could live in such worlds, I don’t want to exist anymore in this world. What’s so good about it anyways.
With those thoughts in mind, I went to sleep. Wishing I’d never awoke again.

As I come to a state of consciousness, I felt something stinging my eyes as they were closed. What’s up? I thought… why is it that it’s so bright?
I turned to the side and slowly opened my eye lid to adjust to the brightness that I was greeted with.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm
I’m in a new world aren’t I?... Uwaaaa, this is too bright for me. Where am I? Have I finally decided to give in to drugs or something? Even if I did I don’t think this would have been it’s effects… was I dreaming? I guess I’ll go back to sleep and see if it was… but this place is too bright too damn bright. Imagine going to sleep while facing the sun directly.
Where was I? I was at the edge of the forest, I could see the forest behind me, in front of me was just a huge patch of endless fields. I would kind of like to explore, but I’m way too tired to do any of that.

I guess I’ll just go into the forest, the trees are pretty huge, they’re about the scale of about 37(each averaging at about 20cm?) bananas tall. They have really huge leaves too, wooooo those would make a good blanket I guess, not like there would be anything else that could do so here. A great amount of shade too under that huge tree.
I decided to pick a huge fresh leaf that fell off the tree. It was about 2m long. And I found a nice little concave under the tree, it felt like it was a home, the walls were made of the tree’s huge roots that spanned over a wide range. There was a nice little hole at the roots and the ground was not made of dirt, it was what looked like grass that was laid there intentionally.
Heck it, I couldn’t think about anything. I took my leaf, I tore it in 2 right in the center, The width of the leaf was about 70cm, I used the first half to cover the hole making my little concave sleep dome pitch black, and I went to sleep using the other half of my leaf.

Oooo this feels so good. What is this? Fur? I don’t know, I’m just going to bring it closer to me and hug it. It was going to be my dakimakura. Or otherwise, my body pillow. It was soooooo fluffy.

I slowly opened my eyes to get used to the surroundings, well it was pitch black anyways, there was nothing to see even if I opened my eyes. But I can feel it? What is this? I then decided to reach out to the back, assuming what I thought it was, and there it was… A super bushy fluffy tail. I know one when I feel one.
Am I hugging onto a fox girl? … I thought I was dreaming? Am I still dreaming? I thought that as I carried on rubbing that bushy fluffy tail.

I felt pain, I mean I don’t know, it could be a rumor? But apparently when you dream you don’t feel pain, I’ve never really seemed to remember any of my dreams for the past few years so I can’t really confirm that fact either. But… supposedly that’s true, I’m not dreaming aren’t I?
I slowly moved my body up, and there I remembered where I put my “Leaf curtain” to cover up the sunlight. I slowly moved it to let my eyes adjust. The first thing the sunray hit was a fox girl? She had 3 blue tails that looked like it measured up to each having a span of 1 meter, blue hair that ran down to her waist, and blue ears that looks fluffy as hell, not to mention, she was pretty busty I’d say a 93cm I saw her open her left eye slightly, it was red in color. She looked to be something about 160cm tall.
I mean, I kind of knew that I was sleeping in someone else's home, but I thought I was dreaming and I didn't have to care bout it. But apparently, it was the house of a fox girl. She was wearing what seems to be a Yukata.
I mean I was just using that fox girl as my dakimakura, did she not mind? That’s cool. But….
“OMG IT’S A FUCKING FOX GIRL.” Who knew that miracles could happen.
“Yes I am, what’s with the morning awakening, I’d like to sleep more, could you come back here? It felt nice getting hugged and sleeping.”
Hmmmmm. I’m not going to complain, for now I’m just going to chill with her, I’m supposedly in another world anyways.
I closed back the leaf curtain and hugged her back to sleep, I felt too calm and soothed by her. I went back to sleep as well.

When I picked it up, I wondered what it was, it was pitch black after all. It felt like a little tiny cube? Yeah a cube? I don’t really know how to explain it, it literally felt just like a cube, it was a cube that had a very very VERY smooth texture, a texture like silk? It was kind of weird, but the solidity of the cube was very high.
I wanted to go and check it out but… you see, there was a fox girl that was clinging onto me while she was asleep. This was pure bliss honestly.
I really didn’t want to disturb the fox girl, but the vibration wouldn’t stop, and it seems like little laser sites started forming. From where I could see it it seemed like the cube had 8 small cubes combined together, and in between the 8 cubes were those little very miniscule gaps that made it obvious that the cube was formed using smaller cubes, that’s where the light came out from.
The lights grew larger and larger, and then the cube opened up, now it looks like a rectangle with 8 cubes forming them.
“Greetings master, I am C207.”

