Iranueel followed her after some seconds reflecting if he should this trouble magnet, but she seemed to be a fun to be around and so he decided to walked the same way for a while. He walked by her side and watched the surrounding area closer for any potential enemies.
“So what’s your next step? Trying to get out of town is obvious but where to? I mean, the world is a big place, so where exactly are you or should I say, we, go?”
Misako looked to him with a mischievous smile.
“So you will follow me? That’s nice! Really! It has been some time since I had someone other than my goons follow me. They have always been somewhat silent, you know! By the way, my first power is to raise dead. I was really good before this death game of my bill. But now, I can start from scratch. On the other hand I know the drill already for getting my powers back.”
She stared into the air and was kind of melancholic for some seconds.
“I lost quite a good portion of my friends after I went for the necromancer route. Perhaps I should take another way for the future.”
Iranueel nodded quite enthusiastic.
“Please do that! I hate the Undead! I always said, only a destroyed undead is a good one! Perhaps you could do some summoning? It would also help to distract your enemies from your track. Necromancer have a way to raise suspicion, you know!”
She scowled to him and put a raised finger into his face.
“To raise dead isn’t something bad in itself. I used the power for getting last messages to surviving members of family in my old days. But after some time my services got used ever lesser and people got scared of me, so I had to leave my hometown and went on a journey!”
She turned and walked to a restaurant on the other side of the street. Iranueel could see that its main dish were any kind of noodles. But its outer appearance didn’t tell of high sanitary standards.
Misako walked to the door and took a fast look around and entered. He followed her closely.
The room had many niches with old used red leather couches and metal tables. And some of the windows had cracks in them. One even had a bad looking bullet hole in it. The red leather of the couch had a deeper shade of colour than the others.
Iranueel took a closer look at the place and saw a golden sphere. As inconspicuous as possible he took the energy into himself after sitting exactly at the spot.
Misako looked alarmed and watched him alerted.
“I know, you did something just now, but I don’t know what! There was a short rise of ambient power leaking from you. We just met and I know I have no right to inquire any further if you do not want to share your powers but I noticed that your level rose by almost two levels!”
Iranueel was now level 15 after all and after concentrating on Misako he could see her level of awesome 2. So she really didn’t have the power to revive herself.
He contemplated for some seconds and opened his mouth to say something when he was interrupted.
“What do you want to drink and eat?”
Surprised he looked to his side. The waitress had sneaked up to him without causing tzhe slightest noise. Misako didn’t seem to be intrigued, so he tried to be as cool as possible.
Hs companion didn’t make any signs of ordering for herself so he made his choices.

“Just bring us some Coke and the dish of the day for starters!”
The woman nodded and walked to the counter. Iranueel watched her for some seconds and then looked back to Misako.
“I will tell you the reason for this increase in level if you take a blood oath to keep my secret for yourself! Just to be clear, the oath will make sure to kill you permanently if you reveal anything about my special power!”
Misako seemed shocked and reflected for almost half a minute about her answer. Her curiosity was obvious.
“Ok?! Now I’m really intrigued! If I would take the oath, are there some benefits in for me?”
Iranueel smirked and nodded.
“Hell yeah, but you would be bound to me after it!”
She grinned malicious.
“I see, you are some kind of disciple of Magnus trying to get my lovely ass! And after completing a quest to rescue me he gave your reward!”
She emanated an ice-cold aura and Iranueel could see her hands moving to the place where she hid her knife.
He raised his hands bewildered.
“Who is Magnus? And i’m definitely no ones follower! Believe me, I am just a starter avatar trying to defend his secrets!”
Cautious she watched his every movement.
“This might be the truth but I have to be certain! This lecherous idiot of a half-deity tries to get me since almost half a century. I will check your aura for any traces of his influence. If you do anything funny I will try to kill you immediately, you understand?”
Iranueel gulped and gave a short nod as answer.
He sensed something touch his mind and pressure against it. It wasn’t invasive and not unpleasant so he didn’t try to block it.
Misako seemed content and he could see her stress level declining.
“You appear to be clean of Magnus influence, but you have a real odd aura. There is a touch of power in it I have only seen by observing gods. You are a real enigma, but a nice one as far as my senses reach!”
She made a serious face and said.
“I will take the oath to protect your secret and never reveal it to anyone without your consent. If I should break my oath, I will die immediately and permanent!”
After vowing the oath she took a fast cut with her knife into her hand and reached out with it to Iranueel.
“I take your oath as presented and will help you with my power as long as you do nothing unreasonable to endanger me!”
Iranueel toke his own knife and also made a cut into his hand and then took Misakos hand and shaked it.
He felt a powerful jolt shaking his very being and knew that the oath was accepted by the powers that are.
Misako put on a joyful face and grinned like she just got the first price in the lottery.
“Now I am really curious what secret is necessary to be protected by such an oath!”
Iranueel smiled somewhat uneasy.
“I possess the power to revive you the same way any god would do with his followers. But I am no god as you can see clearly. If any of them knows of my ability, they will try anything to get me killed for good!”
Misako was shocked beyond reason.
“Holy shit! Now that’s something! We will have to get of town as fast as possible now. Preferably to a place where no one is listening at every corner. Seems I have gotten the fat chance this time!”
