Prologue
A four legged behemoth walks silently through the forest, large frame and white fur discouraging any animal from approaching. The vicious teeth leaving globs of saliva, that become one with the ground.
The alpha wolf’s nose perked slightly.
It picked up on the scent of food.
Eyes glinting with a savage coldness as the paws spring against the dirt floor, leaving a trail of freshly dug up dirt.
A white streak almost indistinguishable between the falling snow, flashed through the forest trees. Winds began to wail, as torrents upheaved leaves from the dirt. The surroundings changed with every passing of the white wolf.
The White had descended the mountain forestry, into an unfortunate village.
“50 coppers for a freshly skinned fox pelt!”
“40 coppers!”
“30 coppers, plus rabbit meat”
Obnoxious voices of the human population tarnished the wolf’s ears, as it himself continued to proceed to that village, without any fear of danger.
Wood choppers and gatherers that found their wage outside the meager village walls, stood frozen in fear from the presence of the monster that came charging towards them.
The animal too large for them to comprehend, it was not the monthly elk that they hunt. Nor is it the usual wolf that reaches the kneecaps of the larger adults, but…
This beast reached the hips, and was as wide as a door!
“WOLF!”
A child started shouting, frantically raising her small voice each time she glanced at the wolf.
But suddenly, her ghastly screams penetrated the villager’s ears no more.
The beast was already among them.
After skewering the little girl with a swipe of it’s sharp talon-like paws, he looked longingly at the meat that laid itself unmoving before him.
The White was not like a usual wolf who hunts small, but a veteran of great slaughter and the cause of countless homes being destroyed.
“Everyone-” A person too naive and foolish, tried to calm the villagers with his back turned against an apex predator.
The man got the quick death that he wished for.
Not long before the sun would start to fall, the village had started to become almost-silent, where only hoarse breathing of the still living could be heard. The villager’s deaths were captured by the savage eyes of the white beast, as he took a satisfied glance around him.
Bodies lay sprawled on the crimson death bed, surrounding the white monster from all sides.
The beast himself, an axe protruding from his broad back and sharp sticks glittering his body in whole.
But as an animal of nature who struggled for survival, the numbness to pain came naturally.
As he raised his head from the treasure surrounding him, an arrow soared through the air. A glint of sadness, regret and guilt flas--

“It really was a good idea to wait it out”
A battle-hardened man trudged out of a hut with a silver crossbow in hand.
“I have been waiting for seven good years for this. Ever since you killed my hope, love, future...I have been dreaming of this day, but on this journey for vengeance I noticed one thing...you were not lucky to have been born on the same world as us. But as the cycle of life goes, may you rest peacefully in hell…” He slowly massaged his teary eyes with his finger as he looked at the dying wolf’s last moments.
A pained growl escaped from the massive fur, before its feet buckled and it fell to the floor.
A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.
Crossbow bolt stuck out from the wolf’s head.

Everything turned a beautiful pitch black, a clear black without impurities. The wolf felt refreshed, as his endless hunger and thirst quenched at last.
The darkness started to crack as light made its way in through the crevices, eventually the darkness dissipated in the same manner frost vanishes from a leaf if moved.
The different light that appeared, blinded the wolf for a few moments.
But seemingly the wolf was unalarmed and not in a state of distress or fright, but in a strange state of calmness. As if the sudden change did not surprise him at all.
“Welcome to the reincarnation centre ZX1. I must congratulate you for being extremely lucky to have gotten this station. Since only a single soul is usually granted to be placed-back from this centre once every billion years, so it’s almost impossible to enter this centre since the benefit is keeping memories from your pr..evious...life?”
A flat tone spoke from an unknown direction, but almost sounded off like it had spoken from inside his own mind.
“A beast soul?”
The place surrounding White cracked open, as if accompanying the astonished voice, once again revealing the perfect pitch-black darkness underneath the light. However, the light slowly rejoined to shut out the darkness almost like a spider fixing its web.
“I’ll give this puppy a little test, be prepared.”
Slowly a wavy stream of blue colour appeared in front of White and entered him, it joined slightly before jolting outside of him and back into the timeless space and disappearing.
“Hoho...I know exactly the place to put you in, and going by your savage nature, this should be fairly interesting. Or it might be extremely boring...” The voice cut off, seemingly in thought before continuing:
“It seems you are just a regular beast, unintelligent and the silent type, nothing to be cautious of. So during this life, you should learn how to speak and gain some intelligence of your own.”
As the voice gradually disappeared, White’s form; a floating mist of grey, began to shrink in size rapidly.
“Have fun and good luck, may this time you be successful in finding your true path and meaning in life.”
Then the floating grey mist became almost nonexistent, but not before something extraordinary happened.
“B...ye”
An old and ancient voice resounded across the emptiness, in an almost tyrannical manner. A sudden gasp escaped the mouth of the monotonous speaker.
White had said a word; spoken not in a growl and nor by using his teeth to get his point across. But by connecting the dots of his past life; the sights of humans opening their mouths and high pitched noises coming out. White had remembered all of it clearly, how could he not.
The female mother opened her jaw whilst staring intently at the offspring, her farewell brought about an unparallelled atmosphere of sadness. “Bye, my dear one”.
And then, White was gone from that white sphere of space.
A faint streak of blue appeared in the center of where White was previously situated. Slowing to a halt, the blue streak stopped and transformed into a transparent image of a woman of great beauty.
The lips parted where the tongue swirled across the tips of her teeth, her face revealed a relaxed manner.
“Thankfully, he was sent into that world”
