In the past, there was once a monster clad in dark armor. He killed thousands, and have done it for more than a hundred years. A hero rose to stop him, but even a hero was not enough. The hero repeatedly challenged him, but although he won every time, he spared the hero's life.
At the cost of a thousand soldiers and a magical beast, the hero managed to land a fatal blow on him. On his last leg, he told the reason behind his actions.
Everyone he killed has sinned and not one of his victim was innocent. He clad himself in a powerful armor to kill those blinded by greed, but his power came with a curse. He could never tell anyone his reason, nor let anyone understand it.
He can only continue his ideals if he was the only one who knew it. Because of it, he gained enemies, but he never gained allies.
In the end, he only did what he thought was right, even if it was not the best way to go, and even if the world hated him.
On his final breath, he finally took of the helmet that stayed on his head for more than a hundred years. What lies under the helmet surprised the hero, for the dark knight was not a he but a she. She was a beauty comparable to a goddess, but her beauty didn’t last for her body was turning into dust.

She knew killing was bad even if the ones she killed were evil, so she was prepared to die. She didn’t regret what she has done but now that she’s dying, all she could hope for was that the hero could achieve what she couldn’t. To truly create a peaceful world, without anyone suffering in the shadows.
Shortly after her death, the world fell into chaos, not because of another monster but because the kingdoms declared war against themselves. What the hero thought was the end was actually the beginning, the beginning of chaos caused by killing the only one who preserved peace by herself.
Now the hero has to bring peace to the world, will he go down the same path of the dark knight? Or will he find a different path?
