Lena stayed up the cliff casting spell as i fought off Blade and the yellow tribe member from approaching Lena.

"How did my assassin didn't kill you!"

"Oh that was your assassin? there are dead now" I said while grinning.

Blade was getting frustrated every minutes as we both battle it off while the yellow lizardman was trying to help Blade just to pass out immediately from the crash between me and Blade.

*Cling!*

We both battle it off dealing strong blow to our weapon making Blade weapon starting to crack abit from the damage.

Blade scream out "How are you this strong?!"

"You don't need to know"

I slash my sword violently as i start to buff my self with variant of buff making Blade back down every hit i make as he look scared just how overwhelming my power.

"Argh"

Blade was thrown to the ground from the force of my attack as he tried to get up immediately.

"Bia! Help me here!"

Blade turned around to ask for help from his partner just to see his partner was roasted alive by Lena.

"I did a great job aren't i?" Lena stand proudly on top the cliff without a scratch on her.

"There is no way im losing to you green bastard!" Blade was frustrated by this.

Blade charge forward while gathering every strength he can in his last hit while I stand there watching him.

"Take this! Sword aura slash!"

Blade jumped forward heading to my head with the intention to kill me here right now as i just calmly dodge the strike making the Strike explode on the area in a straight line destroying anything on it way as fire spread out.

*Gosh that was very dangerous*

Blade fall down to the floor as his mana was depleted with no strength in his arm either as the healer has arrived to take him away outside as an Portal open up infront of us.

"We won huh?"

"No way! we actually won?"

Lena levitate back down to the ground with fashion as she goes toward me happily.

"We did it!" Lena was hugging me tightly.

"You did a good job Lena. Let's get out first"

We go back through the portal to see a bunch of green lizardman standing in front of the portal while the other colour lizardman stand in the far away corner with envy and jealousy in their face. In the amidst of the crowd was my parent and the elder cheering for me as i look up the trial to see footage of me fighting Blade.

*This is embarrassing*

[You still managed to obtain the 1st place of the tournament, I say that pretty worth it!]

An announcement was heard from behind the trial as the organizer stand there while speaking loudly.

"The table has turned as the Green Scales tribe has won the tournament with 1st Place! Congratulation!"

"Woooo!!"

The green lizardman cheer out as they lift their hand in the crowd. The announcer speak again

"And that it for the Tournament! The prize has been given to the respective participant and the tribe"

[Congratulation Sebastian!]

With that, the tournament has ended for real and the elder has something to talk to me as well.

"Lacertus, come into my hut after we get back alright?"

"Alright elder"

The elder left very earlier as i was left in the stage. I felt someone to see something coming to me.. And it was my father??

"Son! You did it!"

My father was hugging me very tightly with no chance to even let me breathe a single time.

"You are suffocating me!"

"Ah sorry, i was too excited"

Father instead patted me in the back with my mother joining in too.

Obviously we get back on the carriage with my parent inside as they speak loudly praising me endlessly making my ear drum burst.

The chatter kept going on even after we get off the carriage.

*My eardrum gonna explode seriously*

We get back to the tribe entrance to see a bunch of decoration and table prepared with a terribly written "Congratulation" on a rag with my face beside on top of it.

*So they is this what the elder prepare for me? I guess it decent enough*

I entered the entrance to be met with a bunch of lizardman crowded in front of me congratulating me.

"Congratulation Lacertus!"

"You are amazing!"

Maybe this scene remind me when i got 1st place in the exam as my friend congratulate me such an nostalgic scene. While i was thanking them the elder has spoke something on top an platform.

"Quiet down! This is an party to celebrate the tribe and Lacertus victory!"

The noisy crowd quickly became silent as they stare toward the elder.

" Lacertus! Please come to the platform"

"Okay"

I walk through the lines where the lizardman get out of my way as i climb toward the platform with the elder.

"Congratulation on your win Lacertus, you are the greatest warrior ever in our tribe and we are grateful for you"

The elder kneel down infront of me as i stand there looking at him

"Lacertus, do you got any motivation speech for the tribe?"

I think a while for a motivation word before deciding to go with this. I get in front of the crowd as i did a fake cough before saying something.

"The green scales need to not give up and train harder for success!"

I was anxious if my speech is actually trash or they would laugh at me but it was the opposite.

"Green scales shall live forever!"

"Glory to the green scales"

The crowd raise their hand as they yell loudly with all of their voice as they were motivated by my trash speech.

*Whew, that end the way i wanted.*

The elder step on the platform again.

"And for that we are gonna celebrate it by holding a big celebration party to celebrate the winning. Eat anything you want!"

"Woo!!"

