Different realms, different beliefs.  Due to her Arcanean heritage, Neunis was born with an unbreakable curse and misfortune for the rest of her life. Her own blood wanted nothing but to end her or worse, to eviscerate her. They believed these "Arcanea" creatures to be heavenly and upright, but they were mistaken; they were the exact reverse of what humans believed them to be. The Arcanean were filled with hatred after learning of a girl who shared a bloodline but wasn't pure, and they could think of nothing except to pray for her horrific demise. Amaranthine, a purple wire, had stepped in to help Neunis. The wires was Arcanea's opposing enemy, and after knowing about their intention, they partnered with the human to bring down Arcanea and gain power over the oversees. Neunis was completely unaware of Amaranthine offering help. At the time, Neunis considered anything and everyone a hostile. But, it isn't going to be that easy, with the mercenaries watching over the deity's called 'Wires'.
