Updated Announcement!

I've deleted the previous two announcements, because I am forced to continue to use a chapter release as an announcement system and I don't want a bunch of announcements cluttering up the end of this story.

Either way, I'll get straight to the point. For those who are wondering: I have managed to find a job, I've moved, and my life is somewhat more stable. And the big news is this:

I have managed to use this new stability to begin rewriting Wander West, In Shadow. You might notice that I've changed the title of this story to reflect that it's a rough draft. And I have currently rewritten the very first Glimmerling "arc", though it's less a rewriting and more a major expansion (it is now 170k+ words, as opposed to 30k words in this rough draft, so there is a LOT of new stuff). You can find it here:

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

This isn't what I initially had planned. But I switched to this for a simple reason: Publishers I contacted were actually interested in my story, and yet of the 3 arcs that the story is currently composed of, The Glimmerling was by far the shortest by a lopsided mile. It's also probably the weakest writing. So I always wanted to expand it to bring it more in line with the length of the other 2 arcs. And I always wanted to edit the work overall, because I had ideas I wanted to add in.

Anyway, you don't need to worry about whether or not it will be finished. The rewritten Glimmerling arc is done right now, it's 20+ chapters and 170k+ words, and I will be posting a chapter a day (on weekdays) until it is all out, and I've released the first 4 chapters in one big drop (which covers the story up until Martimeos meets Elyse). I would post it all right now, except I'd love to give it a chance to see if RR's algorithm can do something for it.

Maybe you'll love the new version, maybe you'll hate it. I don't know! I won't hold it against you if you do. Either way, I wanted to keep this short for now - if you have any questions for me, I'll answer them in the comments!
