Years 73, Human finally arrives at the edge Blue Ocean galaxy. They spare no time to begin the preparation, Sebastian quickly assemble his old team. He and his old companion watch as the new generation leave first, Sebastian hold Enid hand as their daughter's ship left.

"Vita.. Good luck.." He waved at the his daughter ship.

"Do you think she will be fine on her own.." worried Enid

"She's our daughter, She'll be fine." Sebastian smile

"Boss! it's our turn." said Rob

Sebastian gather his companion in front of their ship. He look at Enid, Shanna, Rob, Alexander, Travis and Santi. They then board their new ship and depart from the hangar.

"Our assigned sector will be here." Travis show them the star chart. "Nearest star system.. is this one."

"Rob! set course!"

"Alrighty Boss!" Rob steer their ship and they-

"Bwahhh!" Shout Rein because someone suddenly poke his shoulder. he drop the book he was reading. He turn to see his classmate, Akane standing behind him, she cross her arms and look at him furious.

"Finally! I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"1 more warning-" scold the library drone "You're banned."

"Sorry.." She apologize to the drone "Come on.. Principal Barrett is waiting for us.."

"Wait..." said Rein, he return the book to the rack and then follow Akane. On the way out of the library, the underclass student mumbling and some even point at them.

"Hey look.. they are the seniors who just graduate few days ago." one of the student said.

"Wow.. i can't wait to lead my own team.." said a girl to her friend.

"Aw man.. i'm still 20, 5 years more.." a boy looks devastated

Rein and Akane left the library and head to the principal office, Rein see his 3 other classmates are waiting for them there.

"Oh! You found him." said Bulan, the black haired girl.

"Where did you found him?" asked the blonde hair Raphael.

"Must be the library." Anton, the boy with shaved hair grinned. He then open the principal office door "Sir! Rein is finally here."

The Principal then ask them to enter the room. He stand from her seat and distribute their Wristwatch. Rein look at his new watch, the symbol of officially becoming an explorer.

"Congratulation you 5, as your principal i am very proud of all you.." said the Principal "Now.. use your watch and register your team name and emblem, i believe I've already told you to come up with both few days ago."

"Yes, sir!" said all of them.

"Good." He sit at his desk and steepling his hand while looking at the monitor in front of him.

They then begin typing the name of their team. Rein always wanted to use a name similar to Sebastian's team name the Wishes Star, his childhood heroes. He type Wishing Stars and it got accepted.

"Oh, Wishing Stars," said The principal suddenly "that's a tough name to follow Mr. Garlant, but i hope you'll be as great as the legendary Wishes Star."

"Thank you, sir!"

Rein then start drawing his emblem. He hear a beeping sound.

"Pick another name, Mr. Smirnov." the Principal told Anton.

Rein look at the other, besides Anton, the other have finally register their team name. The Principal look at the monitor in front of him and comment.

"Cher Ami, that's a unique name Mr. Callum." He praise Raphael. "That's a.. well.. it's good name Miss Hendarto.." He look at Bulan. He then glance at Akane. "Miss Engel, Star Keychain?" The principal look puzzled.

Rein draw a simple emblem, a star inside a glass orb. He register his emblem and now he have to pick color for his ship, formal uniform and spacesuit. He decided with combination of white, gray and blue. He then hear another beeping sound, and another, Anton keep getting rejected which make them chuckle.

Rein submit his chosen colors and closed his watch. He look around, Anton finally get his team name while the other are still choosing their team colors. Few moments later, his classmate finally done with theirs. Rein hear a beeping sound from his watch, his classmate's watch also beeping, then the principal told them that he sent their departure schedule and the hangar bay where their assigned ship will be stationed. Rein check his watch, he is scheduled to depart tomorrow at noon.

They hear a knocking on the door. The principal ask them to come in, it's one of the mentor. She come to distribute their uniform and a badge with their drawing on it. Rein examine the badge and notice they have touch up his horrible drawing, it looks awesome now. He see the other are checking their badge too. The principal stood up from his seat.

"You 5, good luck on your journey.." The principal give them a salute. "And.. next time, tell me everything your stories, i'll be waiting." He smiles.

