  In our contemporary times in Universal Century 0079, when the foedarati reservists, in collusion with elven eco-irredentists, mutinyed and captured the western capital they did so under the proclamation that they were acting according to the heavenly mandate, which had allegedly been lost by the last of western dynasty, and demanded of them to enact a great henotic crusade against blasphemous half-elven nobility who had twisted and profane the sanctity of the Great Monad's kenotic dreams.

  Since the ensuing damage sustained during the sinking of the western capital was too great for the eastern senate to send sufficient disaster relief aid, and the inability of slightly less than half of the provincial lords to be able to attend the auction for hosting rights of a new capital sponsored by the eastern capital's emissaries, in joint cooperation with the western church, the proposed peaceful transition of power to a new western tetrachate has been declared a resounding failure, and the area has fallen victim to a myriad of warring states and civilI skirmishes between imperial loyalists, human foedarati, and elven eco-irredentists, with the western church currently too embroiled in an internal monastic civil war between kenotic and henotic mage cults to reilably keep the peace in the interim. It is advised that if you must absolutely travel to the western to take utmost precautions and consider remaining as near to the eastern border along the Da Qin corridor as possible.