The lizardman began to eat any food they grab with their hand and drink the special beverage happily. While i took this chance to test out the transform skill that i got.

*I should go to a quiet area where they are no one watching*

I sneakily slip out of the party and hide behind an hut as i prepare to transform.

*So all i have to do is shout Transform right?*

"Transform!"

Black void began to cover my body as it eventually engulf me inside as my vision was blocked by endless darkness.

*I can't see anything at all!*

I was getting anxious every second looking at the endless darkness until the darkness eventually disappear to the scene.

I lift my hand to see it has covered with human skin now

*Woah! It been so long since i touch human skin now*

I began to inspect what has changed in my body, i could see that my tail is now gone while my height has reduce drastically.

*Ah i became shorter again*

I went to find a reflective spot to see my full human appearance as i eventually found a water puddle behind the fence as i look to myself.

*I have green hair? and why do my face look pretty handsome!*

I touch my face where it very smooth as i look in my body to see the armor i used when i was an lizardman.

*Thank god it actually don't make me become naked. Look like my armor stayed during the process?*

I decided to check my status window if something changed.

*Hmm, look like my stats doesn't changed at all nor my skill.*

I actually want to know what more with the transform skill so i began to experiment on my body, I use my imagination toward my hand as scales began appear on my hand transforming it back to my lizardman arm.

"Wow! so i can freely transform any of my limb?"

As i was still busy testing, i heard my father calling for my name.

"Son! where are you?"

*Oh no!*

I panicked when the voice began to get closer as i transform back to my lizardman form as fast i can.

I was able to transform barely in time as my father look at me near the puddle.

"Ah you are here Son! What are you doing here?"

my father approached me while holding his spear.

"Oh uh Father, i was just eating something behind the back"

"Ah i see, why not join us in the party instead?"

"I feel comfortable with people near me, so i stay out of it"

"Ah don't be like that! let's enjoy this time while it last"

"Huh?"

Before i knew it my father grab my back as he carried me in his arm with no sign of struggle at all.

"What are you doing! Bring me down now!"

"Don't be like that!"

"AHHHH"

So my father force me to be in the party as i was force to sit down in a table fill with food.

"This is so annoying.."

While i was casually munching on some meat and drink some normal water instead of the special beverage, my father approaches me with the special beverage.

"Are you not gonna party with the other lizardman?"

I look at him "I don't feel like it, i pretty to be alone for now"

"Ah i see"

While father was chatting with me, his 2 friend sneak on his back.

"Heyya Rogan! Are you speaking with your son?"

"Your son is amazing!"

The friend compliment me while talking to my father.

"Ehehehe!"

"Anyway Rogan the beverage is gonna run out, aren't you gonna let's it be taken from you?"

"Ah! My beverage! Wait for me!"

My father run as fast he can to the beverage stand with his friend following him behind laughing. After that I got back on my seat and wonder about something.

*I been thinking about leaving my family and the tribe behind to find another human when i got the transform skill.*

It was hard to make up my decision as i already think of them of my new family. To be honest i really want to meet another human myself.

*Agh This is such a tough decision for me. I will think about it when the party is over*

I waited and waited in the table alone as i keep thinking about the thought of leaving my family and the tribe. Until finally the party was over after hour of waiting and so everyone has go back to their house to sleep the late knight.

I waited for my parent to fall asleep as i turn back into my human form and sit down on the wood floor with a soft wood and a knife to carved out the lizardman language to say farewell to them. The letter was very hard to carved as i tend to forgot but i was able to breeze through. The content goes like this.

"To my beloved family and the tribe. Today im leaving this tribe to venture out the wilderness to my own decision. If you are reading this right now im probably already far away now so there is no point in searching for me. With that thank you so much for taking care of me i will always remember your kindness. Farewell - Lacertus

I packed up the necessary stuff in order to go outside the forest that include meat, weapon and map that i make myself when i survey my surrounding. My clothing was a big piece of rag as my clothes as an lizardman is way too big for me so i grabbed an random cloth i found in my parent house. Before i leave the tribe i went to my sleeping parent and cry silently as i knew this is the last time im gonna see them, those shiny green scales and the iconic symbol on both of their shoulder as I definitely gonna miss them.

"Goodbye, my parent and my tribe. Thank you so much for taking care of me"

I goes outside the house with a big backpack handmade with fur in the dead of night, thankfully none of them was awake as they are fast asleep from the party overnight. I walk to the entrance as i look back at my tribe and my house one last time before i venture out to find a civilization.

"Farewell my family and the tribe."

With a heavy heart i left the tribe as i venture through the deep swamp and forest far enough from their tribe.
