“What the heck is this?!” I was surprised as I looked at the supposed-to-be-classroom with wide eyes. The class was huge. It looked like a lecture hall with a stage in front of the class. The desk was connected in an arc on tiered platforms. The chairs were also connected to the desk. There were two dividers between the rows of desks which looked to be stairs leading all the way to the top most seats.
At the seating area, I saw all my classmates with serious face looking at me. Each of them, had one fairy floating or standing on their shoulder. Shishou was also sitting there with downcast face, also with a fairy which looked to be a female fairy, floating near her. Even though our class consisted of 36 students, but the sitting area still looked half empty. I estimated that the max capacity was probably around a hundred or more.
On the small stage, I saw a middle aged man donning a suit with slick combed hair and 19’s styled moustache. “Ah, Harry Mills and Ember Agarictree, you’re late. Please take a seat with your party.” The principal called out. I immediately sat down next to Ari who was saving the seat for me. His fairy was a female fairy which also looked cute like him.
“Ho-ho, now that everyone is here, let’s start the lecture.” It was basically a history class like what Ember explained early in the morning but with more detail. It took him 2 hours to explain the history.
After the second time listening to this untold and forgotten history, I really think that the human emperor was quite a badass. He literally threw a large scale atomic bomb on a a city of the top world power at that time knowing that the human would be in pinch.
Despite that, the Principal emphasised that no one really knew how the dragon lost the war. Even if the human emperor have powerful spell, that was not enough to fend of the dragons attack. The dragons have high affinity to magic and have powerful physical strength. He also described the dragon race look almost similar to human but their most obvious traits was their golden pupil snake like eyes and golden hair.
They also have unique ability for their own race, which was the metamorphosis ability that changed their body into a huge lizard-like body with bat-like wings that can breath out magic such as the famous fire breath, a real fantasy dragon indeed.
Many contractors throughout the history claim that the human emperor’s strategist played a huge role and also there was rumour of a secret weapon that was used to fend off the dragons attack. No one really knew since it was fabricated constantly through those 10 000 years. Some contractors also thought that the reason the other races surrender unconditionally, was because of the fear of the unknown weapon.
As for the human emperor’s descendant, no information was found. The same goes for the strategist descendant. So, the other races were trapped inside the mirror world because the absolute rules can only be abolished by the human-emperor’s descendant and the strategist descendant.
Then he explained the current situation, the first atomic bomb drop in Hiroshima and the second in Nagasaki caused fluctuations between the three worlds which results in holes between the worlds opening. Mana itself was in disarray. The high elf and dark elf starts to rebel against the absolute rules. The demons on the other hand took this chance to enter the real world and attacking humans. In the end, the World Order collaborated with the fairies to send contractors to the mirror world on numerous mission to solve this problems. Although humans weren’t allowed in the mirror world, but the fairies had to ask for assistance from the humans.
“That is all I got to say. I might have left some parts. Some of you might already know from your fairies but you can ask me question now.” the Principal said and stared at us.
I stood up and asked “Why us? There are many others who want to save the world. We are still students, how do you expect us to solve a world crisis?” the rest of the class started to become noisy as they were also thinking the same thing.
“Ho-ho, good question my boy. Do you not want to save the world, boy?” he said while pinching the tip of his moustache.
I clicked my tongue and said “Tsk, you’re getting on my nerve old man, stop calling me a boy and answer my question.”
“Ho-ya, so you are not a boy? Then shall I call you a men? More accurately, you all are a young adult and that means you too Ms. Allen. You all are now matured. I took into account everything as I choose all of you. First of all, why you are chosen? That’s because you are the first to use the new contract format. It is the new rpg-fantasy game format. You are exposed to all the fantasy game in the world. So you are more knowledgeable of the world you called fantasy. The old format was only a simple profession choice. Since the old contractors only have simple profession such as swordsman or knight with some weird skills, they were not able to accomplish their mission in the mirror world. Plus, they have no knowledge of the mirror world. The World Order was the one that support a lot of game companies and writers to publish fantasy games and novels. These were a step to ensure the new contractors are knowledgeable in fantasy settings. I’m sure all of you know a lot of fantasy games and novels. The fact that you are chosen as a student was because it will be easier to teach you new things. You can’t teach an old dog a new trick, can you?” he paused and started to glare at us.
