Prologue

“Nobody really knows how everything first started. Historians, adventurers and others worked together for thousands of years but all they could figure out is that, at the beginning, they were 9 races.

There was the Sanis, keeping order, watching secluded over the world from their mountains, only intervening during great crises. 

 There was the Satszi, focusing on mind games,  standing in the middle of all the trade routes. They were the most influential power of all the others, focusing on trade and politics. They gave the idea, formed and hosted the war council used for the Great War that took place every 100 years. 

There was the Leeica, dancing in water, swimming in the depths of the ocean. They had a control on almost every watery part of the continent, and therefore had a hold on the fishing and marine industry.

There was the Kir, modelling earth, and evolving through her. All of their lives revolved around her, extracting what lies in her core, smelting and forging it. 

There was the Aeliens, living with nature, walking  along side trees and animals. They hunted, tailored and farmed silently, deep in the shadows of the myriad of leaves the Large forest contained. 

There was the ehusil, ever changing like wind. They did not dwell in political matters, rather focusing on pulling off various tricks or pranks, or whatever their short attention span allowed them to think about. That also made them highly unpredictable and rather annoying to deal with. 

There was the humans, jack of all trade, master of none. They were nomads, divided into tribes and not having any established kingdom, living amongst other races. That led them to not having any real identity, and sometimes losing themselves. 

There isn’t any reliable source of knowledge about demons, all that is known is that every 100 years, the forces of chaos try to swarm the others, causing the latters to unite...
