Chapter 2Jessica's(p.o.v)

Ohh!! will I be able to get a boyfriend, I love William but do not have the guts to confess for fear of being rejected. I know that I am not the type that caught too much attention in school which deepens the fear of being rejected in my heart.

Jessica held herself up and buried the love deep in her heart, I know that we are not from the same world although my family is not poor I know we can never be together.

After school, while I was going home with Freda, outside of the school we saw William standing on the highway may be waiting for his driver, and in a daze that he could not see the upcoming vehicle that was about to run over him. At that moment my heart stopped I ran up to him and push him to the ground but unfortunately, the car hit me instead of him and I landed on the ground beside him, although I was not seriously injured I got a fractured ankle and bruised knees and elbows.

William was shocked by the unexpected tragedy his entire body went numb and his brain blackout that he could not get up from the floor for a while, but Freda runs to help him out.

Oh my goodness what just happened I could not believe my eyes and why she came out of nowhere to save me but ended up in my place. I could not move an inch because my heart could not take what I was witnessing.

I went to her and pick her up in my arms just then my drivdriverived in time I opened the door of the back seat and put her inside and I sit at the corner of the car and make her lay down and put her head on my lap. Freda her friend get into the passenger seat and I urge the driver to drive to the nearest hospital and the fastest way or he will be fired, I was boiling inside blaming myself for my stupidity.

When we arrived at the hospital we checked in and went to see the doctor he treated her wounds and admitted her to the hospital so I went to drop Freda home. Afterward, I bought Jessica dinner, and stay with her at the hospital.

Jessica's(P.O.V)

When I was lifted in his arms his warm, firm arms which makes me bewildered. It was the best thing that ever happened to me being in his arms which was all I ever wanted.

In the hospital, he accompanied me the whole time, and when home to prepare for school the next morning and came in the afternoon to see me I was the happiest woman in the world.

**************After the incident she was discharged from the hospital she went back home, her father did not even realize that she was not home for two days and did not tend to find her whereabouts.

- MEET AT THE CAFE NEXT DOOR -

I was sitting in class during lunch break when William came to me and told me to meet after school at the coffee shop next to our school and left without another word.

After my last class, I walk out of the school and headed to the meeting place when I went inside I found him sitting waiting for me inside.

Jessica: hello!

William: hi, how are you doing hope your injuries are healed.Jessica: well, am fine thanks.William: well I came to meet you here today to thank you for saving my life the other day.Jessica: it's nothing no need to thank me I did what I should do.Williams: I want to ask you something; why did you save me without a second thought and care for your life?Jessica: well.....I...I...(stuttering).William: why can't you speak, please tell me the truth. I want to know your thoughts and reason. Jessica: ahh!! I kinda like you;(shy)head lower. William:(stunned) You like me to the point of risking your life for me?Jessica: yeah!! I love you.... for a very long time" Arrgh! like a secret crushed to be exact.

William: what a coincidence I am also attracted to you I don't know how but I like you as well.Jessica: what...did you say?

William: I said I like you and want you to be my girlfriend?? be my girlfriend, please? Ahh!! well... why me? we had the same answer, why do you like me? Well, I do but we are not from the same world, that's why I never choose to confess.

When Jessica reaches home she took a warm bath and lay on her bed just then William's call came in.

William: Hello!!Jessica: Hi...William: how are you... hope you reach home safe.Jessica: yes I am home just missing already(grinning)

William: (chuckle ) Oh!! darling miss you too, are you free Tomorrow after school I want us to go on a date.

Jessica: giggle, I will love that.William: then it's a deal tomorrow we will meet at the school gate.Jessica: okay!! good night loves you. William: love you too sweetheart.