Rein and his classmate then saluted back at the principal and head out from his office. They walk to the gate and leave the academy.

"Hey! How about we go watch the sunset at the beach? Akane suddenly suggest

Rein look up and see the sky is getting red, he check his new watch and it's almost 5 a clock. "We should hurry then.."

"Alright, i wa-" Said Anton but Bulan pinch his arm.

"Sorry, but i have to pack my luggage" said Bulan. "Right, guys?" She glance at Anton and Raphael

"Oh! Sorry! you see, i have to depart at morning." said Anton while rubbing his arm.

Raphael nod. "Well, this is good bye then."

"Group hug!" shouted Bulan, she pulled everyone and hugged them. "I'm gonna miss you all!"

Bulan then let go everyone, she smile brightly. After saying their goodbyes, Anton, Bulan and Raphael went back to their home. Bulan give Akane a thumb up before she left.

Akane suddenly tucked Rein's hand. "Let's go!"

"Alright, alright." Rein see the food stall area. "Do you mind if i buy food and drinks first? "

Akane nod and they walk to the food stall area. The place is empty, they only see a little girl trying to order from a food maker machine but she can't reach the button. Rein wonder where's her parent or caretaker, Rein then approach the girl.

"Need help?" He asked

The little girl is surprised but she quickly nod.

"Which one?"

The girl point at the choco bar and a jug of milk shake. Rein swipe his card and push the buttons. A few moments later, the machine is done making them both. Rein take the choco bar and the jug and he handed it to the little girl.

"Thank you mister" said the little girl as she run, leaving the food stall area.

Rein notice that Akane is smiling at him. "Something on my face?" asked Rein confused

"Nothing.." Akane still smile.

They get a couple of box meals, drinks and ice creams. They then run to the beach because it almost sunset. They climb the clock tower near the beach, their usual place to gather after school. They arrive in time to see the sunset. They sit down at the ledge and begin eating the food they bring while seeing the sunset. As they eat, cats are gathering near them, Rein give them some of his food.

"I like sunset," said Akane while stroking a cat sleeping on her lap "It always warmth my heart."

"Yeah.. next time, we will finally be able to see the real sunset ." Rein open the bottle and take a zip.

Akane look at Rein for a moment and then said "Hey.. can i see your emblem?"

"Uh.. sure.." He open his bag and give Akane his badge. Akane also show him her badge, it's a star shaped key chain and it kind of cute. "By the way, what time you will be leaving tomorrow?" Rein asked

"At 9 am, you?"

"I'm at noon, i guess i will be the last to depart."

Akane return his badge and then take the ice cream from the bag. Rein put his badge back to his bag and also eat his ice cream. They look at the sunset, the skies is getting darker as the sun completely submerged under the sea , the stars are now replacing the view.

"I think it's time to go back" said Rein "it's dark already and we have to prepare for tomorrow."

They collect their trash and climb down the clock tower. Rein pet the cat before leaving the beach. They walk until they reach the crossroad which lead to Akane's house at the other side of the village.

"Well.. see you Akane.. and good luck on your journey." Rein offered his hand for a handshake. "Next time we meet, let's bring all our team; together with Bulan, Raphael and Anton."

"Rein.." Akane suddenly looked sad and hesitant. "I.." She then shake her head. "yeah.. it's a promise." She smile. Suddenly Akane kiss his cheek, making Rein blush.

"wha-"

Akane giggles. "See you, Rein.." She then ran back to her house, leaving Rein dumbfounded.

Rein was standing at the road for quiet some times and wondering about it before heading back to his house. Arriving at his house, he is greeted by the assist drone. He enter his room and put his bag on his bed, He unstrap the watch and put it on the desk, he then look at the clock on the wall and about to sort his belonging when the drone open the door and bring a full plate of pancake. Rein thanks the drone and quickly eat it while sorting his belonging. After packing his luggage, he ask the drone to help him clean the house and to call the service drone to store all the item he will not bring with him to the storage area.

Few hours later,they finally finished, the last service drone had left with his items and the house is clean as new. The drone offer him a glass of water of which he gladly accept. Rein enter his room and about to end his day when he hear his wristwatch is ringing. He take the watch and see an unknown ID is calling for him, he receive the call and a monitor appear.