“Hi?” I said with question marks floating in my head.
“Hmmmm… what’s all that noise, why’s it so bright?” The fox girl said as she started to get up beside me.
“Ohhhh… sorry about that, you see this cube was on me when we were sleeping and it started vibrating, I’m really foreign to everything in this world after all. I did not expect that to happen, do you happen to know what this is?”
“Ohhhh, C207, you have finally decided to proc? I’ve been waiting for so long that we managed to sleep for over 4 hours before you decided to show up” The fox girl said in a sarcastic voice.
“Ahhhh, Kanna-sama I see that you’re already here. Well since all of the requirements are here, let’s start explaining to you what has happened.”
I guess I have to listen to what happened, this seems interesting too.

Those noises were of Kanna moving from her position to mine and sitting directly on my lap.

“I’m fine with that, do as you please, I’m most comfortable sitting here anyways.”
That’s a green light right? I mean even if it’s not, she’s technically the one who broke my personal boundary first. Not that I really mind. This was the best case scenario possible. I shall not complain, but… I shall also take her offer to do whatever I wanted.
So, without further ado. I embraced her from the back, putting my hand over her midriff and pulled her towards me so that my entire body would touch her. I love her warmth after all, and this is my first time anyways. It was a dream come true.
And as Kanna promised, she did not say anything, more like she allowed it to happen or wanted it to happen. Who are these people? I’m so confused. Well I guess that’s what… ermmmm, C280? Wait no C207 is about to explain, or at least I’m hoping he would explain it.
“Ehemmmm, so since everyone is ready, let’s begin.”
“So first off, you have been transported to this world because of your ultimate desire to want to leave the prior world. I C270 as of today will be your guide and your "World Jumper".
"World Jumper?"
"Yup! That's correct Kei-sama. I shall explain the World Jumper now."
"As you might have figured, I have the ability to bring you and a party to another world. As of now, we're currently on Racia a tier 4 world."
"Tier 4 difficulty huh. Is that high? It doesn't sound like the right rank for a beginner who just supposedly entered this system. And does that mean that the things around here work around a certain system with a somewhat ranked system?"
"Very wise Kei-sama as I'd expect of an exceed"
"Exceed?”
“Yes you are of the exceed tier, the highest tier for the otherworlders. Exceeds usually start out with a higher rank in comparison to the other otherworlders and usually have foxes as their contractees. The average starting tier is 0.”
“Hmmmmmm… Wait… I’m in a contract with Kanna? When did that happen? And how did that happen?”
“Well Kei-Sama, you don’t actually get a choice, when you’re summoned upon the system you are chosen by the spirits, they evaluate you and choose their masters. Kanna here is as powerful as a matriarch in the spirit world. It’s strange that she has finally chosen a master. It’s been 4,000 years already after all.”
Hmmmmm, so what am I? Some overpowered character? It seems like I started out with an all too good beginning. This is not normal, I have extremely bad luck, how is it that I’ve ended up in this position?
“Well, anyways, let me get the situation straight, so the thing I’m hugging now is a plenipotentiary of the spirit realm?... okay… so what’s my rank then C208? C207 yeah. Can I call you something else?”
“? C207 is my model number I was not given a name.”
“Hmmm, okay, then since you’re technically mine now, I shall name you Seto… hmmmm yes that brings about a good tone in comparison to your previous C207… or 8? I’m pretty sure it’s 7, ah who cares. I’m calling you Seto from now on.”
“Yes Kei-sama thank you so much for giving me a name. Alright, with that aside, let me answer your question. What is your tier? I shall show you your status on your status page”
As Seto said that, he opened up himself into a platform, from that platform a hologram of me came up.

Why do I have a red and a blue eye? To begin with, my eye color was hazel brown in my prior world anyways, and my hair was black… Hmmmm…. And now that I think about it WHY IS MY STATUS AS A VIRGIN STATED IN MY STATUS LIST.

“Errrrr, I don’t know, it’s just there, it’s not like I can control what comes up on the status page, I do not have that authority. I can only update it based on your real life information.”

Hmmmm, I noticed a little something in the corner, a box that was filled with black smoke as if it was covering the thing, and another box that’s filled with white smoke? I guess? I mean that’s what it looks like.

