The voice told Lucifer that he had the power to change his future. That he alone could change his father’s mind…forever. Lucifer had cursed his father, his brothers, and his home. Now, he needs to figure out how to get out. The voice began to speak.

“Firstly, do you know where you are?” Lucifer looked around aimlessly and once more he saw nothing. Lucifer replied

“Is this the Prison of the Multiverse? The place that he talked about?”

“Yes, but you can’t see anything can you? What do you feel around you?” Lucifer tried to bring his arms towards him but they would not move. He continued to struggle to move, when to voice began to speak.

“Stop it, you are acting like a child. Wait, you don’t know what that is yet. Here let me help you.” Lucifer looked around, but still saw nothing until suddenly his eyes shot open. He saw colors once more and he saw the true picture of his prison. His arms where strung up by massive chains, the room that he was in was guarded by someone clad in complete black armor and he saw Lucifer’s eyes open. The guard drew his weapon when the voice began to speak.

“Now that you can see, you need to get out of here.” Lucifer pulled at his chains but they still would not move as the guard drew closer and closer the voice said

“Quickly! You need to get out of here or they will put somewhere I cannot get to you!” Lucifer pulled and pulled until anger and fear came over him. He pulled as hard as he could and the chains snapped. Lucifer dropped onto the ground and the guard was 5 feet away when the voice said

“Change now!” Lucifer changed into his new form and his the flames from his wings burned the guard as Lucifer flew to the guard and looked directly into his eyes. The guard began to scream as he stared in the darkness of Lucifer’s eyes and it seemed like he drew the life from his body. Lucifer grabbed the guard by his chest plate and lifted him into the air as he said

“I’m sorry” and the guard died in his arm. Lucifer used his mind to kill the guard and with the guard’s lifeless body in his hand he dropped it to the ground. When the voice began to say.

“Wow, that took me a lot longer to figure out than it took you, no matter grab the keys off the wall and lets go.” Lucifer saw a set of heavy chain keys on the wall and grabbed them. As he exited his room he heard a familiar voice down the long hallway. It was the voice of his brother Vulcan, he was screaming in anguish and Lucifer ran towards his voice. Meanwhile, the voice said

“What are you doing? We need to escape!” Lucifer replied

“I am saving my brother.” Lucifer came up to the door that sounded like Vulcan was behind and used his keys to unlock the door. Lucifer threw the door open and saw 3 mysterious creatures torturing his brother. Lucifer charged the one nearest him and used his wings to set him ablaze. He then raised his hand and the other two flew to the wall behind Vulcan. Lucifer then unlocked the chains on his brother who looked close to death. He set him next to the door, as he returned to the two others and killed both by ripping out their throats. He went back to his brother and knelt beside him

“Vulcan, its me, Lucifer. What were they doing to you?” Vulcan looked at his brother and said

“They were trying to interrogate me, they wanted me to tell them my secrets. I did not give them anything…agh….on that table hand my that hammer.” Lucifer grabbed the hammer and gave it to Vulcan. Vulcan smashed the hammer on his leg and his wounds began to heal just enough for him to be able to stand.

“Alright, we need to find the others and get out of here.”

“The others, they are still alive?”

“Yes, but not for long. They are interrogating them as well. These are the creatures that we fought in the outer city when father was creating the new world. I’ll explain more later, but we need to move!” Lucifer and Vulcan ran out of the room as they began to listen for any sign for their brothers. They searched the entire hall, when they came upon the a doorway with a sign above it. They could not read it, but they entered. Their they found both Ares and Jupiter. Jupiter had been beaten to a pulp, while Ares looked no worse than he was in the battle. Lucifer unlocked both of them from their chains and Jupiter began to speak

“They….they beat me…..they wanted Ares to talk……he would not…..they wanted his……guardsman….” Lucifer picked up his brother as the voice began to speak to him

“Alright now you got them, I can only keep the door open for so long before they come back, let’s go!” Lucifer looked at his brothers and said

“We can talk and heal later, we need to leave now! Follow me!” Ares picked up the now passed out Jupiter and put him on his back while Vulcan and Lucifer ran ahead. Down the hall was a shimmering door that they passed through and as they came through it, it closed behind them. They ended up on a tall cliffside and Ares set Jupiter down and sat beside him Lucifer looked out over the cliff and saw a large black citadel. Its towers were sharp and pointed and the entire base was covered in flames. This place was not meant for Angels or Humans. This was the farthest place from the light, yet Lucifer felt like he belonged here. The voice began to say

“Marvelous isn’t it. It will be yours one day, one day very soon.” Lucifer replied

“This? This will be mine?”

