Almost Dying

I was sitting in my math class, trying my best to pay attention to the lesson. But my mind kept wandering, lost in thoughts of video games and fantasy worlds.

And then it happened.

Suddenly, I was no longer in the classroom. I was standing on a vast, open plain, surrounded by towering mountains and forests that stretched as far as the eye could see.

But I wasn't alone. There were creatures everywhere, fierce monsters with sharp claws and teeth. They snarled and hissed, advancing on me with bloodthirsty intent.

I stumbled back, my heart pounding in my chest. I had no idea what was going on, but I knew one thing for sure - I was in serious trouble.

As I tried to run, I saw a notification appear in my vision. It was like a message from the game, telling me that I had been transported to a fantasy world where everything was trying to kill me.

As I was looking at the stat sheet. A giant bear covered in lava attacked me, a lava bear. I tried to run away but the lava bear was too fast for me. I was terrified and my heart was pounding as I watched it lay down on me. I could feel the heat from its body radiating off of it. The heat from the lava was too intense, and the molten rock seeped through my clothes and skin. I was starting to burn and felt like I was going to be cooked alive. I screamed until I could scream no more until I was engulfed by the lava.

----Fake Death active----

Hp 1/100

The bear then got off me, walking away as if nothing happened. I had never been so close to death, and an overwhelming fear of the experience.

----Skill gained----

Resistant- After taking 99% damage, skin becomes as tough as leather

I was confused and mad, but I knew that I had to fight to survive. I had to find a way to defend myself and make it out alive.

I then went and found an unused cave. This would be my home now. After almost dying I was tired and went right to sleep. What a day.

As I woke up I looked around to see that yesterday wasn’t a dream. Fuck. Got to make the best of it. As I started to run around doing my morning workout.

----Stat increase Agility + 1----

I need to get some food. I’m so hungry.

After training for a day. The need for food is my number one problem. So it was time to go hunting.

Hunting isn't always easy, but it can be rewarding in many ways. The thrill of the chase, the feeling of liberation as you explore the wilderness, and the satisfaction of providing for yourself are all reasons why so many people choose to hunt. For me, nothing beats the feeling of sitting down to a meal that I have hunted and prepared myself. With each bite, I am reminded of the effort and skill that went into acquiring the food, and it makes the meal all the more special. As I set out into the woods, I am filled with excitement and anticipation, knowing that the reward will be well worth the effort. As I looked around the rocky terrain I spotted an easy mark. A little lizard all alone.

As I approached the fire lizard, I felt a sense of unease. It looked bigger up close, and terror filled me. However, I had to get food for myself, and this was my only hope. With just my fists, I cautiously advanced toward the blazing creature.

Suddenly, the fire lizard lunged at me, and I stumbled, barely sidestepping its fiery breath. I mustered all my courage and grabbed its side. The beast thrashed and roared in fury, but I held on with all my might. Sweat drenched my forehead, and I could feel the heat emanating from its skin. But I was determined to make it through and bring home some much-needed meat for me.

However, my victory was short-lived as the fire lizard released a final burst of flame at my face. I screamed in agony as my skin sizzled and burned. I fell to the ground, rolling to put out the fire. I crawled away as fast as I could, barely alive. My only consolation was that I managed to get a bit of meat pulled off it, but at what cost? The scars on my face would be a constant reminder of that terrifying battle with the fire lizard.

----Skill gained----

Survivor- after losing 99% of your health twice, gain + 5 endurance and +5 Vitality at each level.

----Skill Resistant upgraded to tier 2 ----

As I stumbled away from the fire lizard, my mind was racing. It had been weeks since I last ate, though, and the primal need to survive pushed me forward. I limped, my face a mess of burned and oozing skin, towards my shelter. As I dragged my body along, I noticed the world around me seemed to change. The trees were more vibrant, the flowers more fragrant, and even the dirt beneath me was softer than ever. It was as if the world was thanking me for pushing through the terror and moving forward. I knew right then that I had to keep going, no matter the cost because, in that hellish moment, I found the will to survive.