“There were also a reason for why all you twisted personality students are able to enter the elite 5A class. Last time, 5A class only accept those brilliant and well-manured students. But I choose every one of you because I know you will have the willpower to accept this task. Everything was set up by me from 10 years ago just to ensure that we the human race shall survive. Does that answer your question?”
“…” the classroom was silent again. I cannot find any words to answer the principal. The way he said those word were very confident and I could feel the seriousness carried by his word. The principal have been planning all this just for the sake of humanity. I can only feel envy for him.
Then Maru suddenly asked “What happen to the contractors that was sent to the mirror world and how many contractors are left after that? I know for a fact that you said they could not accomplish their missions.”
“I won’t leave any information hidden from you since you will be given missions similar as them. I will tell you honestly, the mission on the mirror world failed miserably. There were no survivors. 20 years ago, all 500 contractors were wiped out during a mission to raid a demon fort where a hole was found. We used half of our fighting force and decided to get more contractors for the next expedition.” he stopped and stare at the ceiling as if the past was playing back in his eyes.
“The veteran contractors numbered only 400. We managed to get 3000 new recruits using the old contract format in 2 years and trained them for another 3 years. Then we sent them on another expedition on the mirror world with half of our veterans. This time, the mission was to split up and raid three separate holes which were occupied by the demons. The result was, we manage to get one hole and the fairies help closed it up. The other two holes…” he paused, stared down, anguished with wrinkles casting shadows over his eyes and continued “…the contractors were wiped out. I saw the problem were, most of our contractors had only skills that are not suitable for battle and our profession make it seems like we are just normal soldiers. “
He swallowed bitterly his past memory and looked at us again. “Then we postponed the mission for a while and use a new strategy. For the next 5 years, we recruited another 10 000 contractors but they are mainly used to hunt down any demons that are able to enter the real world. So now, you are our newest recruits using the latest contract format. Our greatest ever!”
Then Gerome shouted “Are you crazy?! You are literally sending us to our death! The expedition was a real proof that we can’t enter the mirror world!”
“Listen, right now, if you were to fight with the veteran contractors, it would be a one sided win for you. What I’m trying to say is that you are so much stronger than any other contractors. Right now, we are focusing you guys on training and honing your ability before you can raid the demons.” the Principal held up his hand to calm Gerome.
“1000 contractors with veterans weren’t enough to raid a demon fort and you train just 36 of us to raid that fort?! What kind of madness is this?!” Gerome were enraged. His face was flushed red, clearly showing how angry he was.
“We are not going to send just 36 of you. We are currently finding suitable candidates to form the new contract. We will recruit as many new contractors with the latest format as soon as possible. Of course, the veteran will also be joining. You could next expedition will be the biggest ever yet.” Gerome was still irritated but he sits down not wanting to enrage himself more.
“You said, the World Order managed to fend off the demon entering this world. Then why was it so hard to raid the demon fort?” i asked again as something peaked my curiosity.
“That was because the demons entering the real world are usually alone or in small groups and are usually low ranked. While the demons at the fort were numerous and were of many kind and ranks.” From what the Principal explain before this, the demons consist of many kinds and races such as ghouls, ghost, djinns and many others. So the ranks that the Principal said probably was the power rank in the demons ranking. The highest rank was the ancient devil that has been entering the real world a few times ever since the absolute rules were formed. They were recorded during the medieval era as they devastated a lot of cities and roamed the real world for a long time until the elder fairies sent them back to the mirror world. The World Order did not erase those evidences since almost everyone thought it was just a myth. After a few more useless questions, the Principal ended the question and answer session.
“I know you have lots more questions to ask but it’s starting to get boring. So let’s try out your new power…” he grinned.
Am I excited? All those nerve-wrecking things aside, of course I’m excited! Let’s see what my power can do!
Trying out My power
It seems the Principal have certain skill that lets him create a space. So he created a wide empty space which looked like a barren land. “Ask your fairy on how to control your powers. Well then, let the showcase begins.” he said as he guide us into this place.
