Prologue: Humans, The Pitiful Race
I have lost all faith in humanity.
Humans, a group of beings that lives in a world they can't understand, even after inhabiting it for thousands of years.
A group of beings that creates societies to feel protected from external threats.
Even so, many suffer because of this as they can't protect themselves from their own kin. And like them, I'm suffering right now.
It's funny, I've always had a deep-seeded loathing for Humanity, yet I always tried to get along with everyone, and be nice. I was always smiling when facing this world where the past has shown us that evil only begets evil. The only way we can help each, and ourselves in the process, is to help each other as we do in times of crisis.
However, we chose to satisfy our own selfish desires instead of the common welfare. We kill, hurt, maim, abuse and use, for either entertainment, to further a goal, or just because we can. And, when we see other people suffering, we ignore it as if it wasn't our problem. As if the society was meant to protect a few selected individuals.
Didn't we create societies to avoid these tragedies?
How many have died due to this broken system? How many lives, be they insignificant or full of potential, have been wasted because someone else decided that they were worthless? Why the common folk have no say in most of the matters? Why the scientist who could have changed the world in their way to the success must be exterminated for the well-being of the ruling class?
This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report.
At every civilization, there are stories of how the man started out as being peaceful, but it turned violent and selfish. He let himself open to the voices and words of outside influences who only wanted him dead or under their restraint.
Just look at our current civilization. Humans argue about abortion and human rights. Yet, they can't save a single dying child or a poor old man who is starving.
Certain individuals can manipulate people into believing that one 'race' is superior to another and. This "superior race" must annihilate his enemy whose only crime is that of existing. Creating in that way the worst system to save these enemies, the “equality.”
Every human lies, cheats, and steals to benefit himself and his family or people, regardless of the consequences.
If you were to give a human an advantageous position, most of them would slaughter for amusement, making fun of those who are in worse positions than they are.
So, when you read this, explain to me. Why do we have a right to exist?
I failed to understand this and I ended up being sacrificed by others. Please, Do not forget who I was, what I did, and why I did it. My best friend, my beloved Sarah I shall leave their side to create a better future where we can feel the true happiness.
Now that I am no longer a human. I will not be able to protect this unfair, but beautiful world anymore.
