Yeah I'm talking to you, reader.
This is my first ever LLN(Light Light Novel) about a guy named “Shun” who is a 17 years old teen that one day receives a package that he never really ordered, was it sent by a family member or something deeper is in to it?
We are in the 2150, an era where humanoids and AI’s are very advanced and very human-like, the main company that makes these Humanoids is called Veta, but you’ll see more about it in the LLN.
This LLN is anime style so you should imagine all the scenes in a drawn cute style(any style you prefer).
I will care to add little sketches and drawings so you can see what i imagine instead of making you imagine what i describe and imagine(lol).
Every “Chapter” will have a note at the start and one at the end, to keep you updated about the story and my difficulties and if the next chapter will come soon or late(I don't really find this useful since no one attends my story chapters but, it's still nice to add).
I will try to make all the chapters have an amount of characters of about 15 to 20 thousand.
I'm italian by the way, so if i make a lot of grammar errors it's my obviously fault, i still don't have a 100% understanding of the English language.

This story it's intended to be read in a phone, if in the pc seems to be very inconsistent and without any sense i recommend reading it in a phone
Introduction:
Shun was born in 2133 and grew up in a rich family in a very advanced Japan, near the capital.
His family was great and severe though, so none of his brothers or sisters were spoiled, they were oriented more to find a great and productive job, but one day he developed a very deep affection with one of the Humanoids that served their house.
His family saw him talking much more frequently to that Humanoid, some were disgusted, and some were indifferent, but a great future was all that mattered to his parents so they really didn't care about it. He and the humanoid made a promise, but, after some terrible and dramatic events the promise broke, leaving Shun in a state that even the most advanced psychologists in that country could not fill the trauma he had, he still has emotions and all but, some void inside him was consuming his feelings.
2146 Will be a date that he will never forget.
Shortly after the 2146 incident, Shun moved to a little apartment in a less modern city, with a poor monthly payment by his parents(2100 Unekoins) [which are almost enough to pay his apartment taxes that are 1800 UKo,including water, light etc.] {Yeah in 2150 people still pay taxes and even if they have an apartment they pay them nevertheless, and now they are more expensive since technology is advanced and every system is very expensive for the government}. Why was he so underpaid by his family? Because he refused to have any future ahead of him, he accepted a part time job in a local technology market that was near his house, even him was disrespectful of himself about refusing all the possibilities he had and that his parents gave to him.
The main genres of this LLN are Fantasy(for the futuristic ambience) Romance(For the cute and warm events that will occur) Slice of life( Describes characters daily life and events) Dramatic(for the past of Shun and the dramatic events that will happen) and Sentimental(goes through protagonists minds and actions, feelings and emotions are very evident).
Informations:
Shun is 181cm tall(about 5’11 feet) , has dark brown hairs and blue eyes and weighs 130 lbs(60 kg), he does not have a muscular body but he still trains at home with some exercises(if he doesn't forget about them) so his body is not esthetically muscular but it's still very firm.

|Shun will think to himself very often so words that are written more dark or dark and cursive at the same time are him thinking or acting, while words that are only cursive indicate general actions or things that happen.

Chapter 1
First encounter
Beep beep beep, beep beep beep, beep bee–
Shuts down alarm.
:……. Yaaawwwwn…. huh what.. already 9 am? this sunday feels– yaaaawnnn…. Nevermind.
As i get up half-asleep, i slip on to my slipper smacking my face against the metal door, luckily i only end up with a red knob on my face for my Clumsiness,but god if it hurts..
:Ouch….i hate this small apartment T-T°, does it hate me back somehow?
After going to the bathroom to check if the crash leaved a mark on my face, I went to the kitchen to have breakfast.
:Walks towards the fridge…. The fridge is empty…. I guess today i need to go to the supermarket to buy something,since it's 2 steps from my apartment it will take less than 10 minutes to buy something to eat.
In the fridge there were remaining 2 eggs and a tomato, i mean, i don't want to heat raw eggs with a mashed tomato on top of them so I dress up and get ready to go out.
As i go down the stairs of the apartment, the smell of the old gray carpet and rusty black handrail never changes, being at the third floor is not that bad since the view it's enjoyable.
The streets seem empty on early morning, the sun covers the roof of the decaying non-modernized houses while the sidewalks and streets are still dark, there is a smell of rain, i wonder how since i'm in a city with little to no rain activity.
i approach the supermarket that i always go to when i need to buy something to eat, some times i buy a book to read too, sadly im not the man that knows how to cook though, since the new companies introduced “Healthy” fast food, no one needs to cook anymore, all the nutrients you need are in some fast-eatable product so cooking now is considered a thing that only humanoids do, breakfast, lunch and dinner are the same for me since i eat only fast noodles.

I see a floating glowing sign at the front door of the Supermarket.
As i approach the main entrance, i read the sign.
:Closed???? .. Ohhhhh yeah it's closed on Sunday mornings haha… but… what do i eat for breakfast if i can't buy myself something?..
I guess yogurt will do, sadly.

