A young man with a ferret approaches you. The ferret is fidgety as it tries to rest on his shoulder.
“It’s nice to see everyone. Lucy and I are a bit annoyed right now. She is till demanding a bath, I’m sure you understand.” Riley said. He walked over to the bench and sat down before you. “Alright then, we’re pretty excited about the academy. I saw what looked like a coliseum on the horizon. Lucy is hoping we get to go duel, she wants a little revenge on Primrose, me, I’m not so sure.” The little ferret scurried to his lap as he sat and was barking excitedly. “We both think Primrose is a little off, you know? Something just isn’t adding up, Lucy can sense these things. Bloody hell Lucy stop it!” The ferret settle down and came to a rest in his lap.
“So we approach the first 2 weeks time where you have been witnessing a small glimpse into our lives. I’m glad you all stuck around, because I think things are about to get interesting. I’ve met so many people since coming to Rime and I’m glad all of you came along for the ride. That Allary girl seems an odd duck and her powers might be impressive some day if she gets control. I’m not sure what to think of Gideon, he seemed the quiet and harmless sort until he bashed that guy’s face in. The others all seems like stand up adventurers, but we shall see.” The boy went quiet and sat in thought.

Riley looked back up to you. “I hope this Academy has real showers, otherwise I might need to go jump in the lake or something, but a shower sounds real nice. Well I think the adventure will continue on soon, so I better get moving. One last thing, My friends and I would love to meet your friends, so share and spread the word if you would.”
The boy stood and the ferret scurried onto his shoulder, considered climbing back into the backpack, then seemed to reconsider. Riley stopped and turn back to look your way. “Rime is full of twists and turns, you never know where that next alley might take you.” With that he left, leaving you to wait for the next chapter.