"Rein!" called his mother "It's been a while, look at you now, you look like your father when he's young."

"Hey! I'm not old yet you know!" said his father

"Mom! Dad!"

"By the way.. Congratulation Rein! Sorry, we want to go back to celebrate your graduation, but we are busy."

"Don't worry mom." said Rein "Where are you now?"

"We are at a planet the local called Archen, we're about to meet with one of the ruler."

"Do they possess advanced technologies?" asked Rein

"Nah! they are still using ancient metal tools." said His father "We are pretending to be a traveling merchant to meet the ruler, rumour he like shiny things, so made this." His father then show him a golden mug.

Suddenly a humanoid bug like creature approach his parent. "Leol! Esther! they finally give us permit to enter the castle." Said the creature, it look at Rein, then it took off a device from it chest, removing the holo disguise. "Hi Rein.." She waves at Rein.

She's Azee, Rein remembered meeting her during his parent last visit 10 years ago.

"Okay.. Tell the other to get ready." said his mother "Sorry Rein.. we have to go.."

"Can't wait to work with you in the future," His father smirked "Partner."

Rein chuckle, his parents then wave at him and the transmission ended. "They never change.." he murmur. Rein put his watch on the desk and then lie down on the bed. He close his eyes and try to sleep, but he is too excited and can't wait for tomorrow.

The next day, he is awoken by the drone, he look at the clock and is surprised to see it almost noon. Rein quickly take a shower and wear his new uniform, he adjust his badge on his collar and then re check his luggage before went outside his house. He said goodbye to the drone and then head to the nearest tram station. Before boarding the tram to the designated hangar bay, he look back at the village.

Rein board the tram and after few minutes, he arrive the hangar bay. He look around and see a huge spaceship with the same color he picked parked at gate L. He approach it and notice there are peoples gathering at the ramp in front of his ship.

There are 8 peoples there, 2 of them, a really tall black man with bionic eyes which made him looks like wearing a thick sunglasses and a tan girl with short golden hair, both are wearing a security forces jacket. Beside them are 2 near identical short girls although the one with twin-tails hairstyle is slightly curvier. Rein see 2 mechahuman, one is wearing a bluish grey exosuit resembling a modern knight armor, he is short maybe Rein is taller than him; The other mechahuman is wearing a white exosuit that resemble a lab coat but he is tall, taller than the black man. The white Mechahuman is chatting with a black haired girl, she's also really tall, way taller than Rein. The last is a beautiful girl with skin as white as snow and long silver hair, She's the only one wearing the the uniform Rein design. The silver haired girl notice Rein and quickly approach him.

"Are you Rein Garlant?" She asked

"Yes i am, and.. you are?"

"I am Leena Sternritter. I am assigned as your teammates."

"Sternritter?" Rein is bewildered "are you related to madame high elder?"

"She's my great grandmother." She then asked Rein to follow her to meet with his new teammates.

"So.. he's our boss eh?" Said the grey mechahuman

Rein then introduced himself.

"I am Fabian Lysander," The white mechahuman introduced himself and bow towards Rein "I will be your team medic."

"Kincade Elba, at your service!" The black man smiles as he give Rein a salute.

The golden haired girl who stand next to Kincade said "Layla Bard." she then hides behind him. Rein notice both her arms are bionics.

"Sorry she's a bit shy. Anyway.. as you can see" Kincade point at his jacket. "We are former security forces."

The grey mechahuman then introduced himself. "Devine Altr, nice to meet you boss!" He said cheerfully

Devine is then shoved by the tall girl. She then pinched Rein cheek "Our leader is so cute.."

"Ou- Ouch!"

"Miss Lonbell! please, stop that.."

The tall girl stop pinching Rein, she giggled. "I am Verna Miralia Lonbell, and.. please just call me Verna."

One of the twins, the one with twin-tail hair introduced herself first. "My name is Dianna Luce, and.. this is my little sister, Sierra."

"Little sister?" Sierra suddenly pout "You only born few second early!"

Everyone laugh except Sierra who is still pouting. Rein then look at his spaceship, he never seen this model before and it is far larger than his parent's ship and the other exploration ship class he saw during his academy lesson.

