In a dream, I heard someone calling for me, Emily.

A dream where a shapeless figure is asking me to leave this world, and promises me a better life if I accept

my life kind of sucks right now, I have no friends and no aspirations

I guess my family might miss me, but I'm just a useless girl who's just a burden on them.

I think they would be much better off without a useless pile of flesh like me.

All I'm doing is wasting their lives on me

So I said yes to the offer from the shapeless figure

Then the shapeless figure disappears, only to be replaced by a portal that opened right in front of me, sucking me tword the unknown

A cold feeling fills me looking at that portal

At that moment, I panicked. I felt like I had so much to live for in here. I could do so much here for me and for my family. What have I done!

I don't know what's on the other side! I don't want to leave!

But it kept pulling me, and I resisted and resisted and I could feel it pulling my body apart

But I feel a burning fire deep within my soul that I didn't want to leave

Then I woke up.

My room is quiet like nothing ever happened. I couldn't believe it I don't know what I thought was going to happen but I kept fighting and now I'm alive and well.

Then when I tried to wipe the sweat from my forehead I saw that I no longer have a forehead and then my 'hand' touches something very fleshy and wet

I panic and I pulled my hand Back, but only now that I realize I'm on the floor and I don't have four limbs, nor do I have a head, I am I'm just a pile of flesh!

I didn't know what to think, should I go to a hospital? Yeah I'm injured I got to go to the hospital, they have to fix me up, I don't know what happened to me but I'm still alive I could get someone put me back together!

I CAN'T BE THE FIRST ONE WHO MELTED INTO A PILE OF FLESH LIKE THIS!

I flail around like this for a while trying to grab a hold of something to get myself up, but it doesn't seem like I have bones to support my limbs anymore!

I start rolling all over the floor knocking things out and making a mess, but now I can move towards the door

Oh I'm screwed I'm so screwed... I try to extend a part of me towards the handle of the door it's difficult to control but it latches on and I simply drag it down

"N-Nice finally that was easier to control than I thought, I guess I'm not in such a bad situation, I could recover from this!"

I head all the way to the front door and I do the same trick again, this time it's much easier

I roll over to the street trying to find someone to help me get to the hospital, finally I see a woman with her daughter are walking back from the School gate not far away from them

I quickly roll over towards them while flailing around with a multitude of my "limbs" trying to grab their attention, hoping that they would come over to help, and to my surprise they looked straight at me, their eyes wide open, and their mouths agape, and then... They screamed

They screamed so loud that I thought my ears were going to burst, it was a death scream like they saw a monster or something

"D-Do I look that bad?"

They start running back towards the school screaming hysterically, at that moment everyone looks at me with the same horrified look on their faces, and they all yell as hard as they could, running and stepping over each other in utter fear and panic

soon after, the whole place in front of the school gate is empty

I look around at the empty place, at the front gate of a middle school with no one in sight with, with only the unlucky few who got stepped over by others, that are either dead, unconscious or twitching on the floor

I look at the horror of what just happened I couldn't move

"Why? Why did everyone go crazy away like that? Is... Is it me?"

I start to wonder if I could find something to look at myself with, so I turn to a nearby puddle of blood streaming from multiple corpses, and taking a look at its reflection, I see a horrific monster made of the hair, flesh and bone. With its limbs that look monstrous and horrifying twitching and moving around.

The creature reflected in front of me looks like a lovecraftian Eldritch monster abomination, I just couldn't describe it by words, with what looks like two red eyes, and a mouth, both somewhat human looking, adding to the creepiness factor even more

"I... Look like a monster"

I couldn't express it in any other way... I hope it is not too late to get help

*Woosh Woosh Woosh*

"Helicopters! It's probably someone who can help me out. I hope that they don't get scared"

immediately after the helicopters land special forces looking people exit it, surrounding me with their guns pointed at me from all directions

And then, three men dressed in black suits stand at the forefront, with their dark sunglasses looking down on me with an expressionless face

Right now I'm starting to think these People Aren't here to help me, they're here for me
