Edgelords (Prologue part 2)

Edgelords (Prologue part 2)

She drummed her fingers on the table once the blonde had given her a list of names, and currently, she was debating whether she should pass on this information. There were too many vampires in this world and having the supplier send stuff to a rebellion would severely cut down their numbers. Blah, it didn’t matter anyway, she’ll come up with what to do in the bath, her fist wrapped around the blonde’s hair, grabbing a fistful as she dragged the woman kicking and screaming into the bathroom with her.

Her eyes glanced up at the small trail of blood in the air above her, travelling to the living room where the rest of the life energy was, gravitating towards the bigger mass; the blood she hasn’t managed to drain from the blonde due to the woman recovering it due to her newly christened regenerative ability. She continued munching down.  She moved to the woman’s features, starting off with her tongue, and gingerly pulling out each little bite sized tooth, popping them into her mouth like candy, then the woman’s lips and nose, eyelids and sharp cheekbones. She wrapped the woman’s hair around her fist and bit down, taking her own hand with the bundle of blonde strands down into her gullet, burping after she ate one of the harder to digest portions of the blonde. Her own hand completely regenerating in mere seconds after she ate it.

The redhead kissed her on her bare eyeball before jamming her exceedingly long tongue into the socket, wrapping it around her eyestalks before plucking them out and slurping them down. Eventually there was nothing left of her except for the blood that was in the orb in the living room. She finished her bath. She couldn’t remember the last time she was angry enough to physically eat someone instead of just drinking from them.

After sliding on her clothes she taps her finger on each leftover husk; causing them to disintegrate into small piles of dust due to their complete lack of moisture. The giant orb in the living room compressed itself as she waded through the ash covered floor towards the linen closet, looking for the vacuum. When she finally finished vacuuming up the room- a struggle, surely, due to the sheer amount of ash she had to dump from the vacuum bag, not once, but twice- the orb was pill-sized. She gingerly picked it up between her thumb and forefinger and tossed it at her shadow. The item disappearing within, she’d save that for later.

When she headed towards the elevator, she found it strange that a hooded man who was obviously not from this district got on after her, he was obviously human though, so she didn’t have much to fear. Though the fact that he trailed her for the next few blocks did annoy her severely, so, she decided to stop and turn around and address him.

“Fuck off and quit following me.”

He snorted before chuckling and then gradually broke out in crazed howling laughter, doubling over even. She just exasperatedly clicked her tongue at him in response.

“You and your kind, so arrogant and so set in your ways. Merely devouring people who inconvenience you-” He was starting to rant, and she wasn’t interested in listening. “A parasite that’s what you are! A plague on this world!” Why were revolutionaries so annoying?

“You-You destroyed my life! I’m here to get vengeance for my friends and family you motherfucking mosquito! That’s why I made an oath, a promise to myself to slay every single one of you that I can find! That’s why I have the title of hunter!” She rose a brow, people tended to use the word hunter all willy-nilly, but for the vampire community, well, they reserve that title for people who can kill blood-moon class vampires. But he was obviously just a revolutionary, there was none of the trademark screams of the fallen and people who had become her victims leaking from him, so he obviously wasn’t one of them, which meant, simply, he was vanilla human. The vampire turned around to walk away, only to swallow her thoughts right when she did.

A cacophony of screams broke out behind her, immediately causing her knees to buckle beneath her, due to the sheer volume of the audio that seemed to bounce around in her head, severely disorienting her and preventing her from fighting back. Her mouth opened as she lost control of it, her lips parting to upchuck her last meal, blood and chunks of flesh and bone poured out from her maw onto the pavement as she started to fall forward. She looked down to see a scaled fist poking out of her chest, and she grimaced, an individual from the last world she was from.

She could see the cracks surfacing on his body, starting with the fist that was in her chest, ethereal light leaking out from within the expanding fissures. His fist pulled back, sliding out of her chest and the screams started dying down after she made impact with the ground now that his limb wasn’t holding her up anymore. The redhead watched as fissures enveloped his figure, the tips of his hand beginning to crumble into chunks that dispersed when they hit the ground.

Now that the screams were gone, she crawled over to him, now that he had begun to go weak too, and his eyes gradually widened as her head approached his neck, she wasn’t going to just let him get away with this scot-free. No, she was going to ruin him just as he’d ruined her. His crumbling hand formed a fist and struck her, smashing against her head in an attempt to hold her back, but it was futile, she was stronger than he is without his special ability, and each strike seemed to send his arm bursting into ash, speeding up his degradation. His other arm though desperately grabbed onto her scalp, attempting to pull her away, remaining whole as the rot hasn’t spread to that portion of his body yet.

A little known fact was that even hunters weren’t immune to vampirism, so she bit off the tip of her thumb and forced it into his reptilian mouth, forcing him to drink her blood as her fangs pierced his own flesh, with a vampire of her power, only she could kill any of her direct progeny. She watched as the cracks seemed to be filled with red and swirling black, almost stitching itself together, though, his lost arm merely stopped crumbling and turned into a smooth stump. His hibernation for his conversion will last a few hours once it gets settles in. So he was vulnerable, and couldn’t stop her as he was going through the paralysis stage.

The hunter grew more frantic and even bit down on her hand instead of just trying to push her away now that he could feel her fiddling with the hem of his sweatpants, her hand trailing down his toned abdomen to reach under his pants. The blood that she was drinking was slowing down the process of her destruction, so she was free to do as she wished while his fear mounted. She wasn’t going to just defile him in one way now, no longer stopping at turning him into what he hated most, dooming him to his fate for eternity as she was the only one who could have ended it, no she was going to defile more than just his purpose and philosophy, she was going to defile him physically too.

After his release she wiped her sticky limb on his shirt as snot dribbled from his snout, tears flowing down after her actions. As much as she wanted to continue torturing this hunter, she didn’t have the energy to continue, she pushed herself onto her back next to him, watching the starless sky as the lizard continued to gasp and tremble next to her.

Black fluid rose from her lungs to her mouth and she coughed it out while she was left lying on the asphalt as the fissures continued to spread along her body. She continued to collapse, starting from the hole in her chest, she watched it slowly cave in on itself, the red that was the blood and life essence she absorbed earlier bubbling up out of her chest, now fully drained out of her body and being replaced by the tar-like black fluid that made up the entirety of her being.

A weak laugh flowed out of her mouth, yes, she was a vampire, but, she was a blood moon class vampire, a parasite that transcended worlds and time, just because this form was destroyed doesn't mean that that was the end of her. She could never understand why the universe created hunters when all it intends to do is relocate her after she was ‘exterminated’.

She couldn't feel any pain, but she could feel her strength and power draining out of her, the nothingness before the re-existence approaching, she glanced towards the form of the hunter that was slowly transforming to fit in better with this environment, his scales fading away and being replaced with flesh more fitting a resident of this world due to the influence of her blood. She briefly wondered how many of her progeny's kin did he kill off before he managed to find her, because if he didn’t save her for last, he’d be dooming this world to the same fate as his own, since her first progeny was still alive.