"That is the Stellar class exploration ship, a 5th generation model that is still in development." Leena explained. "Thanks to miss Luce, they retrofitted the prototype and given it to us."

"Yeah! thanks to me we got the most advanced ship!" Sierra said smugly.

After finished introducing, Rein and his new teammates then board their ship. At the ship hangar bay, there are several ground vehicles of different types parked there, there's also 2 small submarine and a transport craft. Rein also notice 2 modified bikes, Kincade said both are belong him and Layla.

They then head upstairs, the middle section are for storage room, manufacturing room, med bay and a botanical room which is requested by Rosette. The top section are for the cabin and gathering area. The gathering area is connected to the bridge section. There's also an elevator that lead to the upper deck.

Rein choose a cabin near the gathering area. The cabin is spacious and there's a personal bathroom which is non existence on his parent's ship. He put all his luggage on the bed and head to the bridge. Devine already at the bridge, waiting for the other.

Few minutes later, the other finally arrives at the bridge. They all take their seats and Kincade volunteer to be the helmsman. They then hear someone talking to them when Kincade ignite the spaceship reactor. The unknown voice is the Ship AI, it requested Rein to give it name.

Rein think for a while, he then ask his teammates for suggestion. They all including Layla who is reluctant at first, but Kincade able to encourage her, comes up with several name. Finally after getting the name down to 2, they all agreed using the name that Layla comes up with.

"We will called you Asha." says Rein

"Acknowledge."The AI confirmed, it voice then changed to female "Asha, a female name mean Hope."

"Is it?" said Devine, he glance at Layla. "It's a beautiful name by the way."

Kincade then tell Asha to prepare for departure. The gate behind their ship open, the ship then slowly reverse entering the depressurized chamber. They hear a loud thump and the ship is turning towards the outer gate.

After the ship finished turning, the outer gate open and Kincade carefully steer the ship through the gate. They are finally at the outer space, Kincade ignite the ship thruster and they off to their destination, a constellation called Aurelius, which i filled with thousands of planets yet to be discovered. Rein look at the monitor and watch as Twilight Ocean, his home getting further and further, they also passed another capital ship.

"Good bye Victoria , i will see you again in the future..." said Fabian as they passed the capital ship.

"You're from Victoria?" ask Rein

"Yes, i believe Miss Londbell also from Victoria."

"Told you to called me Verna."

"Leena you are from Eisengrand, right?" asked Kincade.

Leena nod. "yes, I've been living with my great grandmother ever since my parent and grandparent died."

"uh, I'm sorry.." said Kincade

"Don't worries Mr. Elba, they died saving a world and i am proud of them."

"I too lost my dad years ago.." said Devine

"What happen to him?" Leena asked

"He feel ill after visiting a world. If I'm not mistaken, it's called Necrostem."

"Necrostem?" Rein confused

"it's a microbes that rot their host nerve. It's unreachable even with our advanced Medicine." Fabian explained. "Even the Watcher at the other galaxy is baffled with the microbes resilience

"I heard that from my mentor, that world is barred." said Kincade. "5 teams lost their life."

"I'm sorry to hear about your father, Devine. What about your mother?" Rein asked

"Oh! she's fine, she's not an explorer, she open a cafe at Automaton with my sisters." He waved his hand.

"You're from Automaton?"

"Yeah, but i went to Wild Havens, learning to be a Rangers."

"Wild Havens eh?"

"Hey, next time, let's visit Devine mother's Cafe." Verna suggest. They all nodded in agreement.

Kincade then look at Dianna and Sierra. "And what about you 2?" He asked. Kincade then tell about himself. "I was born in Aegis and Layla was from Morginia before moving to Aegis to join the Security forces."

"We are from Port Solace." said Sierra. "But Dianna moved to Wild Havens few years ago."

" You're a Rangers too, Dianna?"

"Actually Me and Devine were classmates." said Dianna "I'm surprised we are assigned together."

"I'm more surprised to be assigned on the same team with you." said Sierra

"I'm happy though, I missed you little sister.." She about hug Sierra, but she dodge.

This made Rein and the other chuckle. They then hear announcement from Asha that they will be arrive at their destination approximately 6 months.