“So, how do I do it? If I remember my profession was necromancer ninja. Then can I summon undead? Or maybe create clones?” I asked Ember, eager to begin.
“Yes, as long as what you want to do is related to your profession.” Ember replied as he floats in front of my face.
“*sigh* can you please explain it properly. Tell me the process, the actions and the outcome!”
“Oh yes. I forgot to give you skills, master. You wanted ‘mana manipulation’ right? Then it will make undead summoning or cloning easier. Give me a few minute to finish my chant.” she started chanting some words I have never heard before. I could only wait patiently until she finishes.
Then I heard a commotion. It was Maru, he succeeded in creating a flame sword. I remembered his profession was magic swordsman. I guess this was to be expected.
Another commotion started as Adam started to use his psychic ability to levitate a metre above the ground. I started to get impatient as I waited Ember to finish her chant.
“Master, I’m finished. Now prepare yourself.” A sword of light started to form with the hilt connected with chains.
“Eh? Prepare for wh…Gahhhh!!” I coughed out all the air in my lung as the sword of light pierced through my heart. This stabbing pain was the same as last night. The chains connected on the hilt swayed and moved to wrap around my body. Then a warm sensation relieved the pain as the sword of light and the chain slowly disappeared.
“*cough*cough*, why does it have to be so painful!” I knelled down. Touching my chest checking if there were any hole remained after that sword disappeared.
“Sorry my master, since your affinity is dark magic, the sword of light was your natural enemy.”
“Whatever, now tell me how do I do this.” I brushed off the dust on my pants as I stood up and looked at Ember. Now I became more eager to try out my power.
“Yes, I have also added ‘chant-less spell’ as your skills. Now, empty your mind and make the mana flows out of your body and imagine the physical form you want to create. You may imagine your clones or any undead creature. The surrounding mana is also control-able but it might not give better effects than your own mana. After you channel out the mana and imagine the physical body, try to materialize the mana as if you’re changing the mana composition like changing ice into water.”
I closed my eyes in order to give me more concentration. I felt an energy swirling inside me and imagined them to moving out. The sensation of the energy channelling out of my body felt like the warm sensation I felt when I was taking a nice warm shower.
Then I imagined a skeleton knight with black full-body armour equipped with a round shield and a curved sword. I opened my eyes and shouted while striking a pose “I conqueror of the undead army, summon thee, Skeleton Knight!” A magic circle glowed dimly under my feet and a dark mist flowed out of it. I was startled for a second before being amazed.
Slowly, the mist rose up to my height in front of me and an eerie voice echoed, “I’m under your command”.
The mist dispersed away and a black knight can be seen. I cannot confirm if it was a skeleton knight since every parts of the body was covered by armours. The helm had a small slit where I can see two red glows which probably were the eyes. This was exactly the way I imagined it in my mind, a perfect duplication. But I did not expect it to speak.

“Wow! That was amazing Master! You did it on your first try. This undead looks impressive! But master, you really didn’t need to shout out those few words since you already have chant-less incantation. Hmm, that wasn’t even a chant though…” Ember said as she was puzzled by my action.
“Hahaha, amazing isn’t it? Don’t worry about what I said, I just want to shout that out once in a while. (he wanted to be chuuni for a bit)”
Then Maru came up to me and said, “This thing look like it can easily break.” Then he swing his flame swords towards the skeleton knight. Clang! A metallic sound reverberates as the skeleton knight shield himself with the round shield.
“My lord, shall I dispose of this offender for you?” It surprised me because the skeleton knight had quite high level of intellect and It called me, ‘my lord’. I must have said the conqueror of undead army just now so he thinks I’m the lord? The way it blocked Maru’s swing was also very swift and delicate exhibiting some kind of technique.
I grinned as I ordered, “Skeleton Knight, apprehend the attacker but do not injure him too much!”
“Your wish is my command!” the skeleton knight returned his sword into its scabbard.
