Prologue:
A city caught in the intricate dance of steam and clockwork. The towering spires of the city pierce the sky, adorned with intricate clockwork mechanisms that turn and twist in perfect synchronization. Steam billows from vents and pipes, weaving through the air like ephemeral threads, casting a soft veil over the urban landscape. The rhythmic hum of clockwork echoes through the city, a constant background melody that harmonizes with the hiss and release of steam. Bridges adorned with cogs and gears span between buildings, connecting the various districts of the city. The streets below are alive with the hustle and bustle of mechanical life, where steam-driven carriages glide along tracks embedded in the cobblestone roads. Pedestrians, adorned in steampunk attire, move through the streets with purpose, their goggles reflecting the ever-present glow of the intricate machinery that surrounds them. In the distance, factories with towering chimneys spew forth steam, creating an industrial ballet against the backdrop of the cityscape. Massive clock towers rise like sentinels, their faces adorned with ornate gears that tick away the moments. The air is filled with the scent of oil and the metallic tang of machinery, creating a sensory experience that is both otherworldly and familiar.

All of these descriptions, describe one thing. Gearhaven. A city of wonder, of inventions. A place of marvel, where inventors and engineers gather to build and create the most wonderful creations in the entire world. Until, you cast your eyes into Slumwirth. The hidden shadow of Gearworth. The place where the poor, the destitute, and the criminals of Gearworth lay. It was a well-known fact that anything could be bought for the right price. The complete opposite of everything Gearhaven tried to convey. On one hand, Gearhaven, the perfect paradise for people. On the other, Slumwirth, the dark, shadowy alleyways infested with evil. Many a family have entered Slumwirth, only to never come back.
In this hidden world of Slumwirth, we find our story's focus. Elena Whitlock, known as the unlucky supergenius betrayed by her mind by those who knew her, and the Chaos Inventor, a psychotic engineer by those who didn't. Ever since the age of three, Elena had been afflicted with hallocinations and voices tormenting her. These malevolent spirits would take the place of her subconscious, resulting in Elena often waking up with no memory of what had just occured, sometimes in situations of violence and evil, othertimes surrounded by wonderful creations and beauty. All of this randomness led to Elena being ostracised by society. Now follow me, into the mind of Elena Whitlock, The Chaos Inventor.
