One could see a line formed by youth standing in front of a stone . None of them dared to say anything , after all this day would decide whether they would be able to leap from a carps pond into a dragons heaven .
Even though only a single person sat next to the stone , nobody dared to be disrespectful to the person . Since he is the one who decide whether the youths passed or not .
Accompanied by a group of soldiers to maintain order , the cloaked figure suddenly moved his hands causing a chair to appear . After sitting down a silence filled the place .
"All youths between 15 and 20 have to come here and test themself ! We will test whether you have a Special ability or the necessary amount of talent to be chosen ." shouted a serious looking soldier while looking at the line of youths .

"Name , age and family connections ." said the soldier as the first youth arrived in front of the stone .
"Hans , 19 and my family owns a blacksmith shop in town ." spoke the youth while trying to smile .
However the soldier only said : "Lay your Hand on the stone ."
Everyone could see how the cloaked figure drew his wooden sheet while noting something down .
Nervously the youth layed his hand on the stone , for a while nothing happened .Then a blue Number appeared : 47 .
This caused the youth to smile , the number is quite high . Will it mean that he will be chosen ?
Even the surrounding whispered in an exciting matter .
"Hahah , this Hans is quite handsome and will be a good son in law , how about marrying our Anna to him ?" whispered a woman to her husband .
Naturally this comment could be heard by everyone and caused a happy mood to appear .
Just as Hans believed that he would be chosen the soldier suddenly interrupted his daydream : "What else do you want ? If nothing then go away , we still need to check more than thousand people ."

Naturally , the figure didn't sat there for nothing , he noted down every single youth who appeared , sometimes he even signaled to the soldiers that the youth will be chosen .
However the amount was quite lean , only about 47 people got chosen . 12 because a red one appeared , the other 35 because the blue number reached more than 200 .
Everyone knew that the test would only arrive every 5 years and last for about a month . This test decided the future of the majority .
On the last day a "special" group arrived to test themself . People pointed at them and whispered . It is no wonder that people pointed at them , after all the group is part of the orphanage of the light church . Though it may sound holy and good at first , however most of them looked horrid . One with only the arm limbs , without any hands . One with only 2 fingers . One with a crippled leg .
To say it short , they were cripples born in this world . Since they were useless to the familys , most of them got tossed away or feed to the pigs .

However as soon as the children reaches the age of 20 , most of them get kicked out . As the church doesn't want to pay the cripple an amount of money , instead they take crippled children every year . It may sound a little bit harsh , however the church gets money from the kingdom so that they care about these children .
Naturally the ones kicked out would normally die . So the children who are able to think knows that especially this day is extrememly important to them .
One of them is called Mike , 16 year old . He always asked why is this world so unfair ? Why didn't he looked normal ? If he wouldn't looked so horrid , perhaps some parents would adopt him . But nobody answered him .
At first he blamed the world , after all he did nothing wrong . He only got born .
However he soon reached the conclusion that his only option is it to show great talent . After all there was a cripple who got a blue number of 140 . Since he only had a crippled arm the army welcomed him and now he's one of the patrolling captains of a city .
Arriving in front of the plaza with the stone test a few of the people pointed at them Especially on him , which is nothing new for Mike .
He didn't has any friends in this group of orphans . Neither in this group or in the orphanage at all .

However Mike ignored the gazes while following the cloaked figure .
The one responsible for the Church group gulped , not visible he hoped that the cripple won't seek for revenge .
Now the group of 48 people followed by the soldies marched out of town . While the other youths chatted about their future in an excited matter , all of them avoided the disgusting fellow who got chosen .

"Red means the amount of special abilitys you will get . Blue means the talent you have . However we take every red one since there may be amazing abilitys like Growing wings or shooting beams out of your eyes . Though there are useless abilitys like extrem fast teet growth . However i heard there exists some kind of mighty abilitys which needs you to have exactly this ability ." explained the leader while patting Mike on his back .
"Not only that , the lion kingdom will nuture every red one . However the blue people choosen will be filtered . They become knights like us or go to the army , the best will become royal soldiers ."
Overhearing the talk between Mike and soldier leader , many of the youths turned their heads in search of the people who got a red one in their evaluation .

"Not that i care . Listen up brats : Red ones with me , blue ones with this Robin here ."
Ignoring the suprised faces of the youths Robin , the leader-soldier , shouted : "Okay , seperate . Don't dare to cheat , we know whom of you is red and blue ."
Mike walked towards the man , however he could see the disgust as he received him . Coughing the man turned towards the other red ones while talking : "Congratulation to be a chosen one . Each of you has special abilitys which will reveal themselfs in the ceremony . However we won't expect you to give your ability to us . After all we are a kingdom ."
After talking the man lead the group towards a huge plaza , filled with youths .
Telling them to socialize the man turned and left the group .
Soon the group walked towards the next best group and started to chat , though Mike didn't walk with the group . Instead he tried to search cripples like him . Or at least digusting fellows like him .
Because of his birthmark stretching as well as his hunchback , many of the youths maked way .
Naturally they couldn't help themselfs and pointed at him while whispering .
"Maybe it would make a difference if i had beautiful clothes like them and not my gray pants and gray t-shirt ." thought Mike while walking on the plaza .
Though the time passed slow for Mike , it finally arrived . A Voice sounded through the entire Plaza : "On the left side the girls and one the right the boys ."
Not knowing where the right and left mentioned by the voice is Mike followed some youths clothed in expensive clothes .
Soon the boys stopped and Mike stopped as well . It felt crowded as the boys stood side to side , however around Mike a cirle of emptiness formed . Nobody wanted to be near him .
"Good , now the ceremony will begin . After that i hope you will form groups of maximum ten people per group . These will be your room mates for your entire school life . So i hope you will choose carefully ." spoke the voice .
Expecting something to happen Mike prepared himself . The youths around him prepared themself as well .
Suddenly Mike felt hot inside , a warm feeling spread throughout his entire body . Causing his body to sweat .

"I am not confident and .... " brabbeled Mike trying to sound real , however the old man continued to smile while saying : "Well , there are only a few people left on the plaza . How about finding a group with girls in it ? After all you can form groups with girls in it . I think it will make your school time much more fun ."
Not knowing how to reply Mike could only say : "I think i am not able to find a group like that . After all there are other boys who would like to join such a group as well , right ?"
