I suddenly open my eyes and feel confused as to why I can even open them. I look around and notice that I am still within that alleyway where I was stabbed by that madman, but for some reason I am still alive and I actually don't feel pain from my body at all from the injuries I got from him stabbing me.

Raising my hand to my face, I noticed that my hand is a lot smaller than before, and it is very white now, as if snow. Confused, I touch my body all over and realize I am not even a man anymore.

After I realized this, I don't even panic, making me wonder what happened to me. In this type of situation, I should be in a panic since this shouldn't be something that even happens in real life, yet I can't even feel anything but calmness, making me even more confused.

It was at this time I suddenly noticed a blue screen in the corner of my vision, and when I focused on it, it came closer to my face instead of being in the corner of my view. I see words on it and read over it to see if it tells me anything. After I finish reading over it I finally realize what happened.

"Sigh, what in the world? I became some sort of 'Player' somehow, most likely due to that light that flashed before I fainted as well as that petal falling onto me. The reason I am so calm right now is probably because of this 'Calm Mind' skill as well, so I can't feel anything but calmness due to it. Well, I actually feel grateful for that or else I would be panicking like mad right now. Still, since it said System, does that mean it is like those ones in games? It says Status so is it like I think it is? Well, let's try it then. Status."

"Hm, it really is like I thought it would be. It has all of the stuff a normal Status from a game would, like stats and other things, and it also brings up all of my skills as well, which makes it easier to see them. While I don't know what that last window is since it is all question marks, I don't think it is anything bad for me. Still, to go from a 23 year old man to a 13 year old little girl... Really awkward to say the least. At least this skill helps me a lot. Actually, can I see what these skills do?"

Calm Mind(Max): Enables Player to have a constantly calm mind where they are not affected by negative emotions which would weaken the Player.

Shadow Warp(1): Mark a location to create a warp point at, allowing Player to warp there whenever they wish. Each level adds 1 extra warp point. Level 1 only has 1 warp point.

Dark Sword(1): Summon a sword made out of darkness for a limited time. At level 1 the sword lasts 1 hour and each level doubles the time.

Control Dead(1): Make any dead being come under the Player's control to fight or do other things for the Player. Player can only control 3 dead beings at level 1, each level doubles how many dead beings Player can control.

Death Corrode(1): Creates a black poison that will corrode anything it touches depending on how strong the target is. It has a cooldown of a month, and each level lowers the cooldown by one day.

"So it can tell me what they do, how convenient. That Death Corrode skill is very dangerous, to say the least. The other skills are also very useful, especially that Shadow Warp and Control Dead, since I can create warp points for important places and can make my own army of undead when the level gets high enough."

I can say I can quite satisfied with these skills of mine, since they are all quite strong. I am also quite excited since the world pretty much turned into some sort of game since it has this System thing appearing out of nowhere as well as giving people powers.

I also don't have a name anymore, which makes sense since I have a new body. Since I am now a female, I can't really use my last name since it was made for a male...

"Well then, I will call myself Rei from now on, since it is a gender neutral name and it works."

Shrugging, I don't mind since it is my name now anyways. I can already hear a bunch of fighting going on near my location, meaning I am indeed not the only person to get powers. Well, it makes sense since I got the title 'First Wave Survivor', meaning there are many other people who got that as well. There should also be other waves of that light appearing in the future since it says first wave.

As the fighting gets closer to me, I didn't want to stay here any longer since I have no clue if I am strong or not at the moment. My stats seem to be very low, so I don't want to risk it against other people who are already fighting it out, since it would be too dangeorus for me. I think of something and decide to test it out to see if it works.

"So it does actually work, thank god."

I let out a sigh of relief and select the Rei's House, and I was swallowed by a black portal and before I knew it, I was standing inside of my room in the house I had been living in for the past few years. Sighing in relief that nothing went from with my warp, I look at my bed and decide to sleep since I am very tired right now from what happened in the past few hours. Laying on my bed that is now too big for me, I fall asleep the instant my bed touches the pillow.
