Cyrus (Sid) POV :

Blood everywhere, a sea of blood, trying to avert my eyes  of this disgusting  fluid but I can’t,  bathing in  crimson sticky  liquid .But when looking  at my hand they are tainted  and overflowing  of blood,  then I sense a presence behind me, im petrify. Earring a scream of a beast, without delay began to run but feel the presence near waiting to be at range of my neck with her claws.

Waking up, drench in sweat , my eyes were  itchy, the sun was already bright in the sky   then with a Lightning  of lucidity, i thought of  this awful nightmare ,  quickly inspecting my skin  to verify  any scratch, but found  nothing .

Trying to move  but feeling  so weak, manage to stand up but  after  great effort. Something was weird in my room, every things was there but  not at the right place I remember, I don’t know why but  I begin  to review  what I did yesterdays,   nothing special  I attend  cooking some wild boar for midday, then I clean all rooms and for finish land a hand to Isaac  for cleaning the library, I was alone when i finish that, nothing weird.

Anyway I refresh myself as quickly as I could but an eternity passed before I was ready to begin my daily task, weirder no one as came to call me, because I was late like sometimes before when I began to train with Ana.

With my  suit I’m more at ease, without I feel naked, so I was ready to open the door but someone knock and I open it.

Cyrus:” hello sorry im late, I don’t know why but this morning I wasn’t feeling well “, it was Isaac, he replies with an uneasy attitude:

Isaac:” Master already know that  and said  you need to rest a little more, Are you all right since yesterday night? , his remark made me cautious so I asked :

Cyrus:” Why? What happened yesterday night? “, looking at me  with a worrisome  face he said :

Isaac: “You know the bloodbath? It was after you help me at the library ”, I stared at him with miscomprehension :

Cyrus: ”Bloodbath? What are you talking? ” with a resolute face Isaac said:

Isaac:” Tomorrow, master Zac will meet you, he will reply to that matter, now just rest in your room you are exempt of training and daily chores”, puzzled was I by his odd attitude, then I thought at what he said, struck by a lighting’s revelation, I understand that I sleep for a whole day, just what the hell had happen that night.

I try to train in my room but I was too weak to do more five push up, leaning on my bed trying to remember what had happen.

Isaac (Pablo) POV:

It was Monday night when the accident occurred, waking up in the middle of the night by a scream, I dress up quickly, taking my curves swords (kukris), opening my door, I saw in front of my door Cyrus door room half open then I heard a scream of Cyrus, master came as the same moment I steal myself to enter, so we both enter into the room for checking  Cyrus and why he scream.

We find out miss Ana naked on Cyrus but a lot of blood, then miss Ana feel our presence, turn her head , her lips cover by blood, her eyes red crimson not the usual deep blue color, she howl like a beast, without sawing her  movement I was toss against the wall, a sharp pain resonate  in my body, it seem some broken ribs, panting heavily I stood up, barely keeping my weapon in one hand while the other  busy guarding my broken ribs.

Then I saw master fade away, two blur were dancing and ravaging the room like a storm, I stay pararylsed by this fight of monster. After some time master overpower miss Ana locking her hand behing her back on the ground.

Master Zac suddenly shoot:

Master Zac:” Isaac! the fight  is finished! Come here! And give me some dress for miss Ana!”, nodding  I undress my vest  to hide the voluptuous body of miss Ana tainted by blood, I fidgeting for a moment but I finally ask

Isaac:” Who are you master and Miss Ana? What are you?”, master reply abruptly

Master Zac: “ Not the moment for that,  Cyrus is in a critical state ! “, I totally forget Cyrus, shame on me,  I slowly turn my head fearing to see the state of my brother.

He was naked, bleeding to his death, but master began to lick the wound, i say suddenly

Isaac:” what are you doing we need to stop the bleeding and bandage his body”, worry of master behavior but he answer

Master Zac :” Our saliva have healing  properties on small wounds”, then  biting his hand and opening the mouth of Cyrus, “my blood will help him to regenerate the heavy wounds”, amaze by this discovery and a mountain of question pop up in my head with a lot of fear. Then viewing I was in pain with my ribs lord Zac take a cup and fill with some of his blood, order me to drink, my pain vanished.

Cyrus face seem to had regain some color, lord ask me to let Cyrus rest for the next day and when he wake up if  I constat he is still weak let him rest another day. Lord tell me also  he will answer our question of both of us when Cyrus condition be better.

On the second day(Wednesday), I paid a visit to Cyrus, he seem to have forgotten what happen with miss Ana, for the better or worse,  but still in state of weakness so I let him rest this day too.

Cyrus appear confuse with what I said so I tell him Lord Zac will answer his question, I thought mines too.

This second day past really slowly, doing my morning training with Siegfried who don’t seem faze by what occurred, well I  suppose he is like lord Zac, not a man but something else, a beast with human face.

A man from the city has come to warning us, a war with neighbor  will began, army will enlist every man still valid, I guess we will be forced to kill  or be killed but I’m not very fond of this kind of idea.

