Entry 2

We readied the horses and bulls after packing everything up. Our carriage is filled to the brim with nothing but clothes, food, and people. Mainly my wife and three kids. I put the yoke onto the bulls and had my two sons get onto the horses with their guns. I am still worried about this trip, and I don’t want to leave this house just yet. My father left it to me after he had passed away, and it was heartbreaking when we had to sell it to even have a chance of living in the west. My wife is very adventurous, which is something I love about her, but I don’t like making decisions like these so lightly. I still love her with my whole being, but I can’t support the decision to justify it for myself. But I was spoken over. My kids agreed with my wife and practically forced me out the door so I could be ready to move. My gut and I don’t like this change. It feels like something is going to go wrong, but I can’t change my family’s opinion so easily. I just hope we are making the right decision.