Maru suddenly glared at me “Oh-ho, I shall accept this as a challenge then! O’ lord of light, bestow me the blade to slay this deadly beast, bestow me the strength to fight this dark creature. Sword of light!” the flame sword distinguished and was replaced by a sword enshrouded with bright divine light.
He already knew how to chant other magic now, it was probably one of his skills. With this everyone gathered around and cheered to either me or Maru.
Maru made the first move by closing the distance between him and the skeleton knight. He swings the sword downward but the skeleton knight just twisted its body and evaded. Using the momentum of the first swing, Maru changed direction and slashes upward.
As if expecting the slash, the skeleton knight blocked the attack using its shield. Maru continued slashing and swinging his sword but the skeleton knight easily block all his attack without moving much.
He backed away after a series of attacks, “*pant*pant* Hey Harry, don’t you think your skeleton knight is a little bit too strong? Could you ease up his defence a little bit…or maybe I should just attack you!” he ran towards my direction. With his sword readied, he slashed horizontally at my neck but.. Clang! Another metallic sound reverberates. The slash was blocked by the skeleton knight. However there are two skeleton knights on the field now. The place where I was supposed to be standing was replaced by a skeleton knight instantly.
“What the heck?! Gahhh!” Maru tried to back away but was hit hard by a shield-throw from the skeleton knight that was behind him.
As he fell down face first from the momentum carried by the shield-throw, I shouted “Pin him down my Skeleton Knights! Hahaha, you fell for my trap Maru! While you were busy slashing at the skeleton knight, I summoned another skeleton knight. Then I disguised him using my ninja technique to make it looked like me while I hide my presence in the crowd. Hahaha, this power is quite amazing huh.”
“Wow, master, that was brilliantly done!” Ember started to throw compliments towards me.
“Spectacular! Harry you are quite a strategist huh. You expected Maru’s attack and make a trap. You have my compliment for that.” The Principal came and gave me a clap. Then he continued, “All of you healers, you should try out your healing ability on Maru now. For the others, you can try out as many things as you want but don’t force yourself too much. Be aware that you have limited mana capacity. If you are feeling tired and about to black out, then your mana is about to run out. Then you should sit down and rest as the mana refills automatically.”
I ordered the skeleton knights to let him go for others to heal him. From what I saw during the battle, this skeleton knights have high intelligence and were very skilled in combat. Maru’s attacks did not land a hit because he have no experience or what-so-ever with a sword. Even a kid can see he was only swinging the sword around aimlessly.
So the end result was inevitable, it was an obvious win by the skeleton knights. However, his speed and agility when he closed the distance was definitely fast. I have been with Maru since elementary school so I knew how fast he can run but his speed just now have increased exponentially. It was as if he was Usain Bolt sprinting for the finish line. This must have also been the result of his profession or maybe his set of skills.
All the healers gathered around Maru and tried out their healing ability after being given a brief instruction by their fairies. Some of the other classmates were still trying to understand the concept as their fairies explained to them in detail while others have already tried out many things.
In front of me, the skeleton knights were awaiting orders. “Hey Ember, how do I dismiss them? I still have a lot of things I want to try out and could feel my mana is draining out by them.”
“Oh yes, you should just cut of your mana supply to them so they’ll slowly crumble away or you could just force their mana to disperse and they’ll disappear. I don’t think you will be drained out of your mana. Even though, your mana reservoir is quite average, but it is very dense. If my calculation is correct, you can keep feeding them mana for 5 to 8 minutes before draining out. Also, since you can control mana at will, you can feed them as much mana from the surrounding so you have no worry of draining out.”
“Eh, seriously?! Don’t you think my skill is a bit too powerful? Even if I have small mana reservoir, those skill would still make me over powerful.”
“Well it is a good thing if it’s powerful. That was also the reason I choose you as my master. I see the other contractors didn’t have such powerful skill, but there were a few with formidable skill. However, since your contract seems more appealing, so I chose you.” This fairy seem to have chosen me because of my contract, it made me depress a little.
I started to feel the mana in one of the skeleton knight and imagine it to disperse slowly. Like how I summoned them, another magic circle glowed under my feet and sucked in the mist emitted by the skeleton knight then slowly disappear. “Oh, how about my other skills? Can you give them now?”
