The sun beat against the back of a young boy as he walked towards the tide. The cool, blue-hued water slid to his small feet as he went further into the tide. His hands reached towards the sand, as he fell to the grain-like floor. Purple eyes glanced toward the small shine in the sand, a large wave beginning its descent.
"Tanaka!" Screamed a young woman with brown hair and amethyst eyes, as she grabbed the young boy before the wave collapsed upon him. "What were you thinking!"
There was no response as he clung to his mother's back, a small gold ring held in his sandy hands. An unknown script or language stood encrypted in the ring, as the gold ring reflected off the sun.

"Tanaka-kun, wait up!" Exclaimed a boy with black hair and green eyes, as he rushed after Tanaka. He straightened out his tie and redid his red uniform's collar as he caught up to Tanaka, almost breathless.
"Why did you follow me, Arata-Kun?" Tanaka asked glaring at the boy who was heaving to catch his breath. "Your skipping class, a rare thing coming from you. Is the new Legend of Gelda coming out today?"
"If so, I already got us two," Arata grinned, as he pulled out the two games from his bag, "It's nice to have connections when you're rich."
A slight laugh came from Tanaka as he put his hand on his face before heading the way back to class.

The bell rang from the comms speaker, as the chairs screeched almost in unity. Everybody was rushing to get their bags, and this was no different for Tanaka as he grabbed his bag.

"Have a nice day ma'am!" He shouted toward the teacher as he ran to the entrance of the school. "Tanaka-Kun, what took you so long?"
"Sorry, you know how Miss Yukimura can be," Tanaka replied as they began to walk. "You're excused, I forgot you had that old granny for a teacher," Arata said as they checked both ways of the crossroad, an engine beginning to rev from their side.
"The light flashed red, as the two began to walk across the long crossroad, a man on a motorcycle holding a bat, increasingly accelerated towards Arata. The two almost at the end, continued to chat as Tanaka took a curious glance at the way the motorcycle was.
"Arata-Kun!" He yelled as he pulled Arata with his hand, launching Arata behind him, and the metallic bat towards his face. The golden ring began to glow blue where the unreadable message was written. A large metallic clink came from the bat, as the cyclist quickly drove away showing Tanaka gone.
"Tanaka-Kun? Tanaka-Kun!!!" Arata Screamed as he looked around the end of the road, before quickly grabbing his phone. Small drops of rain came from his eyes, as he struggled to input the digits on his phone.

The creaking of wood came from a stone well, as a girl in a dress pulled up a bucket of water. The harsh sun glared at Tanaka, who began to slowly wake up on the ground. The grass quivered against the wind, and the clashing of steel came from the west. A man wearing fancy clothes continued to shout about selling animals from the north. Where he stood beside a large stone house. Loud shouts of happiness came from the east in the largest building in the village, which had a large golden symbol on the front. Wooden houses encircled almost the entire wall. The well itself from above may have even seemed like the village's lifeline. Tanaka groaned, as he rubbed his eyes and got up.
"Huh? Where am I?!"
