The birth of the vessel

The birth of the vessel

The night air grew still as the head guru eyes fixed on the strange alignment of stars above. His heart pounded in his chest .He turned abruptly and sprinted towards the temple, where the old guru sat in quiet meditation.

Head guru: (urgent, breathless) master ,have you seen this ? This nakshatra....it's unlike anything I've ever seen

The old guru slowly opened his eyes, a glimmer of recognition crossing his ancient face. He stood with effort , leaning on his staff ,and gazed up at the sky.

Head guru:( anxious) what does it mean? What is this strange nakshatra?

A sudden gust of wind swept through the air, silencing them both for a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath.

Old guru:(softly with grave understanding) It's the nakshatra of the void. It signifies the birth of one who wields the power of destruction an ancient force that was sealed away.

Head guru:( shocked) the power of destruction....?

Old guru: yes the power so great that it could end the world, or reshape it completely. The legends say this power is meant to be wielded by a chosen one . But no one knows if they will bring salvation or ruin.

The head guru stood frozen, his mind racing he turned to the old guru

Head guru:( forcefully) so it's free now ? Does this mean destruction will begin? Shouldn't we act? We can stop it before it grows

The old guru shook his head slowly his eyes filled with the wisdom of ages

Old guru: no, we cannot change what fate has set in motion. This is destiny . Whether it brings destruction or blessing, time alone will reveal

Head guru:( confused, with growing concern) how can destruction ever be a blessing?

The wind whispered around them the silence growing heavier

Old guru:(calmly) time will decide,my friend. We can only watch and wait.

The breeze deepend into an eerie quiet and as the two stood in silent contemplation, far below in the distant village, the earth trembled. A child was born beneath the darkened sky. As illuminating the heavens in a burst of blinding light the stars seemed to shimmer, the night itself shuddering.
