[System initializing 100%]
I felt my body hit the ground, but no impact came and I was left looking at the sky in a middle of some forest.

This was a lot to take in. I tried swiping my hand across the screen, but nothing happened.
"Status." With that it disappeared.
"Status." And it was back.
Perfect so I'm not hallucinating. I pinched myself.
Yeah, I feel it, nice. Either way I should regroup with others.
I stood up with some weariness in my step, all around me were trees a sea of them. Their crowns of leaves dense enough that they blocked the light from falling on the ground save for some small gaps.
While another crown of theirs stretched here on the ground. A crown of tangled roots, breaking out and into the ground in places. On them and in-between plants and flowers, there wasn’t a lot of them and was mostly made up of moss. With glowing golden flies sitting and buzzing around spots where it grew. They were a nice source of light in all this darkness.
"Hey! Is anyone here?!"
Only my shout echoed back as an answer.
Seeing no other way, I came to one tree and started climbing it.

On the horizon behind all the trees stood a city with the tower glistening in the starshine stretching all the way to the very sky.
I had a direction.
Before I did anything though I called out the system and looked at the possible Main classes.

So, Cleric requires me to have a God to believe in I suppose. It's not a far stretch to say that Gods probably do live here or someone passing as such.
That's a pass.
Don't know how that functions. I don't know anything about Gods and if they have emotions. If so, I'd then have to be respectful and what not.
At which I'm ba- very good, of course.
So that leaves Fighter and Mage. Close range and long range.
Fighter would make me beefier and better equipped to survive.
But magic...
Fighter will make me more able to use my scout skills.
But magic on the other hand...
With picking Fighter I can't fuck it up.
But magic on the other hand is motherfucking magical.

Mage lvl.1(0/1000)
+4 intelligence, +1 endurance, +1 strength, +1 dexterity, +1 luck
+ 1 skill point, +5 free stats
----
First of all, I assigned two points to endurance, bringing it up to 10 – even thought I chose a Mage that doesn’t change the fact of me wanting to survive- and the rest went to intelligence. As for my free skill point, I brought up a new panel in the corner of my vision titled 'skill tree'.
It was greyed out, everything except initial magicule theory glowing in the middle and only it could be read. All in all, there were 11 yet to be unlocked skills. There I got the option to click on any of them and basically get a random ability.
I just hope I don't get something that I'm already in process of unlocking. Like:
----
Basic Meditation: 20%
Magicule sensing: 56%
----
I put the skill point in and closed my eyes for a moment, praying I didn't choose wrong. Even before I opened my eyes to see what I got, a new knowledge got into my head.
I saw myself on a plain. All alone single-mindedly going over one and the same routine of feeling something. I felt as if I had practiced it hours upon hours.
----
Obtained knowledge: basic air magicules wielding
----
I opened my eyes and made a rune appear in my hand formed by air.
This was the only thing that appeared bizarre to me. As everything else was on how to attract and control the magicules.
Instead, a rune was supposed to be used in magic circles - that's as far as my knowledge on the rune went and the fact I can invoke it.
On magic circles I don't have any knowledge. So, I took the rune and activated it by pouring my mana into it. I pointed it downwards and a great wind burst forth rustling the leaves, startling the birds. Making them fly away into the distance. I watched them go and after a while decided I should go too.
Lest I end up playing with magic the whole day.
I made my way down and started walking through the forest. It got something to it.
The scent of fresh forest air that can be found in untouched nature. With every step, I took in the rustling of leaves.
And the fact I'm all alone. In a forest. Where it's completely silent and thanks to a faint fog I can see no further than a hundred meters.
But whatever, I'll enjoy what I can. For example, my magic.
I went walking, dagger in one hand while in the other spellbook ready.
If it weren't for my tattered outfit, I would say I look cool. Now I'm looking like a primal man instead.
But as if that matters.
"When there's not one living being here!" I shouted at the treetops which at least scared some birds into flying away.
I returned looking back into the forest where I found a silhouette getting clearer in the fog.
I didn't yet see it clearly, but I could read out a glowing text above it.
[Wolf lvl.4 Tier:F]
"A wolf?" It was approaching me. As it was no longer shrouded by fog, I could see it nice and clear. It didn't look to be in a good condition.
Fresh wounds covered its whole body and a scar across one eye. Probably lost a fight and was forced to become a lone wolf.
"We're both wounded. You see why don't we just go our own separate ways?"
As a response it growled at me and started approaching quicker.
"You wanted this." I cast a [fireball] from the spellbook at it. Which it dodged by zig zagging on the way.
Like so he got close enough to leap at me. I was then casting [spark].
He threw me to the ground as I extended my hand and the [spark] landed right on him.
---
Wolf lvl.4 F hit, gained [sligh paralisys]
---
He was convulsing on me. Trying to bite my face off, but I was defending myself with my dagger.
Meanwhile my other hand was already forming the air rune.
He overpowered me - because of my wounds - and bit into my shoulder. Yet it was as far as it would go.
I placed the rune on him and activated it. No more than a moment later I felt the jaw relax and become loose.