With a down mood, I returned to the apartment, coming up the stairs until i arrive at the 3rd floor but..
It seems like a large package has been placed in front of my door, its 1.70 meters long and 0.50 centimeters large Package, it almost seems like someone could fit in there.

I remained in silence since i didn't order anything today or some day before.
i'm not the type of guy that wastes money in random things,but the package seems that it was precisely directly sent to me.
With a slimp of courage and anxiety, i took the box inside, closing the door behind me.
Looking at the giant label at the top, it's a Veta package.

Veta is a company that makes Viewers, Viewers are humanoid AGI(Artificial General Intelligence), made for chores or maybe something to fulfill your personal life.
The CEO of this company made the first self aware AGI at 14 years old and created his company at the age of 15. He was born in 2124 and the company was made in 2139, and now that we are in 2150.. he should be 26 years old by now.
He is considered a prodigy for technology, since he was little he always wanted to explore the tech field.
And now he runs the biggest company in the whole nation, i’d wish to eat what i want everyday like him TwT.
Viewers are almost indistinguishable from real humans, their program and processing system it's so complex and intricate that it's impossible to predict what they'll do. The CEO of Veta really did a magic trick, they can even forget things.
At night, the battery goes in a power-saving mode that will make the humanoid seem sleepy and very clumsy.
The Self-conscious system it's something that even the Ceo himself can't explain precisely, it's a system of machine-learning, a growing program system and “common sense” putted all together, he slowed down the velocity of processing of the AGI so they can Think at the speed of a normal human and not seem too robotic.
Their battery is powered by a new material that was found in an asteroid 32 years ago, called Lenium.
Lenium has a medium conductivity and a very great structure to storage energy, the company itself said that a charge of a humanoid can hold for more than 5 years without Re-charging but a maintenance procedure has to be done every year to see if there are any problems or if the battery it's going down too quickly.
All the humanoids created and the new ones that will be created are confirmed to be 18+ related, but there are very tricky looking ones that could seem 16 years old or 17 by the esthetic, but those are really rare cases since the company could be sued.
They always have a bracelet or necklace to their body, mostly female Humanoids wear necklaces while males wear bracelets. these accessories signal if the humanoid is on or off, the bracelets are white metal glowing flat straps attached to the wrist while necklaces are white thin flat lines attached all around the neck.
The necklaces or bracelets can't be removed since they are implanted to the humanoid body, and if they were missing or hidden with some kind of modification, the humanoid should be immediately sent back to the company for fixing or removing that issue,if not,the owner will be arrested for illegal possession or usage of the humanoid since humanoids need to be differentiated from humans.

An unknown figure pops out the white professional package with hands in the air screaming some strange liberation word, while all the white safe cotton filling is flying everywhere.
As “she” explodes out the box, i see that the clothes she’s wearing are default female humanoid clothes, her arms were visible since she was wearing a white and green shirt with no arm sleeves and as for the lower dressing she had a mid sized white skirt that doesn't seem to be that free,she should have some shorts beneath the skirt, probably for protecting herself from some creeps that could peek under it, don't question me how i know it.
her white-tan skin seemed smooth and female-like, but, i have no reason to wonder about it since i already know how a humanoid should be.
Her yellow eyes feel… Very alive? i Never seen such bright and… Excited expression only by seeing the eyes, yellow fits her eyes i guess…
Her white hairs flew with the little white cotton pellets around her. who designed a humanoid that it's mostly only bright colors? =-=

I try to stop the humanoid from talking but it's harder than i thought, it's not my first encounter with an advanced humanoid but, this one seems very annoying and Hyper-active.
while she lists the things that any humanoid can do, i notice that she doesn't have a bracelet or necklace with her, is she a new type of humanoid or…

After that random encounter and very lively discussion, she went to sit in a nearby chair saying that she needs to “calibrate her senses to the area” but i only see her with her head on the table, almost like she's taking a nap -_-(all that time in that box and she needs to take a nap? humanoids are getting more lazy than humans.)
I started to clean up the main entrance from the white cotton and i took the big package in some angle of my room so if i have to send her back i can stuff her in and the work is done(the problem would be if she starts opposing)
As i stuffed the package in my room, i found a manual inside of it

I readed all the manual, 10 pages in total explaining only “some” of the functions, the new “early” functions are not displayed or listed in any way, did someone send me a hitman or something? i fear that this humanoid could kill me in my sleep T^T
Returning to the kitchen/livingroom, i catch Viewy still sleeping on that table, but a cold breeze arrives through the window, it's understandable since it's early morning but..
:it almost feels like… that cold night….why do i feel my head so light…

Viewy dashes into my room like she was being chased by some death machine, the fact that she is “early access” it's very understandable since her strange behavior. i don't mind Viewy and i approach the door

2 mid aged men were standing in front of my door, they didn't seem hostile but they were wearing gloves and their faces were hidden beneath a strange.. digital mask? maybe it's the new prototype of fast accessories from that other company?
Unknown:Hey pal, we are searching for some kind of Humanoid and we heard that it has been sent to an apartment here, that humanoid is very dangerous and could cause some trouble, do you know anything about it?