“I’m so sorry master, but I can only give you two skills for now. The contracts have a level-system where I can only give you the skills at a certain level.”
“What?! There’s also a level-system? You mean, these level-systems need me to gather experience to increase levels and every time a level is increased, the other stats will also change accordingly?”
“Yes. You must also be at a certain level before you can get a certain skills. Sometime, if you achieved a certain condition, you will get special skills which I can’t grant you with.”
“Ohhh I see, I understand. So what level am I now?”
“You’re level 4 now. You gained a lot of experience after defeating Maru that you levelled up from 1 to 4. My current level is level 52. I increased 1 level after you defeated Maru and also gain the same amount of experience. For now, the highest level contractor in this class is you while the highest level fairy is Ari’s fairy.”
“Woah, I didn’t expect that. Just why is your level so high? Well, whatever. So do you know my stats?”
“Yes, due to your level and profession bonus, your current stats would be:

· Agility: 12
· Luck: 0
And result of those stats would be:

So that is all master. As for me, my level only indicates what skills I’m capable of granting you. I’m capable of using some high level spells but I can only use it with the permission of the elder fairies.”
Whatever I thought of it, the profession bonus was astronomical. Plus, my mana reservoir was quite small as I thought. If I were to include my ability to control surrounding mana, that would be a total of 10 thousand. She did said about my mana being very dense but I don’t really understand what that means. Now I really thought of myself as an over powerful character.
I put those thoughts aside and asked “How do I compare my stats with a normal human?”
“Hmm, the average humans can only have max stats up to 5 but don’t worry about it. You will get stronger as you level up.”
As I was chatting with Ember, Ari came up to me. “Woah, your fairy is so cute Harry. What’s her name?”
“Hey Ari, umm Ember, introduce yourself.”
“Yes master, I’m Ember Agarictree, fairy of the night. Just Ember is fine, nice to meet you”
Then Ari introduced herself, “Nice to meet you Ember, I’m Ari Marcel, you can call me Ari. This is my fairy, Lily Clearwater.” Then her fairy bowed, “Lily Clearwater, Fairy of the spring blossom. Call me Lily, nice to meet you.”
“Nice to meet you, Lily. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Harry Straty, you can call me Harry.” Lily was cute although she had a sleepy face and the way she talks was short and simple unlike Ember’s tsundere-like personality.
She have a short brown hair with what looked like flowers pinned to her bangs. Lily was wearing a sparkling greenish one-piece dress. Her pair of wing was different from Ember’s. She had wings similar to that of a butterfly with a beautiful mix of green and blue. The pair of wings flapped slowly as she floats next to Ari. Logically, the flapping of the wings would not give enough lift force for her to float like that. So I deducted that both Ember and Lily must have used some kind of magic to float around.
“You’re an Arch Bishop right? So how did the healing go?” I asked as I look over at Maru.
“Yes. Maru was a bit persistent. He keeps on saying he want to keep the battle scar for him to remember so he can take revenge. It was a bit hard to remember the chant but everything went well. I healed him forcibly though.”
“Gehhh, you’re scary when you’re serious Ari, but I still think it’s quite cute." He started to look away as I said those words. "Ari, what are your thoughts on our current situation? I still have a fifty-fifty decision whether to give the Principal a hand or not.”
“There you go again. Saying I’m cute and everything. I’m trying hard to be manly you know. That is why, I think I’m really going to do this. I’m going to help the world. I’ve been a coward all this time, but maybe now, with you and Maru around, I can try to be brave. Harry, please, let’s do this. Let’s fight for this world, together with the three of us.”
“*sigh*, I’m not sure if Maru is going to agree, but…” Ari stopped me before I could finish my words.
“I know, Maru is also waiting for you, we are waiting for you, Harry.” The looks in his eyes were very determined. I know the world was in danger and the risk that we will face.
I reluctantly told him “Okay, let’s do this but you should remember it’s not just the three of us, but everyone in the class.”
