Will I Too, See the Sun?
Chapter 2: Mirror

Chapter 2: Mirror

Who do you see when you lay eyes on that reflective glass?

Does your quick glance find solitude in a familiar face? Or does your heart stutter when met with a gaze unfamiliar to your own?

There is a home within every castle of glass we title our reflection. Something so powerful and yet undeniably fragile. An image of self projected onto a canvas for outsider judgment.

I too pass on words of great description. Though, it feels wrong to have such strong opinions in this regard. For the man on the wall looks unrecognizable. Not a memory or finger could be placed. His eyes, smile, even hair, all hang heavier than mine.

I never knew it possible to hate a stranger, until now.
