The value of the Grimoire World of a Grimoire Master is clear to Sigil.
He knew that if he was given some time to utilise the inheritance of the Inverse Witch, then he would've been able to increase his cultivation at a breathtaking pace.
But now, he was forced to abandon the whole Grimoire World, which caused its destruction.
In the end, he only gained highly valuable monster familiars and top notch cultivation materials. But these things could not be used at the moment.
Now, a blood wolf had brought him hope of acquiring another inheritance of a Grimoire Master.
Even though he did not understand the true value of the Blood Fur Wolfcub, he knew that this could definitely be his leverage over Ricardo.
Even if this familiar did not bring him a direct advantage, he could surely force out some benefits from Ricardo.
He looked at the Silver Fang Wolf looking at him with expectant eyes and nodded smoothly without any change in his expression.
"Lord Silver Fang is the ancestral familiar of the family. How can this junior disobey your advice? I will definitely tame this Blood Fur Wolf!"
Sigil nodded and looked towards the Blood Fur Wolf cub with a smile.
Understanding Sigil's response, the Silver Fang Wolf looked at the small wolf cub and snorted gently before turning around and walking away with its head held high.
Seeing such an outcome, John's eyes twitched.
"He just used your reputation and made you the sole bearer of the responsibility of breaking the old rule and you can still feel pride in your decisions?"
John couldn't help but think bitterly.
Before any Elder could speak again, Sigil bowed in front of the whole crowd and spoke out loud.
"I apologise for breaking the old rule of the family. But as the saying goes, Rules are dead and people are alive. The Elders of the Grey Family are bold and magnanimous. I hope that the Elders won't hold it in their hearts."
Previously, Ricardo's statement put John in an extremely passive position, giving the opposing Elders a chance to suppress him.
But now, Sigil's reversal put the Elders in an extremely embarrassing position.
If they continued to argue about old rules and tried to suppress John, then they won't look 'bold and magnanimous' in front of the younger generation.
This outcome is pretty harmful to their reputation and their future development in the family.
Think about it.
If a youth with a passionate hearts know about this situation where a group of Elders tried to argue for a small Familiar belonging to the younger generation, he will think that this kind of Elders aren't worth his loyalty and they will definitely move away from them.
But, the situation didn't seem too easy for them. Sigil's words were thought carefully and the inner complications were extremely vicious.
If they don't let go, they look petty in front of the younger generation.

But what if they let go and allow Sigil to keep the Blood Fur Wolf?
They will look weak in front of their peers. In future, they will be mocked behind their backs and if they ever need to co-operate with each other, this group of Elders will receive a shorter end of the stick.
Silence
None of them spoke because they didn't know the right thing to speak.
If their response didn't overcome their current predicament, the Elders felt that their value in the eyes of the Supreme Elder will fall to the bottom.
After all, they all will be defeated by a kid in a battle of wits and politics.
They immediately started to think of various solutions to counter this response in an effective manner.
But before they could speak, a peal of melodious laughter emerged in the silent field.
"Haha, Junior Sigil has spoken correctly. Rules are dead and people are alive. We, Elders, have always supported the decisions of our Ancestors. Even if we are asked to break a millennium old rule, so what?"
It was Linda!
The young brunette was wearing a black combat t-shirt alongside a pair of blue denims. Her hair was tied into a high ponytail and her beautiful face smiled at Sigil.
These words left no alternative for the group of opposing Elders.
"Oh? Linda is a talent, too. She easily implied that going against the words of the ancestral familiar is a sin in itself."
Sigil's gaze brightened as he nodded and smiled at Linda's statement.
Seeing that the tension in the surrounding was getting higher, John clapped and smiled.
"Alright, Sigil is fortunate enough to gain the ancestral familiar's favour. Anyway, we will be continuing the selection of Familiars. All the Elite Familiars have been chosen and we will start with the free selections."
"All the juniors with all of their Eight Gates opened will search for an appropriate familiar for themselves alongside their partners."
John's words immediately changed the tides of conversation and all the youths were very excited and immediately forgot the previous aggression.
Alicia and the other three elites of the younger generation had already selected their own Familiars and other Eight Gates Experts of the family felt their blood boiling at the prospect of selecting another familiar this year.
The Grey family bred a large number of monster familiars every year. Of course, not all of the familiars have high potential and they become the main source of the income for the family.
To motivate the younger generation for continuing their contribution to the family, they are given a chance to select a monster familiar for their own.
Even though these monster Familiar's potential cannot be used completely, these familiars can be sold separately and the younger generation can earn their own side profits to help with their cultivation.
Anyway, the loss of dozens of Familiars doesn't put a big dent in the Family's pockets.
Immediately, 19 youths stepped out as they brought their partners with them.
"Will you be waiting here?"
Sigil asked Alicia as he prepared to move out with Martha.
"Hmm? No, I have to tame this little thing. I will meet you at dinner."
Alicia spoke as she pointed at the Golden Monkey in attached to her thighs.
Seeing this monkey, Sigil couldn't help but sigh in bitterness.
One look at the monkey grabbing Alicia's 'oh so thick' thighs and he understood that this fellow was an existence of culture.
But even then, Sigil felt like hitting its face that kept on squinting in pleasure and rubbed its face on her upper legs.
"You want me to help?" Sigil crackled his knuckles near the Monkey's ears and flashed him an ugly smile.
"Don't be silly. It's just a kid." Alicia tapped Sigil's nose.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll meet you at dinner time."
Alicia nodded and walked away with the Golden Monkey forcibly removed from her thighs.
"Ready?" Sigil walked near Martha and whispered.
"Yeah! I had to sell my previous Familiar. But now, I need to choose an appropriate one for the future cultivation." Martha nodded seriously.
"Hoho, so serious. What happened to that lazy sloth named Martha?" Sigil chuckled and picked up the Blood Fur Wolf cub stuck near his legs.
"Hmm? Her? She will emerge once I return to my room."
Martha stretched her neck out with pride and replied. She then looked at the small wolf that looked more like a puppy and couldn't help but rub its head.
"But you really got it lucky! That Silver Monkey and now this cute guy."
Martha pointed at the Silver Monkey hanging around Sigil's neck and then looked at the Blood Fur Wolf.
Thinking of the Ghost Chimp slinging on his neck, his face couldn't help but show helplessness.
Even though it was already tamed, the Ghost Chimp had an unruly and an adventurous personality. This couldn't be changed by anyone.
"Well, there are still five minutes before we enter the Garden. Let me just place these two fellows in my room real quick."
With his physical capabilities, it wasn't hard to reach his room in one or two minutes.
Martha nodded and stood among other girls and started chatting with them for the time being.