Even here huh, I was a pretty unlucky boy, heck people might even say I was the unluckiest person in the world. But I don’t feel like unlucky I wonder why. As I thought of this, Kanna who sat on me made me feel like there was a warm aura around her wrapping around me.
“It’s okay Kei, take a look at the box beside it.” Kanna said as she leaned back towards me
I did as Kanna said and went in to have another look, the box was filled with a warm white aura.
“EXTREME FORTUNE”
Hmmmm, I don’t know why, but I moved my finger to it and touched it. When I did, a little window popped up.

“Ooooooooo, Kanna sharing her luck with me? What does that mean? Does that mean that my ‘passive’ is no longer in effect?”
“Yes Kei-sama, that’s the case, if Kanna-sama was not around, you’d meet great misfortune. But thankfully that won’t happen, I myself have no knowledge of such a skill in my entire 774 years of service.”
“Hmmm, you all seem pretty ancient, I mean I’ve only been alive for 18 years. I suppose my age is the same here too considering that I don’t feel or look any different. Except my hair and eyes, but that’s all. Hmmm, so you’re 774 years old? And Kanna is…”
“I’m 4436 years old, am I too old for you?” Kanna said as she turned around with an aura of worry.
“Of course not! That’s wayyyyyy cooler in my opinion” I said as I hugged Kanna tighter with a silly smile on my face.

“Oh yes, Kei-sama about your age and the things to come, you have been removed from the human limits.”
“Human limits? Removed off my human limits? I’m anticipating you to say that I live longer and I have increased physical and mental capabilities or something Seto.”
“As you have said Kei-sama, you’re right, you now have an extreme increase in physical capabilities, and when I say extreme I mean about 100X more than your original physical strength, and that’s not the limit either, it’ll grow more as you rank your tier up. And your age limit, you won’t age anymore. And you have no ending limit either, the only way for you to die is in battle? I suppose? But it’s pretty much almost impossible to kill an exceed, as long as the exceed doesn’t have a major difference in tier level in comparison to the opposing force.”
“Oh yes, Kei-sama, I almost forgot to mention, but spirits have a tier too, Kanna there is the top tier. She’s equivalent to almost a tier 47 exceed”
Tier 47? Isn’t that too huge a gap? I’m only Tier 3, and she's tier 47? Considering that I’m an otherworlder and I have a tier, does that mean that there’s a whole bunch of otherworlders too in comparison to me? Or at least a few, there has to be a few.
“Seto, are there any other exceeds in comparison to me?”
“Yes Kei-sama, there are around 5000 more otherworlders. You are one of the newest batches.”
“Alright, if that’s the case, what’s the highest tier otherworlder now?”
“The highest tier exceed is tier 52”
“Hmmmm, and how long has that otherworlder been in this system for?”
“The highest tier otherworlder has been here for about 567 years. The oldest one has been here for about 953 years.”
“That’s an interesting fact to know, the oldest one isn’t the highest tier one. And that looks like an eternity to reach a higher tier. While we’re at it Seto, I noticed that there was another tag below my tier that said that I was #17,659 and #2198, why is there 2? And is that my rankings? If they are what are they against? Am I supposed to be ranked 2198 amongst the exceeds?”
“Yes as you have said Kei-sama, those are your rankings. However, not for exceeds. There are 2 rankings, one for otherworlders and the other one ranked in the universe. With that being said, you’re the ranked 17,659 being in the universe and ranked 2198 amongst the otherworlders. With that being said, there is a hidden ranking that you can activate.”

“Yup, try tapping on your otherworlder ranking”
I did as Seto said and when I did, a small window appeared.

“I see, a ranking for exceeds, and 17? That means that there are very little exceeds isn’t there?”
“Yes, as you’ve mentioned Kei-sama, the exceed counts are only 21 out of the otherworlders that have managed to land into our universe.”
“How many otherworlders are there?”
“There are 5367 otherworlders in this universe and 154,659,748,176,233,143,987,173 intelligent beings in this universe. The otherworlders are all in the top 5 million of the count”
“So there are over 154 sextillion intelligent beings in this universe, that’s a big universe, I guess that’s expected too, considering that Earth was 109th time the diameter of the smallest star in the world, the sun...or at least my previous world.”
“Excuse me Kei-sama, but we should move on to the next function.”
“Alright Seto, let’s move on, what’s next?”
“The next section of the world jumper is the map.” Seto said as he changed to another hologram, the hologram showed a 3d scale of a map from the top.

