Chapter 4 A leek

Chapter 4 A leek

First chapter of the week. Four more to come!!!

Guys it's kind of awkward to ask, but could you please vote a bit better? It's bad for the novel if it's rated this bad and it will keep others from reading it.

As motivation I will write one more chapter if the ranking reaches 3 stars and three more chapters this week if it reaches 4 stars.

Don't  get me wrong, but I just think it's a pity if others don't give me a change because of a bad rating.

Chapter 4 A leek

After they left the strange young man they still needed about an hour until they finally were able to see the small gathering of houses that represented the human settlement Zes had found earlier.

The village was only composed out of a few dozen houses surrounded by a small wall of piled up stones that seperated the village from the fields surrounding it. There was only one small street leading through a hole in the wall into the village itself.

The houses the village was build of were mostly made of stone and wood resembling the style of middle aged architecture. A provincial charm was shown by it's simplicity and together with the endless fields around the village it made the picture of a farming village complete.

Exited Zes directed Christin towards the village. He finally would see some 'normal' humans and maybe even have the opportunity to get information's about the natural laws of this world and the realm in general.

After all both Christin and the young man from before couldn't really be descibed as normal, especially considering the situation they were in.

Half an hour they finally reached the entrance to the village as suddenly…..

BOOOOOOOM

…….

A house was blown up right before Zes eyes.

"It's a flag….."

He couldn't avoid to notice. To speak the truth he was quite stunned, who should expect a flag like this to appear as soon as be just neared the village? The fact that it really happened in such a way made him speechless and also kind of annoyed.

Christin on the other side was quite cheerful about the unexpected development. Carefree she replied.

"Jup seems like one"

"……Sigh~  let's go."

Still annoyed by the strange situation they were in, Zes gae up on the world.

They entered the village and the first thing they noticed was,

a huge pile of charred potatoes laying in the middle of the small village square. Fire was roaring all around the potatoes and a thick scend of backed potato was filling the air.

"It smells yummy!"

Christin suddenly said.

"Cabalism between vegetables !!!!!!"

Shocked Zes looked at Christin.

"But they sure have a lot of potatoes….."

Then suddenly another explosion rang out. A two story house suddenly caught fire and burned down within seconds. A voice accompanied the burning strom and echoed threw the small village.

"You vile humans, eating my poor brethren like they are mere food. You all deserve to die."

As Zes and Christin turned their attention into the direction the voice came from both startled. Christin's moth opened but no sound came out. Zes also shut down, but unlike Christin he was struggling hard to not start laughing. This was because the voice came from a …..

talking leek!

It had no arms or legs, only a mouth and two big eyes and was floating mid air surrounded by a couple of fire balls. It's green top was wipping in the air as it angrily opened it's mouth.

"Potatoes my brothers I will get revenge for you!"

Zes couldn't help but stare completely dumbfounded. Man, who wouldn't be stupefied if they saw a taking leek calling potatoes his brethren?

Before Zes could overcome his surprise the leek send of another batch of the fire balls around him. Tears were streaming out from two big eyes that were actually right over this strange leeks mouth.

"Die you monsters!"

"Um, master shouldn't we do something about this guy's?"

Christin who overcame the surprise faster then Zes urging called out for the still stunned later. Only now Zes overcame the speechlessness and woke up.

"Ah… yes, but no need to kill him. Just get me near to him and beat him a few times for raising a stupid flag like this."

"Sure!"

Having confirmed her order Christin suddenly charged forward leaving the entrance of the village and closing right upon the leek. With quick steps she overcame the distance in a moment, already being only a few steps from the leek.

By the time she neared it, the leek also already had noticed Christin who was charging towards him. A dangerous glint flickered in his strange 'out of place' eyes as he controlled two new fire balls to fire at the charging Christin. The latter immediately reacted adjusting her path a bit and dodging the fire balls by a small margin.

In the next moment she already had reached the leek. Using her two small hands she tried to grab the leek who then escaped by flying upwards.

This brought the fight into the sky.

Christin immediately ran to the next available house and used the front to climb up and jump into the air. Zes channeled some energy, forming small formations around her body that made it able for her to fly in the air as she once again chased behind the leek.

The one is question already noticed that he couldn't underestimate this strange little girl that had suddenly appeared from no were and this time he was more careful never letting Christin get to close to him. He rather chose ranged fight and threw one fire ball after another at Christin who just dodged them easily.

Angrily he cried.

"Where the heck does this crazy bitch come from?

This is fucking broken! First I had to wait and hide a whole day until the crazy guy finally left the village and now that he is away this small girl appears and is freakin powerful!"

More complains followed as he retreated further and further, not letting Christin come to close to him.

Now Christin showed just what her evolved body was cable of. She drew beautiful arcs as she had to dodge the flamming balls of fire and at the same time try to get a hold of the leek.

One fire ball after another missed her and flew further into the distance hitting into either one of the houses or a potato field before the city.

Zes had to admit that even though he pitied the villagers who lost home and food, he still felt pretty damn good seeing the potatoes that had become a nightmare for him burn.

But still, at one point he had to finally get a quick end out of this.

Zes who was continuously channeling energy finally had enough of this tag play and suddenly a hand formed out of energy, manifesting right in front of the leek, gabbing it and holding it in place. At the same time Christin suddenly picked up speed and finally got ahold of it.

