Rowan has always been someone favored by everything, be it talent, the opposite gender and even status. Yet he could only dream of being able to walk next to the white haired girl, Sylph, "' Hey do you mind being friends ?'" He had asked confidently, only to be stopped in his tracks by a nonchalant look from her before walking away silently.
From that day on, he was frustrated, he who had almost everything couldn't befriend this person. His anger and frustration flared up even more when he saw, a complete nobody, walk with her multiple times that day.
Sylph had come from a mysterious family, so mysterious that even his family couldn't dig the slightest information on her. This had made him even more obsessed with her, but he couldn't do anything about it because she was just stronger than him. They had already sparred multiple time during swordsmanship classes, yet she won every time effortlessly.
For him, this was a challenge, he had to win her over. Anything where he won against her would make him happy and fulfilled, but the reality proved otherwise. He couldn't win in anything, be it training, swordsmanship, magi, magic theory, etc.. He always lost. She was just perfect in every domain.
Thus, when he saw the boy next to her, ho lost his temper and snapped. As he was walking toward his next class after lunchtime, he saw him.
The boy had tied his somewhat long hairs behind his head, his complexion was very pale as if he hadn't seen the light for years. He was looking around, as if exploring the academy.
As he was exploring the huge and long corridors of the academy, Rowan walked to him at a fast pace, and then bumped into him.
On the ground, the boy looked at him while holding his head, "Ah.. Sorry i didn't s-" "Who are you ?" Dante, confused, just responded, "Oh, i'm a new student he-"
Before he could finish, the red haired boy refuted even more aggressively, "How did you do it?! Why would she allow you and not me?! So tell me how did you do it!" As he grabbed him by the collar.
"Haah.. Fucking hell. Not the 3rd degree character young master shit. It's so boring." The black haired boy's voice took a 180-degree turn, what shocked him even more were his eyes taking a deep red color.
This made push him away, making him fall again, "You! You were about to use your skill weren't you?!" He then pointed at him.
"What skill are you talking about? Haah.. Poor lad, the young master IQ debuff must be burdening your mind." As he stood up and dusted himself. "Would you mind telling me where i can find the hall? I'm los-" Before he could finish, a fist landed on his face, sending him a few feet away.
The boy didn't react at all as he started standing up and dusting himself again, completely ignoring his bleeding nose. "My oh oh my! It seems they were accurate. Red haired people are really reckless, letting their fists do the talking." An amused smile appeared on his face.
Before any further interactions could be made, a teacher walked their way. She had deep purple hairs and rectangular glasses, a tired expression was hanging on her face, "Unauthorized fights aren't allowed in this establishment, both of you come with me."

To Dante, she looked like those teachers who didn't show their emotions most of the time but were invested in their work. As he thought about it, the teacher grumped, "If only this bloody continent wasn't always on the verge of war, i would continue my experiments peacefully instead of teaching all these kids. Tsk.."
On the way toward her office, students looked at them intensely, they weren't looking at the boys but more at the alluring teacher. She had a small bosom, but her body was perfectly proportioned.
The teacher looked irked at their lustful gazes, fortunately or rather unfortunately for the students, they had reached her office.
When they entered, they couldn't call this an office but more like a villa. The exterior looked smaller than the interior, which Dante assumed was the work of space magic.
There were things everywhere, small artifacts, trinkets, complex papers and all. It was such a mess, but the teacher wasn't bothered in the least. There wasn't a bedroom or anything, there was only a sofa, which he assumed was where the teacher slept.
The boy next to him was blushing a lot, he was as red as a tomato. His attention was then caught by the paper the teacher took from a drawer. "Rowan Emberlock and, hmm, I haven't seen you around here. A new student? Dante.. no last name, how odd. Even commoners have a last name these days. Anyway, I can see who attacked who it." As she looked at the perfectly fine Rowan and the bruised Dante with a bleeding nose.
"Rowan Emberlock, you're getting a 'punishment' dot. As you don't have a lot, you can choose between chores for a week or spare with an instructor. I'm warning you, you will fight with him as if you're fighting to death. The instructor will not kill you, however he won't go easy."
"I choose option two, I don't want to be a maid for a week, gross." Rowan immediately answered, his eyes filled with disgust when thinking about cleaning the academy.
The teacher looked at him for a while before letting them go. On their way to the door, she called Dante, "Dante, your blood is all over the ground in my office. Stay behind to clean it."
Rowan hearing this, grinned before walking out without forgetting to mock him by sticking his tong out.
Dante on the other hand understood something else behind these words. He closed the door and walked back to her. Before he could react, he saw the towering teacher appearing before him while putting her hand on his chest, the device in her hands blinking a dark gray hue.
"Really no affinity, how rare, i never thought i could see such a 'subject' in my life" She said with anticipating eyes.
"Teacher say, was that teleportation? If I'm not being disrespectful.." Dante asked. The teacher answered, "Yes, want me to teach you? You will have to be my test subject until you learn how to teleport." After having said that, she grinned. Now that he could properly look at her, he would give her an age of early twenties at most. Her face was bewitching with her pink and small lips and her deep purple eyes. Now he could understand everyone's lust toward her.
What Dante was misunderstanding that everyone was captivated by her curves and not her face.
"What kind of experiments will I be subjected to? What's the time that students take in general to master teleportation magic?" Dante, clearly seeing the hole in this deal, asked suspiciously.
The teacher looked for a while, " Most students will never be able to use the slightest bit of space magic in their entire lives. As for your former question, you will just go through 'some' pain at most. But no worries, magic will heal everyth-."
"Alright"
Just as she was about to finish, she was surprised by the kid's instant answer. "But won't you be worried about what others will think. I mean, I may have lost my memories, but I still understand that such experiments on a kid won't be taken lightly by society."
She looked at me without an expression and then smiled a little, "Who will know if no one witnesses the did." To which Dante responded, "Fair enough."
"Well I have other things to do now, I'm unfortunately a teacher after all. Come again after class in a few days." Before I walked away, she gave me a small red like pendant like trinket with a red gem. On it was a small button you could press.
Wear this at all times, it's a trinket which will send me your location if you click on the button. I can't have such a precious test subject die uselessly." Her last words made me shiver a little. "And don't forget to wash away the blood!"
Dante looked a little stupefied. In his eyes, this teacher looked like those in novels who don't care about anything but teaching. He was wrong…
After cleaning the messy blood, he felt rejuvenated. He saw the teacher take her hand off him while the pale green light disappeared. "Thank you teacher." Before walking off, "You can't feel pain, can you?"
"How do you know…?" Dante asked cautiously. "Only a blind man wouldn't see that small bone fracture" As she said that, Dante looked at his leg and saw a small lump underneath his skin. It had bloated quiet a bit but was rapidly healing. He hadn't discovered it because it didn't hurt at all.
"Now I understand why you accepted so easily, now go back to class, I'm gonna be busy for a few days with preparing classes." She closed the door behind her.
He just stood there and then started continuing his exploration.
