Infinte Ocean Ch 14
The lady clerk lead us to a private table before leaving the room. The Old man have the air of wisdom as I look at him carefully.
"Hello dear Customer, I am Hans Diamante, the owner of this weaponshop. It is nice to meet you, can I ask the reason why you want you talk to me." Hans asked with his hoarse voice
"Its nice to meet you too Sir Hans, I am Sam Smithson. I actually asked for your audience to talk some important things." I respectfully said as I bow my head
"Important you say? So tell me, what is that important thing you want to talk about." Hans said with his interest clear on his voice and mannerism
"Does your store craft all the weapons being sold here?" I asked in which he amswered yes. "Great, I want to buy some weapons and ores from you sir. You see, I am starting a trading company so I want to acquire some goods which I can sell to other places. I already have a NBC so I just need the goods to start, ofcourse I am going to pay you with appropriate compemsation." I proposed as I study how he reacts
"So you have an NBC, can I see it?" Hans asked which I immediately showed. "Okay then, I can give you a 8% discount since it might be a huge deal. I can sell you the ores for a price slightly higher than when I get it, don't worry I am an honest guy." he said with a grin "By the way, are you related to David Smithson?" He followed up in which I nod
"Hahaha, what a small world. How is your grandpa doing?" He asked with a happy expression.
"He's already dead Sir. He died in the hands of a Pirate." I said in a gloomy tone
"So that old man died huh. I guess that it was inevitable but it is still a shame that a good friend of mine is dead. Okay then boy, I will offer you a 12% discount and I will sell the ores to you for the same price I got it. Treat it as a friendly gesture from me to your grandpa. He and I were drinking buddies back in the day and we even have competitions in smithing." Hans said with a sigh
I accepted the offer and we signed a deal. I told him what I want to purchase and he gave me an estimate. All the goods that I pointed out totaled into 282,490 Gold and 70 Silver Coins. The Transaction was clear so it was scheduled to be delivered to our ship in about 4 day tops.
"You bought quite the number of ores Sam. Are you planning on smithing like your forefathers?" Hans asked as we look at the items that can be delivered to the ship now.
"I am certainly planning to smith when I am in the voyage. However, I will be leaving some to be sold at other market. You never know. It might be rare or not even present in the place that I will land on." I said with a grin
"So let me repeat the ores that you want. You want Copper, Lead, Iron, Aluminum, Blue Iron, Tin, Violet Copper, Scarletite, Gold, Silver, Icesteel, Electrum, Steel, and Brass ores." Hans said as he looks at the long list of orders that I ordered.
"Yes, that is correct. By the way, do you know anyone selling large amounts of soil and other forest related things?" I asked after I affirmed my order
"I actually know someone who can sell you those things. If you head to the farthest end of the City where there is a lot of vegetation, you will see a huge wooden cabin. A Druid named Elm lives in that area, which sells soil and seeds cheaply in the name of spreading the blessings of his God. He is quite the Zealot but he is actually a kind person. He travels from time but I heard rumors that he is planning to settle down. Tell him that I sent you and he will treat you fairly." Hans said as he rubs his white beard

After I head back to the ship together with the transporters of the ores and weapons, I practiced grasping mana again but ultimately failed.
Like yesterday Master Nix and Yun were talking all day long again. I heard in one of their conversations about how mana is like this while Master Yun will listen carefully and retort back after Master Nix finish her explanation. They were having a calm debate which was a weird sight to see since they are arguing but not being exageratted.
"I see that you finished meditating. How did grasping the mana go?" Master Nix asked as I arrived at the dinig hall carrying the black phoenix egg
"It was still like yesterday. I can feel it, but grasping it was hard. However I am starting to get the hang of it and I feel aome threads in my fingers." I said happily as I literally felt like I was tounching a thread earlier when I was meditating
"That's a good news then. I can see that your perception of mana is starting to develop. I can also feel that your Mentak Energy grew. Overall, good job and keep it up." Master said with a smile on her face
The next day I headed back to the Marine Outpost early to see Rain or Jess. The two veil wearing elves immediately sawe and rushed to my sides.
"So what did you came here for?" Rain asked in a polite tone
"What I want to know is what powers does the Orcs have and what powers do you elves wield." I asked since it is crucial if I am going to fight for the elves.
Knowing the opponents weaknesses and knowing one's weaknesses can lead to a victory. I realized it when I was planning my revenge on Greg.
"We Elves use a system of magic different from the magicians at the Magic Federation. There are all kind of elves and we are situated as Wind Elves. We use the Elven language as a meduim to communicate and command mana. All Elves in the Infinite Ocean came from World Trees. They were created to protect it and it granted us different elvish languages. From what my Mother told me, all elves have a similar but unique Elf language that are used to create spells." Jess explained as we took a seat at one of the empty tables
"We Elves normally are all lean and have a beautiful physique. We were blessed by the Woeld Tree so we move and act in harmony." Rain said in a prideful voice
"Orcs on the otherhand are Pig headed brutes who have freakish body. They are mostly fat but there are some that have solid body. They do not have any magic but they have strong vitality. The only reason that we kept on losing against them is due to their fast reproductive ability and the peacefulness of our race. They have low intelligence but they grow into adult really fast and consume way more food than they can procure. They attacked us to take our lands and resources. The only thing that they can do is fight and drink their mead. However it changed when they enslaved an elf. They start to hunt us down and eat the males and children while they violate the females." Rain said with disgust and anger as she grips her fist hard
"So they are stupid beings who only values food and sex. They have endless apetite but they don't farm or anything and destroys everthing." I clarified in which they nod
"Okay then I know that it might sound underhanded but I am going to be poisoning them. You said that they drink mead right? Do they highly value mead?" I asked as I explain the start of my plan
"They highly value mead. I heard that the protect it with thier lives and they kill each other for it. It is one of the most heavily guarded things that they protect second to their slaves." Jess affirmed
"Who cares if its heavily guarded, I am giving it to them for free. Poisoning them is only the preliminary step of my plan. After poisoning was ineffective, I will start to bomb them. They are quite stupid right? So I am pretty sure that they do not use metalic weapons and gun powder. I will need the fastest elved to spread a lot of gunpowder in their dens before igniting it. After they became more vigilant, only then will we be cofronting them head on." I explained as I summon a paper and write the temporary plan that I have in mind.
"Poisoning them won't work, Sam. We already tried it but we failed miserably. They have a stomach that can digest anything, they even eat wood sometimes." Jess said in a helpless tone
"Okay then, so no poisoning. I will just be killing them sneakily in a way that they do not notice it right away. I have confidence in my sneaking ability so I believe that I can accomplish that." I said as I pat my chest proudly
We started formulating some more feasable ideas but was left empty handed. They still have a job so they left immediately. With nothing left to do, I went ahead and head to the Druid that is situated at the farthest end of the city.
