Sung-ho laughed a little at her reaction, smiling and egging her on to continue the presentation.

“Sigh…anyways, all of the worlds in the universe are under the supervision of the higher beings. However, it wasn’t always like that.” A small drawing came up on her blackboard, it seemed like a tangled mess of explosions and circles wrapped up in one another.

“Before the higher beings became organised and began their supervision, all worlds and beings lived according to their own rules and magic systems, and all worlds had access to one another. We call this time the Chaotic Era, because worlds would constantly be born and then die from war and conflict.”

“There was also an unfair base advantage for certain races and worlds who had developed complex magic systems.” Anastasia put on a slightly grim tone as she changed the blackboard, showing scenes of invasions and sufferings.

“Weak worlds would get taken advantage of and abused. Bullied, and turned into colonies for the stronger races, who would subject the weaker races to all kinds of torture.”

Sung-ho paid careful attention as he soaked up all of the information. This knowledge was already in Anastasia’s memory packet in the back of his mind, but he wanted to learn it first hand instead.

“Eventually, the higher beings banded together and set order into the universe, separating the weaker worlds and stronger worlds into Low and High rank worlds.“

“This, effectively, promoted healthier conflict where the strong would fight the strong and the weak would fight the weak.” Anastasia spoke softly, stuffing old memories into the back of her mind as she remembered the battles she had fought for her world.

“So what does all this have to do with unsupervised worlds?” Sung-ho asked with his ears pricked to listen.

“Well…” She paused for a moment and put a rather bewildered look on her face. “By all rights there shouldn’t be any! The higher beings took over and began supervision millions of years ago, and they still conduct searches for unsupervised worlds even today!” Anastasia approached Song-hu and looked at him seriously, hair spooling over her shoulders.

“Which is why if what I saw in your memories is true, that could mean there’s an unregistered magic system that’s completely unknown to the higher beings. If someone finds that and learns it, they could threaten the higher beings’ rule.”

Song-hu listened for a little bit longer before poking Anastasia’s cheek, smiling as he moved.

“Ah don’t worry so much about it, personally I’d rather get myself associated with this oh so beautiful magic system I’ve been hearing so much about!” He rubbed his hands excitedly as he prepared to achieve his dreams. “Bring on the knowledge Ana baby!”

“A-Ana baby?” It was the first time anyone had the guts to refer to her like that, honestly it wasn’t half bad and it put her in a decent mood.

“Well it pretty much just works like the games back in your world, at least from what I’m seeing, so go nuts! I’m actually rather intrigued on what your status will look like.”

“In that case then..” Song-hu reached his hand out, standing up and doing an unnecessary pose as if he were a Chuunibyou. “Status!”

“...please never do that again.” Anastasia averted her gaze from his cringy movements before flying up to get a look at his status.

“Hey Ana, what’re the usual stats like? Is a bonus of 20 pretty good?” Song-hu waited patiently on her, he had given her a rather deep mental blow so he could at least give her that much.

Contrary to his belief however, she gave him the finger and explained properly.

“The average person has a 10 in most areas, below 10 means you’re subpar and above 10 means you’re above average.”

“So..”

“Yeah you’re pretty terrible in every area except strength.” Anastasia laughed a little bit and a smile crossed her smooth lips as she continued to speak, enjoying her conversation with Song-hu.

“But a boost to all stats is really good, especially 20!” She began to speak properly, her clear voice ringing. “You essentially get the stats of two average people added every time you do it, which is good because you only get 4 points for every level up! Plus it gets harder to level up as time goes on, but you won’t have that problem in terms of stats once you reach the high levels.”

Anastasia spoke without thinking too much about her words, but to Song-hu she had just said that she thought he could reach the high levels, with no question.

He wasn’t entirely sure how to respond for a second, so he just blushed a bit and coughed to hide it, slightly embarrassed that Ana had made his heart skip a beat like that.

Meanwhile, the lady in question looked at Song-hu with a slightly confused expression before throwing it away.

“Alrighty then!” Song-hu pushed his embarrassment to the side, standing up and surging with energy.

“Now that we’ve confirmed a cheat ability, the magic system, and discussed the basic information needed, it’s time for us to sleep! Then we can get to work tomorrow!” Song-hu was a strangely positive man. Despite him being a stay-at-home virgin, he had a very attractive personality and was very optimistic about himself.

Watching this, Song-hu held back a snort of laughter and curled into bed, bringing the sheets over his body and making sure Anastasia would be able to breathe well.

‘Today’s been a really crazy day, but I can’t believe I got reincarnated! It’s time for me to start my super awesome new life!’ His heart thumped with excitement in his chest, and in reaction to that Anastasia smacked his chest with her small little hand.

As the morning sun brushed against Song-hu’s face, he slowly stretched his eyes open, yawning and pushing his arms out as he looked around him.

“Hm? Where’s Ana?” He grew slightly concerned, worrying about his reincarnation buddy before he felt muffled vibrations coming from his pants, quickly realising what had happened.

“Oh crap!” Song-hu quickly opened up the waistband on his pants and Anastasia flew out, gasping for breath as her cheeks were flushed red and stained with perspiration.

She glared at Song-hu for a while, silently judging him.

“I…I didn’t think you’d slip down in my sleep, sorry..”

“You’d better be!”

Anastasia harrumphed with energy, stamping her foot down in the air and tilting her head upwards. Though, she didn’t carry much threat when she smelled of Song-hu and was sweating bullets.

‘The smell wasn’t half bad in there to be honest, it was rather intoxicating~’

“Let’s uh, take a shower and get ready..”

“A-Agreed!”

The two quickly took a shower together, they were already inseparable reincarnation friends and had seen most of each other by now, plus the size difference made things impossible between them, so they didn’t spare much of a glance to each other as they undressed.

This doesn’t mean that there weren’t any glances, just brief ones.

Song-hu plugged up the sink and ran the warm water, creating a small hot tub for Anastasia to wash in as he twisted the knob on the shower.

“So what do you think we should do today?” Song-hu asked as he rubbed the body wash over his arms, bubbles foaming up as he cleaned himself.

“Hm, well we need to find our way into a dungeon, so let’s work on that first.” Anastasia’s legs broke through the surface of the water, her calves dipping back in as they formed an arc. “Once we’re in a dungeon we’ll work on leveling. Until then you should start practicing something to pick up a skill, your cheat ability makes you perfect for it.”

“I recommend the spear! It’s good for keeping distance and doing damage!” Anastasia added.

“Oooooh! That sounds perfect! Well, now we just need to find one to practice with..” Song-hu sifted through his memories for a bit, thinking to himself as the hot water ran down his shoulders.

Suddenly, he jerked back to life and snapped his wet fingers.

“I have one in my closet! The me in this world had dreams to be a Dungeon Stalker and eventually gave up on it, but his equipment is still put away!” Song-hu had to fight the urge to jump out of the shower right now so he could wield that spear.

Wouldn’t he look too cool if he brandished it?

“He wanted to be a Dungeon Stalker? Well I suppose that’s the dream of most kids in this world, the young ones back in my world had to be forced most of the time, I still remember the first time I got thrown into a dungeon~”

Anastasia reveled in memories of her past, sinking into the water and sighing in satisfaction as stress practically unwinded from her brow.
