Maybe for the ninth time, Albert rolled his eyes at the incredulity of the words his sister was spewing out. He readied his hand for a flick right at the ear of Alice, and striked it with all his might.
"-and he didn't even- OUCH!? What the hell, Al?! That really hurt!" The blonde girl gave a stink eye at him as she rubbed her ear. Albert just scoffed and flicked her once more, this time right on the forehead.
"That was nothing, squirt. Also, what did I hear about you beating up an upperclassman of yours? You said you hit him where?" Albert returned the stink eye as he listed her reasons for getting sent to the principals office. Alice just averted her eyes and coughed into her fist, voice slightly cracking as she tried talking again.
"I-I didn't hurt him that much! And it was for self-defence!"
"Hmm... He didn't even stand a chance did he?" Albert asked his sister with a raised eyebrow.
"Of course he didn- I mean no! I didn't mean it like that! Ugh, you're a jerk!" Alice tried to hit him with no effect whatsoever. Albert just laughed out loud as he lead his sister into a cafe at the street.
After taking their seats and ordering come drinks, Alice went on about how she completely decimated the fight and how the older boy cried. Albert gave a few snide remarks here and there, but as he was listening to his sister's rambling his thoughts went over to his current situation.
His full name was Albert Ramoz Moore, his middle name came from his Spanish grandfather he scarcely remembered, before he had passed. While his parents and sister lived at Austin, Texas; his home was on Houston, the biggest city in their home state. Because of the big distance between homes, along with Albert's duties at his college, he could only find time to visit his family once or twice a month. Thus, whenever he was around, he and his sister made it a tradition to go out and drink something in this exact cafe. The drinks were refreshing, and while Albert would never admit it outloud, the waiteress working here was also pretty cute.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
His parents were starting to bother him about finding a girlfriend too, so yeah, he would kill two birds with one stone. But this was not something he should be thinking about right now, since he was here for his sister.
For two hours the two siblings did nothing but talk, about how the last month went or if there was any interesting rumors going around. Albert talked about how his school was going, or how he and his friends group went to kareoke regularly, even if none of them could properly sing... It was a nice day for both of them, and as they walked to their home, while savoring their ice-creams, both were happy about how their lives were turning up to be.

Albert's vision slowly returned to himself, and the first thing he saw upon his new life, was his new mother/father/parent/God smiling towards him with utmost love and care.
"Hello, my children."
