Chapter 12.5 (Short Omake)
POV Marco
Being the first division commander of the Whiteboard Pirates was not an easy job yoi. One would normally think about some purchases and paperwork as well as the strength to back it up. Hey! While we were pirates we were still civilized to a degree; we needed to be able to control our spendings and finances if we wanted to continue to do as we want without killing innocents.
Despite that, I felt more like a glorified babysitter than na actual pirate. More than 300 men on the Moby Dick and over half of them are complete man-childs. They need to be woken up, fed, talked to, played with, and all the stuff you are supposed to do with babies.
Then there are the hormonal teenagers running around the ship turning a member gay each month or so. The lucky ones who have a relationship with the nurses will never shut up about it like ‘I get pussy and you don’t’ and the sort. Calming them down before a fight starts is…well…not fun.

Finally, there’s the worst kind and that just so happens to be the 2nd Division Commander I saw tonight.
As Ace walked out of the guest room, for a second I thought everything was normal. You know, Ace doing typical Ace behavior-acting unorthodox. Perhaps he just tried to avoid his duties again and fell asleep in the empty guest room…except I remembered it wasn’t empty.
From what I remembered last, the room was currently inhabited by a very-tired, weakened, underage, cute little girl. The dots began to link as I made the connections…along with the fact that Ace always seemed to get along well with little children (stealing them ice cream and all) whenever we stopped on a particular island to restock.
Ace: Shit
Well, that confirmed it.
Me: ACE YOU PIECE OF SHIT COME BACK RIGHT HERE~~!!!!
The rest of the day was spent chasing around the burning pervert who yelled out excuses and denials. It ended when Pops heard about the issue as well and lariat-ing Ace straight into the deep seas below.
Personally I would have been fine leaving him there but it turned out Ace was innocent and we had Izu go and fish him out.
Shame. I could have done with a Ace-free day. Just another normal day on the Moby Dick.
