First Day at the White Pawn Tower

First Day at the White Pawn Tower

"Good morning, Lalea!" someone's singing and pouring little water into the young girl's face. It's early and she's holding a watering can. "Ouch, it hurts!" the new girl reacts, a few drops fall into her nose.

"Who are you? H-how do you know my name?" Lalea slowly opens her eyes. "W-what is this place? Where am I?" the ginger gets up, she's looking around. The walls and the round floor were made of white bricks, this room confuses her.

"Hi, I'm Rose. Nice to meet you, Lalea. From now on, you'll be my roommate!" she speaks loud, the girl with short curly hair uses up the leftover water, Lalea's now wide awake. "Do I know you? I... I can't remember anything at all!" Lalea can smell floral scent in her room, the mean girl was watering the garden outside. This clueless girl's looking through the window, it's sunny today.

"Just get dressed, I'm going to prepare breakfast for both of us. There's an important letter for you to read", Rose ends their conversation with closing the door. "Ah-choo!" Lalea wants to ask the young lady something, she just found the bathroom. The girl with a bedhead gets out of her unfamiliar bed, she takes a shower instead.

"Oh, only pink tulip dresses..." Lalea just found out similar looking outfits were put in her white closet. "Wow... These look amazing!" Lalea's in awe, this goofy girl looks at herself in the mirror. She's turning around and posing like princesses she can't remember, her long straight orange hair is shimmering. Lalea's holding her skirt with both arms to see her feet, she's walking downstairs carefully.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

She stops to hear a sound, the sizzle of the food she's trying to guess. Rose's cooking breakfast, Lalea can smell something familiar to her. "It's salted meat!" Lalea's excited, this innocent girl's moving steadily but faster. "Oh, there you are. I was about to call you" Her new friend's frying the slices on an iron pan. "My feet hurts," Lalea sits down and drinks a cup of water.

"Would you help me out with the bread please?" Her roommate gives Lalea a small cooking knife. She's slicing a big loaf, bread crumbs keep falling and stay on her new favorite dress. The ginger head's brushing them off in annoyance, Rosa notices and giggles.

"Bacon is done, I'm going to fry two eggs", the young woman places the dish on the table. "Ouch! It's hot", Lalea's picking a slice. "Would you get some berries from the garden outside?" Rosa smiles slightly and points at the door.

Lalea is so amazed at how many there are to harvest that she immediately drops her basket, she's standing and walking on her toes to look around the front yard. The redhead. the older girl.

"Don't ask me, this will answer any questions you have in your mind," Rosa hands Lalea her rolled letter.
