I looked at the trees faraway, as if reminiscing something.

“Master huh? It’s quite a while hearing that words… Very well. With that conviction of yours, there’s no way I could possibly reject you”

“M-Master! I swear that I’ll be your greatest disciple!”

“I have high expectation”

After that, Chris rode his horse and left while raising his hands proudly.

“Fufufufu, take care of Chris, Ma-as-ter~”

When Celestia said that in a teasing manner, I realize how embarrassing that was as my face reddened in shame. She tapped my shoulder while saying “Let’s keep going, Ma-as-ter~”

As we were standing in front of the huge metal gate, we were greeted by an old man wearing a black suit. It seems like he’s the butler of this mansion.

The old man lightly bows before he begins his introduction.

He opens the gate and let us inside. As I walk, I noticed some familiar flowers.

Sebastian heard me and answered my question while still walking.

She looked so diligent and mature, beautiful too. After we reached her, she started to speak.

“M’lady is inside this room”

With her instruction, she let us enter the room. Upon opening the door, I saw a noble lady with blonde hair and pale eyes. She’s holding a tea cup on her hand, silently sipping from it.

“Sebastian?” She said. Sebastian quickly goes to her side.

“I am here M’lady”

“Do we have a guest?”

“Yes M’lady” Once he said that, he looked at us, encouraging to introduce ourselves. Celestia quickly pick this up and talked with her usual carefree voice.

“Hello Thea~ How are you~” The girl’s eyes widen in shock, but she soon smile, it is a lovely smile.

“I am fine Miss Celestia”

Weird… This girl, she’s acting like she can’t see us… Then, the woman outside enters and stand beside me, she puts her hands near my ear and whisper “M’lady is blind, but don’t let that get you because she’s quite sharp”

I nodded and looked at the lady noble again. Her hair were being swayed by the wind gently, she’s wearing a blue dress that suits her perfectly.

“I guess that there’s another person in this room?”

How did she know? Don’t tell me this girl had a super hearing, using echo location to detect her enemies!!? That’s cheating!

“My name is Reuces, I’m a new resident in this village, nice to meet you Miss Thea”

She waves her hand in a surprise manner, and panicky said “Just Thea is fine”

Thea glanced at me with a soft smile. “You have a good heart Reuces, and a funny one too”

She covered her mouth and starts to chuckle. I scratched my cheek in embarrassment as I didn’t know what to do. Again, the woman beside me talked.

“M’lady can’t see with her eyes but with her heart. She can see the true nature of people around her”

What! That’s so cool! I want that too! I want to be called the “Blind Master of Hearts” I don’t know what that means but I want it!

For some reason, Thea laughs again while looking at me. C-can she read my thoughts or something like that! Oowaaa that’s so embarrassing.

With my crimson face and the silent room, the only thing we can hear is the chuckle of Thea.

Celestia took out a bag from her pocket.

Sebastian received the bag and hand it over to Thea. Holding the bag to her hand, Thea squeeze the bag repeatedly.

“Thank you Celestia”

“You’re welcome~! Then, we will take our leave~”

“Now?”

Thea looked sad when Celestia said that we’re leaving. Seeing this depressed creature before me, I can’t help but to offer some consoling words.

“If I have time, I’ll soon visit this mansion again… That is if Thea wants it”

Her gloomy face bloom instantly. She clasped her hands and tilts her head to the left.

We remained quiet as we reached the final house. It’s located near the beach; this is the beach where I was found base on Cresin’s description.

The sound of water crushing through the sands and the strong gust of winds enter my ears. The glass like shells reflects the orange tint of the sun, making it looks like a star on the beach.

Celestia reached for the door and knocked three times. Second has passed and the door open, revealing an old woman wearing an apron. Her hair is already white and her eyes faintly losses its blue color.

“Oh… What brings you here Celestia?” It’s an old and weary voice, but gentle nevertheless.

“Here, please take this”

Once again, Celestia reached out for her pocket. On her hand is a necklace. It’s a silver necklace with amber attached to it.

“You found it”

“Yes~ Please don’t lose it again~”

“I will… Hhmm? Who’s this young man?”

I unconsciously smiled, realizing that this is the last time that I would introduce myself to the villager.

“My name is Reuces, from now on, I will live in this small village. Please take care of me”

“A new resident, I see. My name is Tura, I am the owner of this beach. If you want to fish here, I know some plenty good fishing spot. Please make sure to visit”

“Yes, that’s for sure”

“Well, if you have no business here, please continue you date”

Tura said in a joking tone as she closed the door lightly.

“That’s quick” I said. I stare at the sea, which is radiant because of the blazing sun. The waves mirrored the illumination, making a dance of light that’s only possible here.

“I’ll continue the plan of ‘meeting all the villager’ tomorrow”

“No need, you’ve met them all~ Well, not all actually since some of them left the village for some business~”

“Eh? EEHH??”

“Hhmm~?”

“N-nothing”

“I’m going home then~ It’s bad leaving the business behind isn’t~?”

“Wait”

I stopped her when she’s about to walk away. She turned to me with perplexed gaze.

“You said that you have a business with other villager but… That’s a lie right?”

“What are you saying~? You see it right? I do have a business with them~”

“I see, well… I don’t have any proof. But… If there’s a chance that you helped me introducing myself to the villager, I just wanted to say thank you”

What’s happening to me? This is not me, I’m acting like I’m important or something… This girl would never care for someone like me but… If there’s a small chance that she is, I would like to thank her, because that’s the only thing I could give her.

Her face became astonished for a moment, then she giggled like she always do. I don’t know if it’s because of the orange hue of the sun but, her face seems a little bit redder than usual.

“Fufufufu~ Quite a lady killer eh~”

She turned her back to me and mutters something really softly, I didn’t hear it. But I’m sure she did.

“But it’s not bad at all~”
