Outside, it was chaotic, just like Wolfry had described it. As Wolfry took in the sights and the smell of smoke, a loud explosion at the Corpus building occured

“Did you hear that, Vincent?”

“Yes, and it looks like everyone else here did too.”

“It came from the long abandoned Corpus building. I’m going to take a look.”

“Be careful out there.”

And with that, Wolfry made his way over to the Corpus building. As he got closer to it, a strange smell began to fill the air, and got stronger the closer he got to the building. Wolfry thought nothing of this strange smell and continued on his journey. Little did he know, this was a test release of BottleNeck’s new toxin.

By the time Wolfry reached the Corpus building, he was collapsing, somehow still dragging himself towards the building.

But as soon as Wolfry entered the Corpus building, he felt better.

Inside the Corpus building, Wolfry found many armed thugs. It was just his luck that no one saw him entering the building, and that no one was guarding the main door at the time.

He hid behind a pillar and saw that an armed thug was coming towards just that pillar. As soon as the thug was in reach, Wolfry grabbed them by the neck forcefully, breaking it with a loud crack.

“How’s it like outside?” Asked one of the thugs

“I dunno, rumor has it that boss just released a test wave of his new toxin, or something like that. Maybe that was the explosion earlier?”

“Hey I heard about that too. I even breathed a wiff, I think.”

“Oh, what what happened then?”

“Don’t know, cus I came here.”

“What’s so special about here?“

“It’s the only place, as far as I know at least, which is constantly releasing the only “cure” for this toxin into the air. I feel okay now.”

“Weird”

“Well, I didn’t expect this. Taking out these guys like this will take too much time. I can deal with them later, so it would be smart to go up the elevator if it’s working.” said Wolfry

Wolfry headed to the elevator quietely.

“It works!”

While going up, he felt and heard a rumble, followed by screams. It got louder and shakier, intensifying by the second. Suddenly, the elevator bursted into flames, and then exploded, which sent Wolfry flying out of the building. He saw that the entire building was in flames, and had exploded.

“So that’s what those screams were about, huh? Maybe the fire started at the bottom and made it’s way up the t-”

Just then, Wolfry fell on the ground, and got knocked out.

He woke up strapped to a stretcher, with a person with a bottle mask on their head in front of him.

“Who are you?” Wolfry asked

Suddenly, the figure began to talk-

“You have no idea, do you Wolfry? Exactly according to plan. Well, i’m going to you a little hint. You left me to die in the attacks in 2022. ” Said the Figure

“I didn’t leave anyone to die. I think you’re mistaken.”

“You always were stupid, Wolfry…”

“Ok, another hint, but no more, got it?”

The Figure Chuckles

“What’s so funny?”

“It’s none of your business. Anyway, here is your hin- hehehe”

“He he”

“I can’t wait ANY LONGER! I need to see the look on your face!”