Crazy leveling ideas
“For now, try out as many things you want. School will be finishing as usual, at 2 o’clock, but if you still want to try out your power then you can leave before 5 o’clock. As for equipment, I’ll get it done tomorrow but if you have special request then I’ll consider it.” After saying those words, the Principal left using the portal leading to our classroom which was now a lecture hall.
I saw many of my classmates gathered into their respective parties including my own party. Rudy was a knight while Zafi was a master spearman. So they cannot do much without their weapons but they still can create buffs though.
As for Maru, he still have many things he wanted to try out so he went to some isolated place alone. Ari was an arch bishop which focused on healing but he still had some offensive holy magic and he wanted to try it out.
Then a thought struck me. I summoned 3 weak skeleton footman wielding only a rusty and blunt curved swords. Even though are weaker compared to the skeleton knight before, I could still feel my mana draining out quickly so i had to use the surrounming instead of my own. Then I called out Maru and asked him to create a sword of light to see if Rudy can use it. Turns out, Rudy was able to wield it but Maru told me that the mana cost was doubled when someone else used his magic sword.
So, the plan was, Maru and Rudy will be the frontline while Ari will concentrate on healing and try using his holy offensive magic. Since Zafi cannot wield any weapons other than spear, so his only job was to add buffs to the others.
I wanted to create more undeads but I fear that my level would not be sufficient enough to create a few more. This was just a try out though. I will summon more after they defeated those skeleton footman.
Then I ordered the skeleton footman to attack them. At first, their teamwork was a mess. Rudy got hit several times while Maru only managed to defeat one of the skeleton footmen. After a while they were able to understand their own responsibility and improve their teamwork. It took them 15 minutes to defeat the remaining skeleton footman. As expected they got experience points from defeating my skeleton footman and rise by two levels.
The other parties were amazed and asked me to summon skeleton footman for their party. I wanted to refuse them, but I thought it would be a good way for my classmate to accustom themselves with their party and workout on their teamwork. So I summoned five skeleton footmen for each party. Then I asked them to remember their responsibilities in the party whether it was tanking, offense, or support. They should start making strategy on how to take down the skeleton footmen before engaging.
After I gave them a few minutes to sort out their formation and strategy, I ordered all the skeleton footmen to attack their respective parties. For the OP party such as Isaac’s party and King’s party, they defeated the skeleton footmen with ease. It was a given since their party were quite balance. Adam’s party have a little difficulty with their teamwork but managed to defeat the skeleton footmen after 10 minutes.
As for the other two party, Darrel’s and Gerome’s party, they were defeated by the skeleton footmen because of the lack of tanker in their party, making them vulnerable to attacks. All of them rose up two to three levels except for Gerome’s and Darrel’s party. The result of my skeleton footmen defeating two parties was that I received a lot of exp points and rose up to level 12. I was surprised at first and then I thought of another brilliant idea.
With an evil smile I chanted(this was just an act of chuuni) “I conqueror of the undead army, Master of the dark magic, the foretold dark emperor. Answer me skeleton knights, as I call upon you. You are my vanguard. You are the despair. You are the calamity. I summon thee! Vanquish my enemies!” I said those words while pointing to the direction of my classmates.
Then the magic circle appeared beneath my feat, releasing a dark mist, and keeps on releasing it, until it turned into a dark sinister cloud enshrouding me with it. The mana usage for this skill was immense that I felt a little dizzy and would have fainted if did not swith to surrouding mana.
Slowly the dark cloud dispersed and 10 skeleton knights appeared. They ran towards my classmates with a quick stride, leaving a dark mist as they go. My classmates who was still resting after the initial fight, was caught by surprise and quickly stood up to defend themselves but they were a few second too slow as they were rammed down by the running skeleton knight as if it was buffalo on rampage. One after the other, my classmates was knocked down and some of them were unconscious due to the heavy hit.
The ones who managed to defend themselves were my party since they saw my initial intent, and were already on their feet before I finished my chant. However, not even a single of my skeleton knights were defeated, they were outnumbered and outskilled.
