Thank you for reading Wakiagaru! It originally began as a NaNoWriMo draft in 2018. I completed 55,000 words of the story during that November. But I got busy afterward. I moved, spent two months in Panama on a “sort of vacation” and wrote another 30,000 or so words while there. I then left Panama after two months and moved to Italy. I got lazy and let the story sit for several months before finally picking it up again due to the encouragement of a friend. Thank you, Dina!
On that note, I’ll plug her story a bit. Her story is called Copper Claws, here on Royal Road as well, but don’t expect her story to be anything like Wakiagaru.
Anyway, so I got writing the last thirty percent or so and got it all finished up. On this last part of Wakiagaru, I decided to experiment. I wrote in a non-chronological fashion, and with there being so many scenes, it was really hard to get everything in the proper order. It really scrambled my brain. The edit took a while, too. But I finally got Wakiagaru onto Royal Road, which I had been planning for a while now.
You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.
If you want an epub or mobi copy of the book, please send me a PM on Royal Road and I can get one to you.
A part of me almost feels sad. I feel like we’ve come to an end of a journey. But, it’s still not over! Now, my followers (my acolytes!)—no, I’m just kidding—but those of you who are following and have favorited the story, now that you’ve read the whole book, feel free to drop any comments or reviews. Ratings are super helpful during this time of growth up to about December third. Right now Wakiagaru is fighting an unseen battle for a spot on the TRENDING list. Feedback is appreciated, so have at it! Also, if you’ve enjoyed Wakiagaru, tell your friends.
See you with the next one!