“Yes, but you will need their help. It took me longer to get mine out, but since you wanted them so badly then this step will be a lot easier.

“They are my brothers and I will not abandon them. Now tell me what I must do next.”

“You see the bridge that leads up to the citadel. You will siege from there and conquer the citadel. From their your will rule this plane.”

“How will I do this? I have no army, no forge , and no weapons.”

“You have the greatest forge master in the universe, the greatest warrior in the universe, and the greatest general in the universe. You will use them and their abilities.”

“Why would they do this?”

“Like you said they are your brothers and they followed you this far. Convince them to follow you and you will be able to do this….I swear it.”

Lucifer turned from the cliff and came back to his brothers and knelt before them. Jupiter was still knocked out, Ares was holding up his head, and Vulcan has patching himself up. Lucifer asked Vulcan if he could help with Jupiter and he replied

“No, this little trick only works on me and my trinkets.”

“Ares is there any trick you know of?” Ares replied

“Time, all we need to do is wait and he should pull through.”

The voice whispered in Lucifer’s ear

“Place your hand on his wound, then repeat after me.”

Lucifer placed his hand on Jupiter’s wound and began to speak, but it was not in a tongue familiar to Angels or Humans. Lucifer finished the statement and in his head, he asked

“What did I just say?” The voice responded

“That was demonic, the language of this realm and one that I will teach you. It will take some time but with it, you can do some very impressive things. Watch your brother.”

Jupiter’s wound healed faster than anything they had seen; it took mere moments rather than a few days. Jupiter woke up and looked at his brothers. He sat up and saw their eyes in amazement. He looked down at his wound that had completely disappeared. He asked

“What happened?” Ares said

“Lucifer healed you, instantly”

Jupiter looked at his brother and spoke

“Thank you, brother, I am in your debt. Now, where are we?”

Lucifer replied

“We were in the Prison of the Multiverse”

Lucifer began to explain to them how he was able to get out. He did not tell them of the voice, but he did show them his new form. Lucifer stood up and changed into his form. His brothers stared as their once Angelic brother was now a dark amalgamation of his former self. The only one to answer would be Jupiter.

“How…how did you learn to do this?” Lucifer replied

“I did what no Angel did before, I made a choice. I chose to curse our father and those who did not fight for us. Our cause was the right one and you all know this that is why you fought with me is it not?”

Jupiter replied

“We fought with you because you are our brother. You fought with us because we trusted you. I still trust you and I will stand with until the very end.”

Vulcan and Ares both agreed with Jupiter and Lucifer eyes teared up. He knew they meant it, but he knew what they were doing was wrong, just as when he did it. Lucifer began to speak

“Now, if you are willing to follow me further then repeat after me. I CURSE OUR FATHER! I CURSE HIS WRETCHED RACE OF HUMANS WHO WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING! I CURSE MY BROTHERS WHO COULD NOT SEE THE TRUE VISION OF MY WORK! I CURSE HEAVEN AND ALL OF ITS GLORY FOR MY NEW DOMAIN!”

His brothers stood up and repeated with all of their might. Jupiter was first in his transformation. His red hair turned into flames of dark red and his wings were made of blue flame. Vulcan’s hair turned from black to silver and his wings were formed of steel. Finally, Ares his hair of brown turned into a jet black and his wings were formed of red flames. Once they completed their transformations they knelt before Lucifer. Lucifer spoke

“Our plan is simple but will take some time. We will rule this realm not for our father, but for us. Now, make this oath as you did once before to serve until our task is done.” They each agreed and the voice whispered to Lucifer

“Now that wasn’t so hard was it.”
