Soooo… We’ve finally come to the end of Book 2…
I know, I know… I have been delaying the release of this story for quite some time. But honestly, no one could have expected COVID to hit us right? For some reason, working from home in my company equates to giving me more work. Seriously, I was lucky that COVID didn’t hit when I was writing Spirit Immortal, otherwise I would have died from overwork!
I will try to streamline my release schedule for Lilyflower, especially since I really don't want it to be only released once a week. I’ll try to aim for three times a week, maybe four, but no promises! I will give a test run for August to stick to the schedule and see how it holds up. Also, once I can get my schedule in order, I would want to start using my Patreon account again. I can’t keep suspending my account indefinitely after all.
Alright, logistics aside… How did you all feel about Book 2?
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
It did end on a cliffhanger like my usual style, but I really liked the way it panned out. Book 1 and 2 are part of the first arc of Lilyflower, or what you would call the introductory arc. I tried to introduce the main characters, the world setting, the plot without giving too much details… And I think I did a decent job. There were some areas that I would have liked to improve on, but I didn’t really have the time to write an entire book and edit it like most authors so bear with me on that.
The next arc however, would have more chapters as I have written much more details in the storyboard. Think of it like the main work after the introduction has been completed. That’s why the first two books only had about twenty chapters. I promise, there will be more content in Book 3, which is why I will have to speed up my releases… Urgh, the agony!
Now, you have been introduced to the main two characters. Aria, the main character and the female protagonist and Aurum, the male protagonist. It’s my first time writing a novel that has romance at the forefront rather than a supporting detail, so I will have my errors. I’m trying to make their romance a little more genuine and their interactions, a little more fun.
Well, there isn’t much to elaborate on this author’s thoughts. If I go on ranting, I might spoil the story so I’m going to keep a tight lid on this one.
Hope you enjoy the book and see you in the next one!