The stranger talk with Siegfried, an acquaintance it seem,  I heard a weird name  when he was referring to Siegfried “Nibelungen”, I knew he was a reference to a north  myth of dwarf mist but what  link with this weird  fraternity, again questions are piling up.

This day finally end,  I paid a last visit to Cyrus before going to sleep, I met  miss Ana, with fear but stealing my heart I salute her, politely and coldly, she apologize on what happen but I didn’t care, she arm my friend, my brother, my family, I can’t  forgot this .

Mysterious Lord Zac POV:

Late in Thursday night, I called Siegfried and Ana, what happen is a disaster for us, for our cover in this land, then Ana and Siegfried arrived in my private library.

Zac:” my friends we are in state crisis, I know its hard to refrain your urges Ana, but why on this poor child “, I was perplex by the attitude of Ana, she reply with guilty eyes:

Ana:” I know you said if we ever touch one of this childs we need to kill them to preserve our live, but Cyrus was so charming, and didn’t  stop to flirt with me  couldn’t refrain my  desire”, she began to cries silently.

Siegfried:” I know you are the patriarch of this clan and you word are law but can’t we convert them? They are good child, Cyrus always land me a hand for hunting, Isaac manage to read all book of your main library, exploit Ana, me or even you can’t claim after so many years”, with kindness he said that, I warn them to don’t attach to mortal, too much pain  for our heart.

Zac:” I know, what you mean, I must admit they are diligent in their work and they bring some warm in my old heart, but you know the price to make them like us”, It was a hard time to make a decision.

Ana: she stop to sob and say “my love for Cyrus grew bigger each day  , and I don’t want to kill him, Isaac care lot  for his brother”, Siegfried  flow in the same way.

Arguing for some hour, they manage to convince me :

Zac:” ok both you win, but we need to do a last test, to prove their loyalty, Ana I need your help for that”, we finished to talk about the test for tomorrow but im worry about Isaac, I will pray we manage to pass this crisis, I hope my clan can survive without any issue.

Cyrus POV:

The time for answers has come, clear the mist on my memory, late in evening Lord Zac summon us, Siegfried and Ana were there  behind him.

Lord Zac:  “draw your katana Cyrus “, master order are absolute so I draw my weapon then Master ask to Ana to be on four legs, i begin to  be afraid of what of my Lord will ask me.

Lord Zac: “ now deliver your  judgment  to your offender”, saying that with a grave tone, his order are absolute but why Ana?  No way, i behead my love, I must do something but im so puzzle.

Cyrus:” Master are you sure about this? I don’t know why you are asking me to do that”, trying to avoid to do that but :

Lord Zac: “ words are useless, now act !”, his voice was strangely cold, I begin to make a move with my exotic sword, focusing on what im doing , with a swing my sword meet with no resistance the ground. I miss her head on purpose and say to Lord :

Cyrus:” I can’t my lord, my mind want to obey you but my heart is crying an ocean submerging my loyalty, she is my love, my life, my goal, my ambition and my blood, killing her is like killing myself “, dropping my sword and kneeling before my master and waiting my punishment but :

Lord Zac: “ you have passed your judgment on Ana but now  it’s time for Isaac to do the same thing”, gritting my teeth to stay silent.

I take a quick glance at Isaac, fear began to shroud my mind.

Isaac draw slowly his  claymore, and said :

Isaac :” Why I need to do the same master?, he seem a little anxious in his voice and master reply :

Master Zac: “ why? Because you share the bond of family with Cyrus  so you also need to pass a judgment on Ana  “, its odd master seem a little anxious.

Isaac slowly swing his huge sword, preparing to behead my love, I need to burn that moment in  my eyes, to fuel my future anger.

Isaac did a swing but throw his weapon on the side and say:

Isaac: “ Master, I cant kill the love of my brother, my brother is all for me, so even if I hate so much her for what she did I  still cant kill her .

Master Zac: “ marvelous, it seem we found some rare pearl my friends, now time to reveal the truth about  us, Ana can you stand up please”, master begin to talk about some tales about  monsters and legends and say :

Master Zac : “We are vampires, maybe the last clan,  we didn’t receive any news from the others clan since a century, now both of you will  receive the blood ceremony, you cant refuse , refusing mean death we cant let you know our secret and stay human, our lives are in the balance”, then Ana and Siegfried bring two huge goblets, Lord Zac nail transform in long claw, with a  flash he cut his hand, filling the goblets, so much thick  blood.

After that he ask to repeat  the pledge of loyaty:

“Blood is everything,

Since the creation to the end of time,

Blood is life, blood is death,

In accordance to the ancient law,

I vow loyalty and obedience,

In this bloody world,

My master shall stay eternal,

If I ever fail I offer all my blood,

Suffering an eternal punishment”

Then we were forced to drink all, without a delay Siegfried and Ana pierce our body, why? The last thing I heard was “ now we are blood brother”