As for now, i don't know what are the true intentions of these 2 strange guys, it could seem that they come from Veta but, they didn't make any statement about it, i can't simply say yes and make them enter my apartment.

:I mean, yeah? 10 days ago i bought 8 eggs and some other things but uhh i didn't knew how to cook so they got like in a bad strange state even if i putted them in the fridge, and about the 6 eggs i wanted to do an omurice but uhh 6 were too much so it turned out a mess so now–

Viewy seemed so confused and weirded out that she shouted the first 3 words that came up her mind i guess, well now the only thing i can do is pray her to create some recipe having only 2 eggs.

:Oh ok i go with scrambled , i thought that it was gonna be more hard to find a solution.

I'm sure that scrambled eggs are the easiest recipe to make, but, i never saw someone cook so i want to see how simple are they to make—

:WHAT- IT'S THAT EASY TO MAKE THEM?!
Viewy:Yeah, even a little kid can make them.

Viewy:There aren't anymore eggs, do you have dementia or something?
:Oh….. Let's eat then..
We sit at the table right next to the kitchen.
Viewy: Hard munching noises

I take a bite out of the scrambled eggs she prepared.
:Ohhhh,it's great! you're a great cook, Viewy
Viewy: Oh.. thanks.. it's nothing since i already have installed a cooking system so it's not that rewarding..
:Still, you made dinner and it's delicious! The important thing is that you put effort in making it,thanks Viewy.
-Viewy’s eyes widen and she retreats back with a little blush while she looks down-
Viewy:T-Thanks but, it's really nothing..
-After that little chit chat she resumes to hardly munch on the food-
She seems to like a lot “eating”.... i wonder, where does that food go? somehow the “stomach storage” needs to be emptied.
-5 minutes later-
:Thanks for the meal—
-A loud noise comes out Viewy’s “Stomach”-

:…. Was that your-
Viewy: Yup, my stomach just finished the process of melting the food and storing it as a power source.
:Food can be used as a power source in humanoids?
Viewy:Mmhm,like humans, you take the nutrients from the food and then them can be used as energy for your body, i'm not gonna explain further because you probably know how your body works.
Talking about humanoids, the process is that we swallow the food, it goes to a tiny melt chamber like the one that humans have called stomach, then our much powerful acids melt the food in way less time and the vapors are absorbed by the roof of the stomach that after a procedure that we humanoids don't really know either the vapors get turned into energy.
Then the remaining pieces are sent to the main intestine where they will be expelled when the humanoid has the possibility of unloading his intestine, pretty much like humans but faster.
:Hmmm…. I've never heard of this procedure of energy being taken out of food..
Viewy: This is because I'm the better humanoid of them all!
-Viewy says with a bragging face raising her fist-

:What about maintenance and taste buds, do you feel if something is salty or sugary?
Viewy:I can do a self maintenance very easily! If i ever need something or have to repair some part of my body, i already have all the knowledge in my head!
And for the taste, i can taste things like humans! i do not have a crappy sensor system that indicates if i need to feel salty or sugary, i have literally a human-like mouth with realistic taste buds and production of saliv–
:Seems cool then, i will not have the need to.. Yaawnnn.. take you to some guy for checking you.
Viewy:You seem sleepy, Shun,why don't you head to bed and call it a night? i will care about making the dishes and other things.
:... Ok sure, if you're still not in the night mode you can proceed to do what you want i guess, just, if you feel like you are already on power-saving mode just stop or you will break all my dishes, i know that even a humanoid can get clumsy.
Viewy:-- Huhhhh— i-
:Goodnight, Viewy. I get up and give a pat to her head without letting her finish her sentence, leaving her speechless.
-As Shun leaves to go to his bedroom, Viewy let's- out a pout with a slight blush

it's been a hell of a ride, hasn't it?
I see that you read all about the first chapter(or you just skipped to the end because you're lazy).
Did you enjoy the first chapter? I hope so, more chapters are gonna come after this one and i'm sure I'll put pretty much the same energy as this one.
Right now the time is 15:56 in the morning(3:56pm) at my place, i just finished the LLN chapter and i just need to add the images, I'm sure that by the time that you will receive the LLN the images will be already added.
All the drawings are made by me, with the least minimal help.
All the things you see are handrawed and not stolen from anyone.
About the drawn places, they're completely made from my mind with no google inspiration or real life places.
The first time that i thought about images and places i was thinking about making them with ai, but, it was obsolete since ai images are really bad and cringe so i decided to do all by myself and draw(best choice I've done so fr).
