I stared with my mouth opened so wide I was sure I had dislocated my jaw. I couldn't believe my eyes. A part of me so glad the aliens had attacked. It sounds horrible to say out loud, I know, but it was the truth.

My eyes were glued to his table and the three orbs sitting on them.
They were strange, and yet so iconic I doubted there was a single person back on Earth who hadn't heard of them. It was like starwars in that manner he supposes. You didn't need to watch a single damn thing, but you knew who Luke's father was and you knew about the space samurais/monks/wizards people.

Yup, un-fucking-believable. I know. My heart raced as I thought over my options. Oh god was I nervous. This... This was like picking a major in college, Or, I-dont-know, a marriage partner??
That was a close enough analogy I suppose, considering that they would literally be partners for life after I made my choice. My life literally depended on it.
