I was some kind of different humanoid species. I had red hair down to around my shoulders and looked androgenous, or may have actually been hermaphroditic.

I apparently lived in the same large building with gothic architecture as almost an entire civilization. The outside environment always had a thick blanket of cloud and looked pretty dull. I was close to where the either pre, or elementary school was.

At one point it was thundering pretty bad and one of the toddler aged kids was getting close to an open window as I somehow felt a lightning strike approaching that exact spot. With the apparent superhuman speed and perception, I was able to dash between the strike and the 2 to 3 year old; the lightning struck my hand as opposed to the little child's. I was staring out at all the birds under some trees out the window at that time.

Later on, in that same dream, a powerful trio came approaching our community castle like building by sea, each on a separate wooden ship.

For whatever reason, I took it up on myself to approach them, by air since I could also fly now. A battle between us broke out and I thought I was able to eliminate all three of them, but once I got back home, one of the attackers was sitting on a bunk bed in the children's room eating popsicles with no regard for spilling it on the top bed below him.

Using the children as a hostage, the guy with a goatee, pointed ears, and pale skin had us walk into another room to talk.

That ended up with us both sitting on my bed and just talking until the dream was over.

This one involved looking around at temperatures across a weather map of Japan to potentially find work as an English teacher there. It was significantly colder in the west and north, but otherwise fairly warm all around.

That somehow transitioned into three marine demi-human guys racing around in an aquatic obstacle course inside of a facility supporting it. One was a Merman, one had the upper body of a crab with a human lower body, and one was a whale/squid that could change size and take humanoid form.

They were having fun racing around in that scene.

It then cut to a group of young adults in a movie theater with some popcorn. The setting was still in Japan apparently; almost all of the theater goers had black hair. The blond woman with glasses had a fairly big popcorn container, and when another woman took the empty seat next to her, she started to sneak some of her popcorn in. Thinking that was rude, I forget if the first woman decoded to move over a seat away or not.

Regardless, the movie ended and a man started making an announcement regarding English teachers and foreigners in general.

That led to the theater being attacked by giant tentacles longer than most trees were tall.

The three aquatic demi-human guys came into play again, and one was conflicted on how to handle the situation, the shape shifting whale/squid; the others immediately stepped in to help defend the terrorized movie theater. It ended with a line of, "it's about the 'B' and the monster, not the rat and the bat," of which those titles were apparently each a respective character's.