This narrative has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. If you see it on Amazon, please report it.

The leek struggled in her hands as he cursed and complained wildly, but Christin had her hand closed tightly, leaving the leek no way to escape.

Just as she was about to laugh out loud about this new catch, Zes voice suddenly anxiously rang inside of her head.

"Ehm, …. I ran out of energy.

We are falling right now."

And they fell.

Zes had used up all the energy he had absorbed in the last days while holding both him and Christin in the air and at the same time catching the leek with the hand manifested out of energy. Finally, now he had used up all the energy he had absorbed previously and there was  no more energy to hold them in the air. In result Christin fell together with the leek and Zes, heading towards the unavoidable end….

the ground.

10 meters of free fall. Zes wasn't really sure if Christin's body could handle the damage resulting out of it, but he wasn't able to do anything. His energy reserves were completely drained and not a single drop of energy remained inside of him.

Without any other choices he had to watch them fall down all the way down.

Just a moment before they reached the ground the leek suddenly bursted out with energy and let's them stop mid air for a moment before finally falling the last meter.

He too had used up almost all energy in this fight and had  now become completely powerless. Weakly he hung in Christin's tightly gripped hand.

Christin on the other side was extremly well right now. This amount of running and jumping was nothing to her and as Zes did all the work of holding her in air she had practically done almost nothing this time around. Now she was just easily holding the leek in her right hand as she stood up.

"You are fine master?"

She asked while looking down onto her self. The vest she had worn earlier had opened completely uncovering her well proportioned body and her unripe private areas.

The villagers that had just come out from her hidings, especially the young ones felt the blood rise into their faces as they looked at the young beauty that had just saved them.

"I'm fine, but you DO enjoy this, don't you? Sure your not a exhibionist? At least cover yourself up or else this guy's will get a nosebleed."

Only giving a meaningful smile Christin wordlessly closed the vest, causing some sad emotions within the villagers.

One of them, a young man waited a moment to calm down from the beautiful view he was able to see ealier and then hesitating went  to Christin.

"l-lady, we thank you for saving us. Could you grace us with your names?"

Christin mustered the young man from head to shoes before flatly answering.

"Christin."

Despite the rude answer the young villager wasn't offended but rather found it normal. Someone in her age, wielding powers on her degree wouldn't have a simple background and it was normal for people of such high standing to be a bit arrogant and maybe rude while speaking to people of lower classes.

Nervously he began to thank Christin representing the whole village.

"Lady Christin, I-i thank you in the name of our village for saving us from this v-vile creature that tried to destroy our homes and kill us. Without you here we would certainly have found cruel and painful ends on the hands of this…."

He stopped for a moment looking at the still struggling leek in Christins hands.

"Leek."

"Yes…. leek."

He stared doubtfully on it.

" Either way, I'm also here to invite you to our villages elder. He would be honored if Lady would grace him with her presence."

"What should we do?"

Christin asked Zes. He only 'shrugged'.

"Just go with the flow."

Once again focusing onto the young villager Christin only faintly nodded. Seeing that the villager hesitated for a moment she impatiently yelled at him.

"What are you waiting for? Lead the way!"

10 minutes later Christin and with her Zes were standing in a small three story house located in the middle of the village. Well, small was only relative. In this village this three storey house already represented the biggest and most luxurious house only available for the village elder.

But if placed the small house into a small town it already only could be considered a second rate house for slightly wealthy families to live in.

Either way, in the house Christin was treated very politely, immediately led to the village elder and given a comfortable chair. She was also offered a drink or a small meal, but Christin politely declined the offer.

It wasn't that she really had to eat anything as she fed of Zes energy and seeing that the village was in a pretty bad spot after the leek destroyed a big parts of the fields she felt bad to receive food, she didn't really need.

Now she was sitting on the chair, the leek still in the right hand having given up his useless struggle and Zes residing inside of the ring on her forehead. Right in front of her was an elderly man looking like he was in his 60ties.

a long white bread reached all over his face and his kind face had two lively brown eyes. Wrinkles testified of the decades he had already spend on this planet and inside of his lively eyes experience and wisdom was obvious.

This very sympathetic elder was currently staring at the very point were the vest was ending and her naked legs began. A slightly perverted gaze went right over the place were her most important spot should be and then went up to the place were two small peaks were already bulging out a bit.

Zes didn't really know what to say about this.

"Is this world inhabited by perverted guys and old grandpa's that have nothing to do then to stare at a young girls undeveloped body?

Is this the world I truly belong to?"

Ok the last part wasn't really his thoughts. (Bad pun of the autor)

But it was really obvious that this old man had not yet forgotten the beauty of womanly flesh.

Christin didn't really mind it. She rather liked the feeling of being stared at and in fact if not for the fact that Zes wouldn't allow it, she probably would not even wear any clothes at all.

Faced with the peverted grandpa she didn't blush or got angry, but rather spread he legs a bit and made bit more of her legs visible for the grandpa.

The latter truly couldn't take his eyes of her now and even the leek who was on the sidelines still being held in her hands felt his eyes being draws towards a particular place.

"Hrhrm. So you wanted to speak me?"

An innocent smile blossomed over Christins face as she lifted the vest even a bit more.
