The empire of teracia has existed for over 4000 years it has conquered countless smaller kingdoms and went through great number of wars.After 3000 years it has successfully conquered the whole continent leading to unification.
However everything changed after 700 years when the demon god Abaddon opened a space rift and led the undead forces with goal of eradicating all life.
At the begining humanity was taken unprepared and lost 20% of their forces and territory in only 4 days but the empire terracia was always training new soldiers because of which they managed to repel the undead for a short period of time.
But the undead soon attacked in even greater numbers threatening humanity with extinction.Demon god Abaddon was leading this time which caused humans to feel despair because of his unfathomable and terrifying strength that seemed to be able to destroy everything.
After 10 years of fighting humanity started to fall back as the undead finally besieged the capital with over 40 million undead with Abaddon leading them all.The sheer number of undead caused all vegetation to rot and weaker humans to faint.
The empire terracia was still able to somewhat deal with the undead but their leader abbadon was on a different level and has already transcended the mortal world and stepped in god realm.
Using magic formations humans managed to barely hold abbadon back,but the experts were not stupid either.They used the opportunity where they had no mages left to defend the capital they charged inside breaking through 200 meter tall walls.
Soon abbadon managed to break the magic formation and attack the capital himself,when all hope seemed lost the earth trembled for a second as the light rose from the castle where the emperor resided.
In midst of pillar of light a figure was visible floating in air,it was the emperor that has just managed to make a breakthrough to god realm.He had long gray hair that reached his lower back golden robes covered his body as they lightly floated around his body and a 1,6 meter long silver sword in his right hand.

His face was slightly wrinkled as a sign of his old age but his eyes were still lively.Staring at the demon god abbadon he rushed out of castle as he burned all the undead in his way.
In a matter of minutes he was already out of capital as he stared at the demon god abbadon with intent to fight.Soon hell broke loose as the two god realm beings battled over the continent,mountains broke and lakes evaporated into nothingness as they fought for 30 days without a break.
By the end of the month humans did not waste their tame as they managed to repel the undead and rebuild the walls as the anxiously waited for the result of the battle that would decide their fate.
Soon in the distance they saw enormous explosion filled with light which signified....the emperor died by detonating all his power inside his body.The whole empire was filled with grief after they found that out but they were alert as well because the demon god was probably still alive.
After 3 years of constantly being on high alert they found out that after the battle the demon god had suffered serious injuries and has succumbed to them.
But the undead never stopped attacking as they forces humanity to retreat for over 200 years and have forced them into mountains.The empire has only 10% of their former territory left after they moved their capital to the mountain range talies.
For 10 years humans have been living in relative peace after the undead retreated and have been gathering their forces.
Currently in a small mountain village there is a 12 year old youth running up the mountain seemingly out of breath...
