Oh god, a plain again! With nothing around this time, like a big vast grassland of nothing but boredom.
I wanted to at least have a village, or some water nearby, in order to wash all of… this. Looking down on myself, it’s really a mess, I should probably look out for some clothes too. Those ones are beyond anything, they were almost white at first, but now they’re completely red.
I kinda look like little red Ridinghood, well, more like its crazy psychopath version, and without the hood. It's weird, I'm sort of fine about what happen, but I also regret it at the same time. It was as if another part of myself took the control, and let loose of all the inner anger I kept in myself since the purge.
Anyway, I have to wash myself, but there is no sign of life whatsoever in the perimeter.
Oh, wait, someone's approaching… An old man wearing a flashy purple robe, he seems kinda lost. Is he looking for something?
He spotted me! 'must have a good view, cause he’s pretty far away.
“Bonjour, young lady.”
Or not… did he teleport? Shit, I didn't see anything!
“He-hello?”
He wasn't hostile, but I still kept my distance.
"Do not worry at all, I do not wish to arm you. Well, in a sense maybe… See, my mother personally asked, well, commanded me to help you."
“Your… mother?”
God, the guy is at least 70 years old, and his mother's still alive?
"I know, I'm an old boy, but opposite to me, she managed to keep her young appearance throughout the age. I believed you encountered her recently."
“What? Kunan is your mother?!”
“C’est exact.”
“She’s not even 25!”
"Non, she only looks in her twenties… anyway, I was "asked" to help you pass this struggle."
“Kunan asked you?”
"Well, two person asked me, but it's not relevant. They both said to be quick, and we lost already too much time into chit-chat."
“You were the one that…”
He clapped his hand, and out of thin air, a creature started to form itself into reality. It was… a wolf.
A regularly sized wolf. I have to say I was excited for an instant but… I guess his silver fur is kinda pretty, so that's something.
I wonder what is the point of… I immediately jumped to the side, a split second later, the wolf pierced the empty space I had just left out.
So fast! I rolled down and faced the creature, that was rumbling at me.
"Careful, silver wolves are fast and extremely strong compared to what they look like."
“Couldn’t you said that earlier?! And why do I have to - SHIT!”
I bend myself down to let the wolf past on top of me, but this time he didn't wait for the next assault. I was too late to dodge, so I tried to guard with my arm.
He bites my forearm.
That hurts!
You motherfucking dog!
I punched him with my free arm, with all my might, but he dodges it instantly.
How did he… it’s like he got an impulsion in the middle of the air!
"Oh! I forgot to mention, their ability allows them to create an air platform to jump on."
"Why the fucking fuck didn't you fucking told me that sooner, you're fucking useless!"

"Sigh... youngsters are so vulgaire nowadays..."
The assault continued. As I was getting used to his charges -a bit- I managed to deflect his attack, but I got a scratch on my arm.
The wounds were healing fast, but with this kind of speed, he could easily hurt me faster than I heal. I need to go on the offensive!
I threw a huge fireball toward the wolf, but he evaded it easily by moving sideways. I tried to intercept him as he jumped towards me, but he dodged my round kick by "air-jumping" toward the ground.
He bit my legs and jumped back as I tried to stomp him.
Shit! He almost took my leg off.
He's too fast, I need to accelerate.
He assaulted me once again, this time I jumped up to dodge, and he immediately followed after me.
I twisted my body in mid-air, and evaded with just a cut on my back, but of course, his momentum stopped instantly 2 meters above the ground.
Surely, he was about to bounce back at me, and as I'm free falling, I have no way to avoid the assault.
You don't know me, wolfy.
He propelled himself towards me, and using a newly familiar technique, I jumped out of the way while still being 1 meters above the ground.
After an elegant back flip, I landed on the ground, and strategically started to retreat, using the beast confusion to my advantage.
However, he promptly recovered his focus and started pursuing me again.
I have to take this gamble, I stopped running and faced the animal, this is my best bet.
“What a bold young lady.”
The wolf threw himself at me.
To my eyes he almost disappeared.
I moved slightly to my left side.
I saw his jaw about to close on my right arm.
But he stopped.
His whole body froze, in mid-air.
I won my bet. I was exactly in front of the Old conjurer, he would have gotten hurt by this attack, and therefore had to stop the assault.
I'm such a genius.
It was a close call though.
I only learned one bladeless form, and it needs at least a second of preparation, but in this situation, it's exactly what I need. I took the opportunity, and beheaded the wolf.
Phew… for one second I thought my arm was a goner…
“I have to say, young people are resourceful.”
“Why the fuck did you do that!”
“I already told you, to help you progress.”
“…in my book you just tried to murder me…”
“Haha, little Haru said that too. The truth is…”
"Haru? You mean… a little Asian girl who smiles all the time?"
“Oui, you should know each other already.”
“Yeah! No shit I know her!”
Haru is somewhere in this world? That’s major news!
“Are the others here too?”
“Please, calm down… As much as I want to help the next generation, I already told you I don’t have much time.”
“Why do you all say that?!”
“Because it’s true, and look, your next destination has already appeared.”
He pointed at something behind me, far in the horizon. I focus my eyesight, and finally, I managed to distinguish some sort of structure. It's really far, like several kilometres, and here I thought I had a good eyesight.
"Don't change the subject, are the oth..."
I went back to the geezer, but he was already gone. As if he wasn’t even here in the first place.
I can't really say it surprises me. This guy was odd to begin with, but still, that was a dicky move.
This whole shitty adventure is making me crazy, I can’t keep up with all the weird shit happening. In fact, I might as well stop right now.
There are too many things I have no clue about, like how the heck did he know the door would appear?!
Thinking about it, I looked towards the horizon.
What if… he was here too.
Sigh… I don’t really have a choice now, do I?
