Fire slowly cascaded down in small embers around the field as young Arbor watched his siblings train. Arbor watched in awe as his siblings used their Ignis family elemental art to draw forth the flames sitting deep with within their mana cores. His older brother Ferox’s flames began to burn ferociously from his hands the waves from their heat causing his brothers long crimson hair to blow madly around him; causing the young teen to look like a genuine hero from tales of old. While his little sister Vita showed her innate talent as she whipped her small tongues of flames around her small figure as she did her best not to smile as her rose-colored ponytail danced behind her. Arbor’s two siblings stared at each other in an unmoving silence their glowing red eyes locked; on one side the powerful 14-year-old Ferox a dutiful student in his ancestors' art and on the other side young 5-year-old Vita a prodigy in the making. Time passed as the young Ingis siblings waited for the other to initiate the attack, all the while ignoring Arbor’s growing excitement.
“Continue!” Arbor heard his father shout from the side of the training field. His father kept himself close enough to the match to intervene in case either of his children got carried away with their attacks or began to show signs of fatigue. Arbor glanced quickly at his father's face and saw the deep pride held within his equally red eyes as he watched his children continue their training. Looking at his father’s obvious admiration for his siblings Arbor began to question his place so far from the training.

“Mother?” Arbor looked to the radiant young women standing behind him. “When can I practice with Big brother?”. While Arbor hadn’t yet figured out how to summon fire like his siblings he could still command his mana to flow through his body.
“You will receive separate training from your brother and sister, for now, child.” his mother said, her enchanting yellow eyes keeping his gaze.
“ Your body has different needs than your siblings and until you can properly protect yourself in a spar we can’t have you out there in the training field.” Arbor’s inexperience left him unable to notice the cold undertones in his mother’s words.
“ Now you will not bring this topic up to your father or myself again. Is that understood?”
“Yes mother,” Arbor said clearly understanding the topic was done being discussed.
His mothers' words didn’t discourage the excitement building up within Arbor if he couldn’t train today maybe he could train tomorrow or the next day. He didn’t know when his parents would start him practicing with his siblings so for now, Arbor just made a silent vow to be ready for when he’d be called on. Summoning all his will Arbor stared deeply at the training field burning each of his siblings' moves into his memory, his innocent dark brown eyes trying hard not to blink in an effort to not miss any part of the fight in front of him.