“This is the only possible part of the map I can show you now Kei-sama, the map is something that can only be expanded when Kei-sama have explored the area, I cannot map a place we’ve never been to before. My system doesn’t allow it to happen.”
“Hmmmm, so this is like an rpg? I have to map an area I go to, at least it makes logical sense.”
“I noticed a little % marker too on the right side. Is that supposed to be the percentage of the map I’ve managed to map?”
“Yes that’s right Kei-sama, there are 2 percentages as you can see, ‘0.2% Great forest’ and ‘0.009%’ of Racia.”
Hmmmm, so there’s a tracking system for your map progress too, that’s fantastic. It really is like an rpg, but I guess it’s better than it not being an RPG right, I mean imagine the amount of effort Leif Eriksson went through to discover America. Hell, he didn’t even get credited for it in today's time. Imagine, heading out to sea on a boat and pray that you hit another land. It’s kind of dumb if you think about it, I’m very grateful for this RPG like map.
“At the top left of the map, you can see that there is an icon that’s greyed out, that’s the option to enter other world maps, but since you’ve only been to Racia, that’s been greyed out as there’s nothing to see. Since we’re talking about world, let’s head to the world section.”
As Seto said that, once again, a new hologram appeared, the hologram had planets that were floating, it seemed like I could move them as if there was a screen there if I tried.
“This Kei-sama, is a map of the Universe. As of now, you can only see the galaxy ‘Latchus’, when you have cleared the conditions to view the other galaxies, you will be able to see all the other galaxies there is to offer.”
Hmmm, I see. So I’ve got to finish supposedly this galaxy or something similar to a clear condition on Latchus to see all the other galaxies. I suppose there’s a lot, this is probably some sort of starter area to get used to the new things that otherworlders have to go through. Or at least that’s what I thought.
I saw little planets or other planets behind us, ours planet Racia, was covering up other planets. And so, I decided to try to swipe it.

What I was looking at was an oriental looking girl. She was wearing what I think to be a white one piece? She was standing at around 157cm tall and had beautiful raven black hair that ran down to her waist, she had eyes the color of an emerald. She was lesser on the chest size around 83cm.
Don’t ask me why I have an intense knowledge of bust sizes without actually measuring.
“Umu, umu, you look great Seto, really cute.” I said with a smile on my face.
“Thank you Kei-sama, but I’ve got 1 more important major tab to show you before we can move off.”
“Alright Seto, please do.”

“Alright, last but not least Kei-sama, is the skill tab. The skill tab consists of skill trees, they do not require any special type of points or anything, you just have to gain experience or hit a certain point in your prior skills in the skill tree that you’re currently heading down. There is also unique skills and ultimate skills. As of now, you have only 1 unique skill and 0 ultimate skill.”
As she said, I went up to Seto and looked at her hologram of the skill tree.
Unique skill - ‘Lie Perception’
I decided to tap on the box that had the skill in it, as I’d expected another box with a description came out.
“Lie Perception is a skill where the carrier have the ability to tell if an entity is lying or not, this is seen through the color of their aura, if the color of the aura cannot be seen, an alert or an indication is sent to the user’s mind indicating that the entity was lying.”
There was more, there’s another paragraph below that one.
“Lie Perception was gained through the countless amount of backstabs to the user albeit the user trusting the other person. Through countless experiences of betrayal and facades lie perception was achieved.”
That’s something that wasn’t pleasing to read, but I suppose it’s true, the amount of time I’ve been lied to betrayed through a sense of trust. It’s not something I want to think about.
My heart ached as I thought about it.
“Kei… are you okay?”
Kanna woke up from her little nap as she sat on me, it was as if she sensed my sadness, she turned around and asked me with an earnest face.
“It’s alright Kei, I’m here now.”
Kanna said as she hugged me.
For some reason… I teared, and seconds later, waterfalls. It was the thought that, perhaps, I could finally trust someone, someone I could stay loyal to, without falling for another facade, or a scheme to get the better of me. I didn’t have to play the liar's game anymore.
If I read my skill right, I should be able to tell if Kanna is lying or not.
I looked at Kanna, and her aura, it was so warm… There was no way she was lying, if my skill holds true to its words.
I hugged Kanna back.
“Thanks Kanna, I’m fine now.”
“Is that all Seto? Is that all the major tabs that’s important for now?”
“Yes, that’s right Kei-sama, you should head out and test yourself.”
“I shall.”
I said that as I stood up.
For once, I thought… maybe life is worth living.
