When I was in third grade I asked Antonio this. He replied by telling me about my mothers childhood.
Natalia’s father Bill is an abusive paranoid schizophrenic, and her mother K (whom Im named after) was a paranoid germaphobe who was disowned by her family for being bat shit crazy (both grandparents were disowned). My mother was the oldest with two little brothers Don, and Brian. The only stable income they had came from K’s job as a waitress, which barely paid for Bill’s pills for his mental illness, let alone food for my mom and her family. They had no fridge so they would eat microwave dinners, and big meals they would ration for weeks while it sat on the counter slow rotting while they ate it (turkey). My mother was constantly sick and vomiting from what she ate and beaten by her father who never left the house except for church on Sunday. My mother went to school 3 houses down at an all girls catholic school, so she had no escape. She was a straight A student all her life and only got abused by her father. When she was 10 she got a job delivering papers in order to buy herself clothes, and food. When she was 13 she had bought herself 2 ponies she housed at the orchard across the road. She would deliver newspapers on her pony for another three years until she bought her own car and only came home once a week after that. According to Antonio it was around the time she bought her horse that he noticed and fell in love with her (more info later).

She grew up in a hard situation and because of that she can’t handle showing affection or being apart of a family. Because it brings her back to her trama, so she physically can not hug me, because it hurts her more than I could ever know. On a unrelated note my mom is a wonderful woman who is constantly happy and helping people. She currently works as a at home nurse for disabled children. She also can eat you out of house and home, it is scary how much as a family we eat. I mean SCARY!!