The skeleton knights encircled mhparty and unsheathed their swords, making the metallic clanging sound and releasing blood lust. Then I finally realized my order was ‘Vanquish my enemies’ which means; no mercy! I did not notice at first because they were only using the round shield to ram my classmates. “W-wait my skeleton knights, put away your swords! Abort my first order, just stand there and wait for my next command.” the skeleton knights sheathed their swords as they received my order.
After releasing a huge breath of relief, Ari came up to me “Are you crazy! You could have killed all of us! What were you thinking?!” He hit me in the shoulder with his cute angry face and puoting his mouth.
Then he went on to the knocked out classmates and healed their injuries. Then Maru came to me with rage, “You are mad Lazy Inchou! I would reconsider your punishment depending on your excuse for this action!” I rubbed my nose as I thought of an excuse. I definitely would not want to say that I was trying to level up quickly by attacking them while they were letting their guard down.
Then I put up a serious face, “Those are my way of training you. You know that you will be sent to the mirror world. So my attack was a lesson for you to never let your guard down. Do you understand! You could have died if I was an enemy!”
“…I see. I sense some lies in your word but there was also an honest feeling that I felt. Fine, I’ll let you go for this,” exclaimed Maru. I really thought Maru knows my real intent. He was just trying to put up just so that the other classmate would listen to what I had to say.
Although some of the others were still unsatisfied with the reason for my attack but after they were healed by Ari, I get a feeling that they were actually sending a feeling of gratitude towards me. For some reason, I felt like I wanted to get hurt and then healed by Ari. I checked with Ember and asked her what my level was. She said it was already level 24 and I gained two new skills. Bunshin no Jutsu and Raiton no jutsu. Now I am way ahead of my classmates.

It was almost 12 o’clock, and we still have two hours left before school ends. Ari and Maru said that they will stay in school until 5 because they want to study for the exam. “…oh i see, I will stay with you guys then. I still have some things I want to try out.”
“For your information Lazy Inchou, we are going to study, not play around with our power. Or are you just jealous seeing me and Ari studying together?” Maru blurted out as he put his hand around my shoulder.
“Yes! I’m definitely jealous! Ari, you should not date with this guy! You should only date with me!!” i shouted at Ari.
“E-ehhhh?! It’s not a date! I’m just studying with him. Why are you even feeling jealous about this, hmph.*blushing*” Ari replied and he tried to not make eye contact with me.
“Hahaha, lazy Inchou, Ari is happy that you are jealous!” Maru replied and drilled his fist on my chest.
“What are you saying Maru! Why do you guys always tease me like this!” Ari started to pout and mumble some weird things. Then Rudy and Zafi joined the conversation saying they want to study too.
Since I have the best grades between them, I was asked to teach them. “Okay, but I won’t be studying though. I just want to try out some more of my power. So just call me out if you have any question.”
“What? You mean we are going to study in this barren land?” Rudy asked.
“No, our class changed into a luxurious lecture hall. You should take the opportunity to make use of it. Plus, this barren land is connected to the class room by that door…” I point out the huge three metre wooden door. “…so you call me out if you have question.”
“Huh, that would be so troublesome. Well whatever, as long as you can teach us that would be fine,” Maru said.
Then I looked at Ari who was deep in thought. “Ari, what are you thinking?”
“…oh, nothing. It would seem we would use this barren land a lot now, shouldn’t we name it ‘training ground’ now?”
“Ah yeah, sure we can call it that.” Maru said.
“And also, don’t you think the other teacher would be surprised to see our classroom changed into a lecture hall?”
“That would not be the case though…because all of them are veteran contractors except for me.” Ari’s question was answered by her sister, Ms. Allen. She was only seen now as she did not enter the training ground just now because the principal had some other things to tell her.
“What? Really Sis?” Ari replied. He acts even more like a girl when Ms. Allen is around.
“Yeah, they will be teaching us from now on…maybe training would be the correct word?”
“Wait, Sis, you said ‘us’?”
“*sigh* yes I will also be joining the training with you all. I’m really worried though. We will be trained for few weeks and then send to the mirror world for further training.”
“What! In a few more weeks? That’s too early! What is the principal thinking?!” I replied as i was surprised by what she said.
“I don’t know, but he will give another detailed briefing on this matter tomorrow.”
