Field Report: Tempest

Hello, every single one of you beautiful people who kept up with me so far through the story. I just wanted to write a thank you note for you, the ones who gave me feedback, suggested new ideas and criticised my story. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

But what is this field report, Tempest? You might ask me, in this case, I must say that this chapter is a small announcement -or a report- from my side.

As you may or may not know, I am a university student. (Funny thing, Literature major here) and I started drafting Warzone during late 2018 (Christmas break) and most of the drafts were ready by the winter break. So far, until chapter 20 or so all the chapters were pretty much drafted and only required edits here and there. However, from Chapter 20 onwards, the story requires more work, like... a lot more work. Including actually sitting in front of a computer and writing notes on a notepad for hours work.

Unfortunately, for the past 3 weeks, I have been very busy with my university. I had several assignments to turn in and had 3 midterm exams so far. I realised that I am having trouble devoting my time to actually doing the work mentioned above. This is kinda the reason why the last few chapters were a bit "low quality" in comparison to earlier chapters. (shorter too) For the last week, I have been thinking on what to do and I finally have an answer for myself, and for you, amazing people who are following WARZONE: Modern Warfare in a Fantasy World. The series will be put on hiatus for now. Now, now, I can feel you might be angry at me because I promised that the series will be completed. Which I will definitely do. Basically, instead of writing chapters without a basic draft and only working with ideas, I want to give a full story all at once.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

So what's next? I will be continuing on working to improve my writing and WARZONE's story off the grid. The chapters will be written but will not be posted online, as I don't think there will be any schedule fit for me yet.

It is my fault to act on a whim and starting to publicise the few chapters I had completely written and was happy about. As most of the comments said, I should've laid a better story/roadmap than what happened in the last few chapters. I will be doing that now. When the chapters are written and arcs are complete, you might be spammed by the sites you follow my story on about sudden release of a ton of chapters. This also means that instead of having chapters daily/weekly/biweekly/monthly etc. I want to release arcs instead. So every time there is a new "chapter" notification. There will be a whole arc waiting for you.

I am really sorry if this news has made you sad. Again, it is my fault for not calculating the outcomes previously, well... I have gained some experience from these events though.

Tempest, signing off.
