Jack rose from his slumber on the couch. It was before dawn and everyone else was still asleep. He crept over from the couch to the counter, which was barely his body length away from his sleeping crewmates. There was a black stove that came up to his waist and a microwave just above his head. There was no silverware in the very few drawers that there were, and most importantly, no food in the cabinets. Jack grimaced as his stomach growled. He elected to look around the underbelly of the plane. Throught the strange mana string he had felt the day before, he knew something was down there.
Jack knew that it was too cold at the current moment to go outside, and that he may need easy access to that compartment while airborne, so he used his passive to create a trapdoor that opened into stairs that led into the underbelly. He felt more tired than the night before already. Not good, that drained me more than the last time. The underbelly proved to have several boxes labeled "Rations". He moved closer and received a notification:

Would you like to use the common skill [Observe] on these boxes?

He selected yes.

Void Rations
Description: rations made for the crew of Voider-00. Have all the nutrients that human bodies need. Only lasts so long but can get the crew on their feet until they can find their own food. One box= one day's rations. Do not mix with certain medical spells, this may cause complications.

Convenient. Jack lifted one of the boxes and brought it upstairs. He came up to find Mathew tinkering with his skills in front of the flower vines. The flowers now had seeds that were ready to be plucked. Mathew greeted Jack with a wave and returned to his tinkering. Jim was still snoring and leaning on a quite vexed Xanthian. "Where's David?", Jack inquired to Mathew. "He's sitting on the wing outside watching the sunrise.", Mathew gave off a relieved sigh when Jack set the box labeled "Rations" down on the floor next to him. Jack opened the box with his trusty pocket knife. There was food in there, just not what he expected.
There were what seemed like granola bars with some offbrand label on them and water bottles as well. The labels on the bars read "Void Bar", and the water bottles had no labels. The nutritional value on the back had 110% on all of the Daily Values and each bar had 100mg of caffeine. Thank God, Jack thought as he walked over to one of the doors to call David inside for breakfast.
David came in for breakfast. Jim finally woke up when he heard the door open to let David back in. They all sat down on the couches again for breakfast on the couch. Jack started the plane with his passive after breakfast. Luckily no druid vomit this time.
Jack didn't have to use [Mobile Runway] for the takeoff, but the caffeine replenished his mana in case he had to. Jack internally sighed with relief. After the group reached the clouds they all received a message:

"You guys want a turret", Jack knew that they would need it. "We got another point right? Let's get a garden so we can plant food!", Mathew said with enthusiasm towards druidry. "A big gun and some food sounds good to me", said David as Jim and Xanthian nodded along. There were metal popping and bending sounds as a hatch opened up to a bubble on the roof. At the same time, a thud resounded through to them from the next corridor on Jack's left. Nobody had been there yet. Jim stood up and opened the door, and everyone followed suit. They came across a room with soil encased in wooden logs making a rectangular shape. There was sunlight pouring into the room from two large windows that spanned the entire middle of both corridor walls. There was nothing in the soil, not yet.

Mathew pulled some sunflower vine seeds out of the back pocket of his jeans and planted them evenly spaced from each other. He walked over to one of the seeds and released the strange pollen-like substance,"My skill says that I can mutate plants with certain substances inside my body, or just stimulate growth. I'm adding a little caffeine to this one to make what I'll call a 'JitterFlower'.", he smiled at the little sprout as it broke out of the dry soil. He signaled for Jack's water bottle, which still had about a fourth of the water left in it and Jack handed it over. Mathew poured the rest of the water onto the JitterFlower sprout and it instantly grew a little more. "Well shit Mathew, we just need a coffee machine and we've got flower coffee!"
Time passed and they flew in a random direction. Jack was flying, Mathew was tending to the flowers, and David was asleep. Jim was tending to the turret, or more accurately, lighting up the clouds like birthday candles. Xanthian was busy enchanting the water bottles. He tried a couple of times, failing each attempt to get the enchantment that he wanted. Then, success! He got a notification

Xanthian collapsed from mana deficiency, but he got no rest. A loud roar resounded throughout the entire airspace as the crew received a message:
###############################
Warning! You have entered into battle with a new enemy!
Popth Tart Wyvern deems you an invader and will purge you from his sky!
###############################
"Let's drop this fat lizard, pickle his tail, and toast his wings!", Jim yelled with a blend of excitement and bloodlust in his voice. The group readied for battle.
The Wyvern flew at them with incredible speed, and Jack pulled away, just barely dodging the attack. The Wyvern screeched and came back at them belching pink flames. The flames hit the plane, doing damage. Jim opened fire of the Wyvern and tagged its wings several times. It screeched and was going to belch fire again, but not before Jim shot it again, that time straight in the noggin. The battle was over very quickly thanks to the turret, though the group knew it wouldn't always be this easy. The Wyvern fell from the sky, and Jack followed suit. They rapidly descended and Jack used his [Mobile Runway] to land Voider-00. Nice job, a robot voice resounded through their heads as they all read the notification of their victory.

The box of endless Pickled Tarts appeared by the group's new toaster as they exited onto the valley they had landed in. There was no longer a Wyvern, only a large heart-shaped crystal where its body would have been. Jack inspected the crystal.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Wyvern Heart:
Magic crystal that can be used to enhance certain magical items and familiars. Increases the natural mana in the air around it.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Mathew elected to have the Heart put in the garden, everyone agreed since they needed as much caffeine as possible for mana replenishment. They held a vote on what to do with the new aircraft upgrade points they got from the fight. The group decided on Living Space Improvements 2 and Smithy 1. They heard an anvil and furnace clang against the underbelly of the plane, and beds appeared before them several feet away from the couches. A coffee machine appeared along with utensils, pot, and pans. Cups, bowls, and plates appeared in the once empty cabinets. Jack turned the plane off as the sun set in a crimson silhouette. The group spoke until they got tired and laid down. They slept then and would soar the next day.