Wolf F lvl.4 slain
+400 EXP
---
I rolled the mut off me and tied a rudimentary bandage - from my clothes - on my shoulder. Just enough to keep me going.
"Why can't everything go well and I must be the little red hood being attacked by the big bad wolf?" I stood up from the ground and got back on my way. As for the wolf I cut off some meat strips off from him so at least some good will come from him.
I'm still not sure about eating any meat, but if I'll have to I will.
Walking further and further into the forest I started hearing the slow flowing of water from in front. After walking towards it I found a river.
Now I had two choices, either continue on my path and cross the river or go along it. Which should take me to some settlement on the way.
It can be a village or a small town, along the way in the distance will be the city I saw. But right now, I'll take anything if there's no Delusional One there.
The smaller the settlement the better.
***
I was well on my way some three, four maybe more hours – It’s hard to tell with the seemingly ever-present dark. I was walking along the side of the river, observant of my surroundings. When I heard barking from behind me.
Turning around I found a pack of wolves running alongside the shore towards me. There was five of them all in all.
---
Wolf lvl.3 F
---
That’s what they had floating over their heads, but one of them had different. He was bigger than the others with a black fur unlike the usual grey.
---
Black Wolf lvl.5 E
---
He looked to be their Boss.
"Hey, I don't know what you want with me, but the last time it was in self-defence. I'm sorry if you knew him. I really am." I ran as fast as I could. In other words, I wasn't running fast enough and the wolves were getting closer and closer.
"Fuck you all."
I jumped into the river as I saw no other way and besides my legs were hurting. I still haven't had a time to recuperate, yet I'm out here getting new wounds.
At least this way the wolves can't get to me.
"You're not so smug now, are you?” I said while floating away as they were chasing me. “You all have the absolute power to do dog shit. You stupid mutts."
The Boss didn't seem to want to let me go, it seemed as he forced one of its underlings in the water.
To which I can only say sorry, but people are still better in water than dogs. So, I went ahead and stabbed the second poor mutt of the day. It happened right as he swam to me, just a quick hit to the neck.
The notification popped up and I ignored it. I instead focused on the wolves. They all went into the water except the Boss that stayed on shore.
As they got into the water, they only then realised how much of a disadvantage they got.
They were swimming to the other shore which gave me a perfect opportunity to swim up to the last one and take it out from behind.
It stood as it squeezed in my arms. It didn't even get a chance to turn around and bite me. Still, it took some time and the wolves got away in that time.
That left the Boss on one side and the two wolves on the other.
But that stopped being my main problem as I started hearing rumbling from behind me.
Behind me, no more than twenty meters was the end of the river and a start of a waterfall. Fuck.
"Mind giving me a helping hand- paw?" I said as I swam towards the shore with the two wolves.
It was answered back by barking and growling.
As I got to the shallow shore both of them rushed at me and gnawed at me. At which I stopped swimming and started trying to get off me.
"Stupid mutts!!!” I tried swimming away, ignoring them. Yet the waterfall was far too close for me now to do anything. “We'll all die!"
I couldn't get them off me in time and we went down with the water. All in the calm eyes of their Boss.
